266 Who asked me? I have an opinion!

The previously lively hall fell into sudden silence.

All the flame-chasers had different expressions. Even Kevin looked around with strange expressions.

But the most important reason is that he heard the conversation between them clearly.

What do you mean? Will he beat the other person? Is he that unreasonable?

However now that you thought about it, the other party has stolen their house. It IS strange; why didn't you give him a beating? After thinking about it, even Kevin felt that there should've been at least a disagreement.

The Herrscher of Sentience was a little embarrassed and suddenly became nervous. This is indeed an old friend, the kind who can never get older.

Why can't we see them nicely today?

Is something wrong with the world?

"Haha, what about that? I'm here to visit. If you have nothing to do, we can continue chatting."

Herrscher of Sentience was in a hurry and planned to run away to check on the situation before coming in.

To her, this place felt even more dangerous than a whole den of Herrschers. Did she really know what she was getting into?

The truth was, sometimes knowing too much just made you more afraid.

"Don't worry about it! You're the Herrscher of Sentience, right? Relax, you're totally welcome here. Come on in and take a seat." Elysia stepped forward with a friendly smile, taking the Herrscher of Sentience by the arm.

Elysia's grip tightened, and the Herrscher of Sentience, despite her best efforts, couldn't pull away. With a warm smile, Elysia ushered her inside, then stopped and surveyed her guest.

The Herrscher of Sentience stood awkwardly, exposed in the middle of the hall.

She glanced at Fu Hua, trying to appear composed, and carefully took a seat. A wave of embarrassment washed over her, murmuring in her mind about their strength.

Are they still powerful even after so much time? She believed that her strength was not only the best in the world, but at least one of the top three, right?

Now it seems that there may still be a question mark.

Really, a bunch of old antiques—so annoying!

Luo Mo and Fu Hua lag behind behind Elysia and the Herrscher of Sentience as they made their way into the hall. It was quite the sight – three vibrant personalities all in one space.

A shame they didn't have five matching costumes; it would've been hilarious.

Hua's clothes are casual clothes from the last era; Fu Hua is a simple cyan casual suit; and the Herrscher of Sentience is dressed in black and red. Even the red kite's decoration is in the shape of a black kite, which looks the opposite. She definitely brought the trendy and fashionable vibes.

"Seriously, you three look like you were meant to be a trio!" Elysia exclaimed, a mischievous sparkle in her eye. "Stand close for a second – I have to capture this moment!"

"Sure, I don't mind a photo! But hey, I'm dying to know – do you all actually live here now?" The Herrscher of Sentience gave a nonchalant wave, the black ribbon on her wrist swaying with the movement.

Her long hair fell back into place, but the curious flash in her eyes remained.

This place has never felt so dangerous.

But, if you think about it differently, even that old bastard Otto can't attack here. St. Freya feels like has become the number one force.

"Hmm, now that I'm closer, I can see your eyes are totally different from Hua's." Elysia stepped forward, not taking her eyes off the Herrscher of Sentience for a second.

She was like a detective, picking up on every little detail.

Even though their faces, hair color, and overall build were so similar...

Those eyes were such a deep red, with those striking gold centers. And that hair! While the others kept theirs shoulder-length, some strands of the Herrschers hair curled down in long loops, almost to her waist.

she have to say, at least this Hua can dress up! Very good advantage ~

"Whoa, hold on a minute! Back up, okay? Something's seriously off about you." The Herrscher of Sentience threw her hands up, creating a barrier between herself and Elysia.

A flicker of panic crossed her face, and her eyes darted around, searching for something, anything.

Way too close. Way too interested. What's this lady's deal anyway? The Herrscher of Sentience pressed herself further into the chair.

I am a Herrscher, so stay far away.

"Elysia, she's just a child." Luo Mo's mouth twitched, but he still tried to dissuade her, reminding her that her actual age was not more than two years old.

"Huh? So what?" Elysia shrugged, completely unfazed. "Kids get scared too! I can introduce myself, make her feel comfortable. Isn't that a good idea?" She turned that winning smile on the Herrscher of Sentience. "Come on, let's get to know each other better." (predator Elysia!)

"Child, child?" The Herrscher of Sentience retorted deliberately.

