Kaeya Alberich was in a bad mood today. The mess caused by Stormterror was already weighing down on his psyche he did not wish to see another city collapse in this lifetime. The person named Andrew however made things escalate to a new level.

"So this…child flew in through the window and asked for resources in exchange for protection." Lisa the powerful thunder mage now staying in Mondstadt as a humble librarian crossed her arms beneath her chest as she inquired Jean.

"I this accurate?" The captain of the knights of Favonius asked while rubbing the bridge of his nose , holding the sketch.

"It looks similar to the Ruin Defenders."

"And you said he…or 'it' spoke." The red haired noble owner of Dawn Winery Diluc fidgeted with a coin and looked intently at Kaeya, who seems the most agitated among the group. His brother, known for his laid back attitude was now losing control over his emotion s upon seeing the drawing.

"He didn't display any hostility when I unsheathed my sword, but his gaze told me he was waiting for a reaction."

"And that button can help him locate us once pressed?" Lisa opened a book and sat down on the chair, drawing up runes on the air.

"WOHA! Don't worry for I am here. If that boy tried anything shady, I'll knock him down with my arrows!" The outrider adorning a red outfit and a spatial pouch spoke with her even increasing enthusiasm, breaking the serious atmosphere as all the important figure relaxed.

"..Yes, worrying about this will get us nowhere. Our main priority is to defeat Stormterror. If that boy helps us accomplish it, he can have a portion of our resources. However, someone needs to keep watch on him in case he tried to harm us…"

Everyone glanced at Amber as Diluc finished his sentence, causing the outrider to step back in shock.

"W-wait I don't want to watch over him. I'm a knight you know! Not an escort! I- "Her tantrum was interrupted by Jean who tried to persuade her, until Kaeya agreed to a raise…

[They wish to speak to you sir]

"Ughh..now? We were just getting to the good part~" I turned off the TV and put down my sanger.

"How long until we start Xodus?"

[ I've got your clothes here. They've been dry-cleaned and pressed, and the project schedule is in June. Please, don't harangue me about stuff that's way, way, down...]

"I feel like you've changed a lot these days.."

[You are mistaken]

"Okay, start the immersion."

[Before you embark on your adventure, could you tell me what I should do about the numerous tracers piggybacking on our network?]

"Deflect it and absorb it. Don't transmit it back to me. They sound like a nuisance. So make sure to let out some steam before you shut them down."

[You will find yourself 400m from the transmitter. Activating immersion in 3..2..1]

Once again the light pulled me into its embrace before revealing the world of Tevyat. I activated my jets but didn't turn on the stealth mode in order to not startle them.

By the looks of it, a lot of strong people have gathered. The knight named Kaeya seemed the most impatient among them which is quite odd. The reports said he was the cool and calm type of charcter.

'Well, it's not really that important for now so I'll just gloss over it. Though I need to check the footage myself to find out what happened later on."

I flew over from above the giant statue of their Archon, attracting a few dozen gazes before smoothly landing on balcony before turning on my projector.

Everyone except Heen seemed a little taken aback by my appearance before recollecting themselves. A quick scan showed they were gathering their energy to prepare for an attack, which I ignored as usual.

"WHUA~Nice to meet you all. My name is Andrew and I am an inventor."

"…We know" The red haired noble replied in a monotone voice thwarting my attempts to break the ice.

"I suppose you need more than a simple greeting so let's get it all out shall we? Seven questions. One pass. You'll take turns after each question. If you have any magic to detect lies, feel free to use them."

"Will it even work on a machine?" The big tiddied librarian onee-san asked with her eyes narrowed as if she had caught my trick.

"Hmm I didn't think of that…so what do you propose?"

If you can't solve a problem, let someone else do it and blame her once she fails. The highly intelligent me came up with this method in just a second.

Truly…I am a genius...

"Show yourself."

OH. MY. GOD. She has ruined my plans! The moment I show myself, they will capture me and I will no longer have the bargaining chip. This woman is truly cunning!...

…Is what you thought I'd think.

"Nope. I do not trust you, neither do you people trust me. Why would I put myself in danger? If this meeting doesn't advance in any way, then I'm just wasting my time here. So tell me. Do you reject my offer or do you want more information about me…. or do you accept my offer?"

The red loving outrider seems to be overwhelmed by the momentum as she started seeing starts from exhaustion. I suppose her brain overloaded.

"We need some time to think of the questions."

"Sure."

After a few minutes, the group returned now with Heen at the front.

"What do you wish to do with the dungeon treasures?"

"Get stronger for safety." Diluc looked intently at me before going back to his impassive gaze.

"You thought I'd try to be vague didn't you~ You thought I'd try to hide information didn't you~ Kekeke…." The mocking seems to have worked as the red haired Ikemen's blood pressure rose.

"You thought 'This kid is annoying' didn't you! Kukuku!" Before I could go any further, Heen interrupted me, bringing me back to the conversation.

From the conversation I could see Kaeya and Lisa shaking a little while Amber looked flustered, not knowing what to do to placate the Ikemen.

"Will your actions affect the city and its inhabitant?"

"I can't really give you a definite answer on that. Power is a double-edged sword, for it not only entices those who seek it but also beckons the perils and tribulations that accompany it."

"...Good answer."

"Thanks, I read it in a book."

"…Where are you from?"

"Pass."

"Does your path to strength require a sacrifice other will have to pay?"

"Other than some harmless research…no."

"Are you human?"

"Yes"

"How old are you?"

"14"

"Your machines have resemblance to the Ruin defender so I must ask…are you related to the Abyss?"

"Nope"

"…Alright then we can begin the negotiations."

The discussion went on for a few hours until we finalized the deal to hand over 2.3% of all dungeon treasures acquired by the knights of Favonius, expedition teams as well as cooperation in my research in any subject as long as it is not classified.

That is of course, in exchange for protection.

Why protection from Stormterror and not to kill Stormterror. Well on my way here I was actually interrupted by a bard.

….A fucking crazy bard.

I tried to shake him off but he was like a leech. I even tried to scare him off using a small handgun, but he just stood there taking the bullets.

That's when I knew I was up against someone strong.

I didn't hesitate to use the sound cannon and lasers after leading him to my F series drones. But there was a miscalculation on my part.

See, the Anemo archon controls wind. So sound cannons are ineffective when the girly breedable male God with seductive hips starts making vacuums and throwing off my drones using tornadoes strong enough to pick up the ocean water.

...I have socks on right?

[Yes]

'Thank god'

I had a feeling that the woman I met before must have stored his powers in the cube.

The last touch which he laced as a cherry on top was the arc shaped condensed air slicing off the ocean surface and parting the water in two for a whole 3 seconds!

'He's lucky I'm not holding a grudge on this'

[Because you like his bussy sir?]

'I got sock on...'

'I really need to upgrade my drones…. or maybe get stronger myself.'

…So with the deal finalized, I set off to hunt…I mean scare the dragon. And thank god…. THANK GOD these lizards aren't as overpowered as the archons.

A few light taps on his soft tissues were enough to send him close to death. I left him with a few boars I captured before coming to his lair and set off after taking out a teardrop shaped giant crystal.

The esteemed god mumbled something about purification and a Lyre but I paid him no mind.

"Please let me go…" I asked in the humblest manner through the projection.

"Heeeh~ Don't be so uptight. Let's go have a drink Andrew! Its not like you're trapped"

'No… if I leave without permission, you'll destroy my drones…'
