11 Chapter 11

"Better get ready boys. . . hope you passed Mister Bill's quiz!" Angela shout in front of her classmates. The boys looked at her with defeat and just agree to her.

"Tss, the fitness test is meant for you ladies. You're just lucky." Frank said between his thoughts. Charles agree with him and the rest of the boys.

"Hey, calm down everybody. There's a next time okay. . ." Elle said to her classmates. There might be a cold war. . . Men are full of pride, not accepting loss. Before anything bad happens, Missis Christine Pangilinan came in to their room and announced that they can go home. The class bid her good bye and express their happiness by shouting and dancing in a silly way. Even though, they are tired they still manage to smiled and laugh.

To satisfy his day, Charles went on to Angela’s direction and shook her shoulders. Angela is surprised and immediately hits Charles head. Charles just laugh and continue teasing her. While the two is busy on their quarrel, Devi is packing up her things ready to went home. So that she can lie on her bed and take a nap. But it wouldn’t happen because of the message that she receives from her phone. Her second patient. . .

Half of the class 1-A is already gone. Angela clung to Devi’s arms and drag her outside. She waved goodbye to Tavius and Frank. She stuck out her tongue to Charles, rolled her eyes and went outside with Devi.

‘’Such a tiring day. . . I don’t think that we will win that test.’’ Angela said while laying her shoulder to Devi. A nod and a victorious smile are the response of Devi.

‘’I better get going Dev, Dad is just outside to fetch me. See you beetch!’’

‘’Yeah, say to Mr. Dawton, I said ‘hi’ take care Angge!’’ Devi said and waved to Angela.

Angela smiles and nod happily with her eyes close. She went on their car and waved to Devi. Devi watched them as the car drove off out of the campus. She missed her dad. . . Her dad is his best friend and everything. . . But now their relationship is unclear and complicated.

Devi checked her phone and read the message. . . She can’t have an early rest day today. She needs to fix a broken screw. . .

Its Friday night and most of the teens are gathered in the mall to enjoy the time of their lives. A girl is walking fast on her way to the arcade. She needs to finish her tasked and go home early. She went inside to the ‘Timezone’ one of the famous arcades in the country. Its pretty packed up and it is making it hard for her to find her target. After a couple of walks she saw the lucky one. . . She breathes in and get ready for her task. The guy is good in every single arcade game. The girl’s plan is to beat him and learn his lesson. The girl went to him. The guy was shocked on what good did he do to have a beautiful girl in front of him.

‘’Hi miss, finding a companion?’’ The guy asked. The girl smiled to him, it is the sweetest smile a girl can do. She just nods in response. The guy moves closer to her and whisper to her ear, ‘’If I win in the basketball shooting game, would you go out with me?’’ The nerve of this guy, the girl knows that he has already a girlfriend and here he is flirting with her. . . what a loving man.

‘’Sure! Let’s go then’’ The girl replied. So, they went to the basketball shooting game and luckily, it’s vacant. They went on their places and insert the tokens and the 3 minute game starts. The girl will lose in purpose but she doesn’t do it obviously so that the guy won’t notice. She is purposely avoiding the basket when she sees that she might win. She acts cute like a Japanese girl in an anime and she do it perfectly. The guy is looking at the girl and attracted to its cuteness. While playing the guy is observing the girl and he sensed that the girl is kind of rich. Based on her skin and clothing and the way she moves is nice and polite.

The guy wins with a score of 58. ‘’May I know the name of my maiden tonight?’’ He asked.

The cute girl was now smiling in an unusual way. The smile of a girl that is broken but still going strong. ‘’I’m Devily, nice to meet you. . . David.’’

They are now eating to an expensive restaurant. It serves all the different cuisines from all over the world. David wouldn’t mind treating a girl to a place like this, money is not a problem. Devily is enjoying her jamon a good food in Spain. David leaned forward to examine her face. Devily has a heart shaped face, a perfect natural eyebrow, chocolate brown eyes and a cute personality. Any guy would fall heels over her but not him. He needs to resist the temptation just like what he does with the other girl before.

‘’Tell me Devily, how did you know my name?’’ David asked and let out a little chuckle. He may be a good-looking guy but he’s not that famous.

‘’I heard you from a friend. . . I’m surprised that I will saw you here.’’ Devily replied. She needs to finish this guy quick.

‘’Ha ha ha! Thanks to your friend for telling me. I can now see a beautiful angel.’’ He said and lean closer to her. Devily avoid his face and calls for the waiter for their check. Devily just smiled to him and check her shoulder bag for her wallet.

‘’Hey Devi, no need for that. I’m the one who invited you. I got this.’’ David gets his wallet and pull out a 1000 peso bill and gave it to the waiter. He nods to the waiter, telling him to keep the change. The waiter smiled and nod to them. Devily smirked and wipe her mouth with the napkin. David helped her out to her chair and they went outside. They were talking and giggling the whole time they walked. Now, to end this show. . . The both of them are in the parking lot, ready to go home. Devily is checking the place if it is all clear out. She checked her phone and text some important people.

‘’David, thanks for this day.’’ David smiled.

‘’Yeah, me too. Hope we can do this again.’’ David is sure that Devi will fall for him. He’s a boyfriend material. Devily put her right hand on her back and crossed the index and middle finger. She looked into David’s eyes, ‘’I think there is no next time.’’ She turned her back to him and walked away from the parking lot. In front of David are the bodyguards of Nancy Mendoza. They are ready to beat the shit out of David.