But seeing that Elysia wanted to come further, she still hid behind Luo Mo. "You guys should be normal; Elysia, you, you, you are different from what I remember!"

Mobius leaned forward, her snake-like eyes never leaving the Herrscher of Sentience.

The intensity of her gaze was enough to make anyone squirm, and the Herrscher of Sentience was no exception. A prickle of unease ran down her spine.

A smirk played on Mobius's lips. This was too good to be true. Just moments ago, she'd been musing about the strange way the Herrscher of Sentience came into being in game... and now, here she was, right in front of her.

Haha, this is fate's arrangement.

"Memories, you say?" Mobius's voice was silky smooth, but the words felt like a probe, searching for answers. "Are they Hua's memories? It would make sense, wouldn't it? You're connected to her, maybe even share some of her past experiences…perhaps more than she realizes."

"Bingo! You got it – it's all stuff from Fu Hua's memory...," The Herrscher of Sentience snapped her fingers with a flourish, sending a ripple through her long hair.

"Oh hey, Doctor! you are here too." She gave Mobius a wide-eyed look of mock surprise, then quickly covered her mouth as if she'd just let something slip.

See, with a guy like Kalpas, she was all for throwing hands.

But when it came to Mobius... well, let's just say she preferred keeping the crazy scientist – the one obsessed with her body – at a safe distance.

"Haha, well, of course I'm here! Our dear Hua, I've missed you so horribly," Mobius chirped, her smile a little too wide, a little too sweet.

"Oh, you miss me? Well, tough luck, Doctor. You can miss me from a distance, far away from any creepy lab tables! Because let's be real, I'm not letting you dissect me like you did with that poor sucker Hua." The Herrscher of Sentience crossed her arms, glaring at Mobius.

If memories could be marked with colours, it would be obvious that Dr. Mobius was a big red person in her memory, a completely dangerous figure.

No way was she getting anywhere near those needles and scalpels.

"Are you really Sister Hua? Sister Hua has become a bit... strange after becoming a Herrscher, to think that the Flame-Chasers can still have a Herrscher..."

Pardo hugged the can-ned tightly, fearing that she would think that there was going to be a war with the Herrscher, so she would have to find a place to hide it quickly.

In the end, luckily, she just came to greet an old friend.

Hehe! Another friend of Hua's? That usually meant good news for Pardo! Gifts! Her eyes lit up, practically flashing with visions of shiny gold coins.

"Relax, it's no big deal," the Herrscher of Sentience waved a hand dismissively, "Just another Herrscher, no need to freak out. Hmm, seems like you don't have many Herrschers hanging around here, huh?" She tilted her head, a curious flash in her eye.

Pardo was probably eyeing her, waiting for a gift, right? To be honest, no one had ever brought her a present before!

After all, consider this: They must be older than me, so it should be her who gives it to me!

Thinking of this, the Herrscher of Sentience relaxed slightly and even considered whether he should reach out to ask for a gift.

"Tsk, it's indeed strange. I'm also curious. When did the Herrschers also appear in groups come?" Kalpas stared at the Herrscher of Sentience and said that.

compared to other people's gazes, Kalpas undoubtedly made the Herrscher of Sentience the most dissatisfied.

It was the gaze that looked at the prepared enemy—dangerous and cold.

The Herrscher of Sentience decided to take the high road. She knew that guy Kalpas had a short fuse, but come on, it was time to let go of that old grudge! Adults were supposed to be forgiving, right?

"Oh ~, it's not rubbish like That peoples(Legion/ Domination)," Kalpas thought for a while before adding.

"Speaking of the Herrscher of Domination," the Herrscher of Sentience suddenly became interested, looked amused, and gesticulated quickly, saying,

"Old Antique got herself embarrassed by Domination. She was defeated by the other party—isn't that embarrassing, Old Antique!?"

she stuck out her tongue at Fu Hua, making Fu Hua a little funny; she was really like a child.

Even with all her power, sometimes the Herrscher of Sentience was still just like a bratty kid.

"Now that you mention it, what's this 'old antique' stuff all about?" Eden tilted her head, a delicate finger tapping her chin thoughtfully.

"If we're talking about who lived longer… well, most of us here have been around the block a few times. Can't really claim to be spring chickens anymore, can we?"

