He awkwardly looked at me as he switched his attention toward Krean.

" Oh hey, is Mr. Kon inside already? " I asked him casually, even though it felt incredibly awkward and a little scary. I was quite relaxed as I knew Sol didn't have loose lips, so I bared it no mind. Also, being nervous and uneasy would be more suspicious than simply being casual; after all, what criminal would be casual about carrying out his crime?

" Uh... no," he replies with quite a confused demeanor. After all, it was my first time speaking with him, and this was not how I expected it to go.

" Oh ok" I replied with the same tone, and I just left the bathroom and went straight to the classroom. I wonder what's happening over there. Krean probably left instantly, as getting seen beaten up by the first place freshman was probably something he didn't want.

I walk toward my chair, which feels incredibly awkward as I see Charlotte sitting next to it, minding her own business.

Not long after, Sol enters the room and glances at me quickly. It was incredibly subtle, but as I was looking at him already, I caught it happening in my own eyes. I know Sol was not dense, so he probably realized what happened. I was probably incredibly suspicious towards him already, as I was just a 1* with a weak ability.

I don't even know what my reputation is anymore. Was I famous or was I notorious? Regardless, that would all change knowing how this class works...

Sol went towards his seat, and many suddenly flocked to him. Among them was Leon, personally talking to Sol with quite a friendly smile. Well, they did see his capabilities during the assessment, so that was probably the main reason.

Well, that was ultimately for the best, as they are going to be in the same party in the conquest for freedom, so building and improving their relationship as soon as possible would be for the best. That also somewhat temporarily removed Sol's attention from me, so it was quite nice.

" How did you practice sword arts and spear arts at such a high level? Is your ability that flexible? " One of the students questions Sol about his ability. Sol had used the sword and the spear at quite a high level during the assessment, which was quite incredible for a normal person. Well, I'm not the normal one though, as I know that this guy could probably get every single ability in the world with his real ability, which was not Increased Growth, the alias the Hunter shop used from the ever-flexible Holic.

" That's kind of rude, don't you think? You can't just ask for their ability like asking for paper. " Leon interrupted the question as he realized Sol was getting quite uncomfortable with the question.

" Oh right... I'm sorry."

" How about we switch topics? Hmm, let me see. What do you think about Mon? " Another student asks Sol as he looks at Mon in confusion.

" Don't you think he's weird? How did he manage to enter this class while being a 1* Hunter? " Someone adds to the conversation, switching the topic from Sol to the unaware Mon sleeping in his arms.

" He feels like a crouching tiger." Leon interrupts the others as he looks at Mon sitting next to Charlotte.

" Huh?Why is that? " Someone questions him as to why he thinks so. " No matter how I look, he's only a 1* Ki user who used some sort of scheme."

" I don't think you want to continue that." Leon says, as he realized what the student was about to say. The sentence he muttered questioned the authority and fairness of Tree, which was something you can't do. Tree's authority and the name were to be respected after all.

" Anyways, as I was saying, He's a crouching tiger. Have you seen someone with such a temperament among 1* and even 2* hunters? The way he carries himself was not something a loser that enrolled through whatever you were saying would have. " Even though he said that, it seems like Leon didn't even mean it. He was confused as well, but he didn't think Tree would make such a horrible decision, such as putting a weakling in S class.

" How about you? " He looks at Sol with the same friendly smile on his face.

" Hmm... I agree." Sol muttered as he watched the sleeping Mon, remembering the small encounter they had earlier.

Mon standing in front of the beaten-down Krean, a 2* Mage, was quite a suspicious, weird, yet obvious situation.

" Alright class, settle down " Kon enters the room with a few cards in his arms. Those were probably the reports on our assessment.

" Alright, so on these cards were the comments, assessments, and programs that we personally gave to each one of you. The ratings are also present and classified into three categories. Combat skill, Ability Power, and Potential. " Mr. Kon passes the cards around personally, and you can see the faces of others turn grim while some turn bright. Probably because the assessment was quite honest and the others could suddenly see fault in something they held pride in. Well, regardless, I already know how that rating went for me...

[Mon Weise]

Combat Skill: Rank 6

Ability Power: Rank 12

Potential: Rank 12

Overall Rank: 11

Comment: Has pretty great combat ability, although he has horrid ability and potential.

Programs: Combat Training (Will work as a guard) No other options.

Are you serious?

I knew they were quite harsh, but this was some nonsense. Not only did they not give me a Ki collection technique, but they also didn't even want to waste a Ki collection technique on me. I'm going to have to go to the Lair tonight without a Ki collection technique.

Well, I'm somehow ranked 11 for some weird reason. Who did I even manage to surpass, knowing my rankings? Was it Luna? Well, she wasn't present in the assessment, but her ability was the best in all of humanity. I'm sure she was still up top...

" Don't worry, student, Mon. This is just the initial assessment. I'm sure you'll be something when you work hard. Maybe even the President's bodyguard. " Mr. Kon says as he looks at my card.

Well, that was not very helpful. You might say I'm quite the ungrateful one, but he literally says, "I could become a bodyguard. Well, I guess it was just being realistic, but knowing Kon... There's a message hidden in that sentence.

Getting comforted by the Elitist Spy of the Demons was quite nerve-racking after all.
