22 Fourth Curse: Eldritch Spectral Convergence.

They slowly transversed through the Land Of Eternal Darkness. Their steps in tandem with their heartbeats. Although this darkness was truly eerie silent and dreadful...making on feel as though one was alone within the void.

But when compared to the third curse...that made them feel as though they were stuck in eternal darkness...where there wasn't even any light in sight...it was like comparing a dragon with a lion. They simply weren't in the same class.

Yet they were still filled with dread...every step they took...every step that brought them closer to the Tree Of Nightmare only made them feel even more uneasy.

Almost as though an incoming threat was approaching.

Zeras had a cold look on his face...as he was also being affected by this feeling. Yet he reigned in his own feelings...as he did his best to disperse that uneasiness...

He knew it was the culmination of the curse...which would soon begin, after the fourth curse...provided they even managed to overcome the fourth curse: Eldritch Spectral Convergence.

"Hey Haezel." Zeras called out with a light smile on his face.

Hazel immediately appeared before him as he had a narrowed brow.

"Yes." He finally said with a forced smile on his face.

One which...Zeras simply shrugged off. What others thought about him doesn't actually matter. What matters the most is what he thought about himself...and he knew himself to be no villain neither is he some shitty hero.

He is just a normal teenager that would do anything for him and his brother to survive...and for Earth to evolve.

'From the words of that being...I can guess that they would be some sort of unfortunate consequences if we fail to triumph over a Malivoire Descent.

Probably...the extinction of our World..'

Zeras gave a deep sigh...as silence reigned for some few seconds. Before he finally spoke.

"When the fourth curse begins...I need you to find a hidden place and don't participate in the battle. I repeat...No matter what happens. Don't participate in the battle...simply look after Khain...Should he even lose a single hair or a have a single cut...I won't mind going against my word...and killing you myself."

Hazel didn't seem to like the threatening words he had received from Nameless.

'It doesn't matter anyways...I am simply doing it for Khain.'

He forced a smile on his face as he spoke.

"Okay...I have heard. I would do my best to protect him."

Zeras nod his head in reply as he stared into the distance.

Staring at the Tree Of Nightmare with a cold look on his face.

'Am coming for you...bastard!'

Silence reigned for some couple of minutes as they continuously transversed through the Land Of Eternal Darkness when his voice suddenly tore through the air.

"The fourth curse is coming...and this time around. It will be combat based..."

Everyone immediately came to a halt...as they glanced around them with intense alertness. Their eyes scanned the entire area...yet they couldn't see any Eldritch dream creature in sight...

Rosaline was just about to speak...when a terrifying greenish swirling vortex suddenly appeared before them.

And immediately after that...they suddenly felt a terrifying pull on their body...they all tried their best to resist. As they could feel the terrifying foreboding...that continuously assaulted them...

They had no doubt that it would end in a very very...bad way.

Hence they did their best to resist...as some even pierced their daggers into the ground...as they forcefully gripped onto it. Stopping themselves from being dragged...but this didn't last for too long. As a terrifying energy suddenly swirled continuously around the vortex.

It seemed to have powered up the vortex. And immediately after that...the dragging force reached another level entirely. As they were dragged against the ground at a terrifying speed...while some were forcefully dragged into the air...before being pulled into the vortex at a terrifying speed.

As their loud screams lingered in the air...serving as the only prove of their previous existence. And within the blink of an eye...everyone were all dragged into the swirling vortex. And immediately afterwards...it got closed.

As except for the dagger marks on the ground...the various foot marks that served to prove that there were truly some humans...some World Evolvers were previously here...every other thing couldn't be seen. Everything became eerie dark and silent. As no sign of life could be seen in sight.

All the World Evolvers suddenly found themselves in a kind of virtual world. Except for the fact that it seemed so realistic...almost as though it had been crafted by the best artisan...

The entire area had a kind of greenish beauty to it...as if they hadn't known better. They would have thought they were within some sort of paradise.

But they knew that...sure hell isn't the case.

Hence...they all listened with rapt attention...their eyes moving up and down...as they all tried to identify their threat...adversary and foes this time around.

And they were indeed right...within the blink of an eye. The entire world was suddenly covered by blinding darkness...as shadows coiled and wriggled continuously...and before they could even assess the situation.

A kind of portal suddenly appeared before them...one large enough to contain an army.

Am army of...

Creatures with dark green body...greenish ghoul eyes that blazed with a fiery glint and body that radiated intense energy slowly started appearing in sight.

Not just one...not two...but a horde of them slowly made their way through the portal. And immediately after that...hundreds of this Eldritch Spectral suddenly appeared in sight.

They radiated intense green energy...yet there was this black energy that would forcefully mix with their green energy. Which made one easily understand that the spectrals had been corrupted...hence are now Eldritch forms of their former self.

They had long claws....their green hair was long and spiky with various sharp thorns on them...their legs had sharp claws that jutted out of their feet...and their bodies were covered by some kind of armour while some were just ordinary...without any armour.

As this made it obvious that they had some sort of hierarchy.

"Prepare to engage." Rosaline's loud voice tore through the air. It seemed the Eldritch spectrals could hear her words...as they immediately started running.

Their legs tapped against the ground as they moved in a frenzy and crazed manner. Tbeir speed was truly a sight to behold...as they easily closed the gap between them and the World Evolvers.

"Attack!!!" Rosaline's loud voice boomed into every one's ear. And immediately afterwards....all the World Evolvers immediately moved.

Running forward with terrifying speed...as a terrifying clash was about to take place...