The Herrscher of Sentience grinned. "I'm talking about Hua! She's always so serious and proper. You can't do this, you shouldn't do that… and she gets all grumpy about the latest gadgets and stuff!" She rolled her eyes dramatically for emphasis.

"Is that world the one in the game?"" Mobius thought, then asked.

It has always been a conjecture. It would be a big breakthrough if it could be confirmed by others, and the person who guessed that he came from that world is undoubtedly the best breakthrough.

"Ugh, how am I supposed to know that for sure?" The Herrscher of Sentience threw her hands up, a scowl crossing her face. Look, she wasn't exactly born inside that game, but she definitely came from somewhere related.

It was so frustrating – one minute she was ready to crawl through that stupid computer screen and teach some internet troll a lesson, and the next… poof! Here she was, surrounded by confusing people.

The Herrscher of Sentience shot Luo Mo another glare. She wouldn't break her promise and start a fight, but that didn't mean she had to like it.

She different from that old, antique.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a look. Y'know, those promo videos or whatever they're called. Just a few minutes, wouldn't want to waste your precious time."

Mobius had been ready for this. Truthfully, it didn't matter whether this girl agreed or not; Mobius had a way of getting what she wanted.

The Herrscher of Sentience seemed kind of unreliable, but hey, from a scientist's point of view, this also has the advantage of being easy to deceive.

"Hmm, those videos... they were kinda weird, but also... interesting." The Herrscher of Sentience nodded slowly, giving Mobius a thoughtful look. This whole situation was getting stranger by the minute.

Suddenly, Mobius paused the video and switched back to something else. The Herrscher of Sentience's brow furrowed as she watched intently. The more she saw, the more troubled she looked, a crease forming between her eyes.

"Hey, what's got you so worried?" Mobius leaned forward, her voice laced with a hint of – was that actual concern, or just playing the part?

"So, anything look familiar? Or does it all feel a bit too different from your world?" Elysia asked, a mischievous sparkle in her eye.

She reached out to touch the Herrscher of Sentience, but the other girl zipped out of the way with surprising agility.

"I'm actually not the protagonist!" The Herrscher of Sentience stared wide-eyed, as if someone had just flipped her whole world upside down.

"Seriously? The whole plot was supposed to be that Kiana and the others followed my awesome lead as we beat back the Honkai one crisis at a time. I mean, c'mon!" She threw her hands up, looking totally baffled.

Why wasn't she the glorious, all-powerful star of this show? This made absolutely no sense!

"Haha—it seems that this Herrscher not only has trouble keeping her mouth shut but also has trouble with her brain." Kalpas sneered back.

"Herrscher, do you want to defeat Honkai?"

Vill-V narrowed her eyes, completely dismissing the idea of a new key of Sentience. It seemed that she would not be given a chance.

"Oh, the main thing is this section, the Taixu Mountain section." Sentience said

[The mission tens of thousands of years in the making, the perseverance of many, many, years ends today.]

[The losers become the ashes of the war, and the winners become the embers to reignite the fire.]

[The Herrscher of Sentience makes no objection nor comment.]

There was some restlessness in her heart, and her fingers were tapping the air with obvious frequency.

"Seriously, if she wins, good for her! What's the big deal? It's not like she's been through this whole life-and-death thing a million times – oh wait, maybe she has? Still, asking if I object? Something's not right here!"

The Herrscher of Sentience ranted, her voice rising with each question. "And who wrote this crap anyway? 'Do I have opinions?' Of course I have opinions! Two against one? That's not a fight, that's a gang-up! Plus, whatever. Losing doesn't mean I go poof, unlike some old lady here…" She scoffed, "Embers of war?! Bah!"

She spread her hands, expressing her confusion about the situation.

Some of the others in the room exchanged awkward glances, their lips twitching as they tried to hold back laughter.

But when she glared in Luo Mo's direction, their expressions shifted to annoyance.

Looks like the blame for this whole mess was about to land squarely on the copywriter.

"Hey now, what are you looking at me for? That whole thing? Blame Su Lu, it was all her idea." Luo Mo didn't react at first, but the moment the Herrscher of Sentience fixed him with that evil eye of hers, the words just spilled out of his mouth.

And here's the funny thing – the more he said it, the more he actually believed it.

Talk about the power of suggestion, huh? Luo Mo couldn't help but smile internally.

The whole time, he managed to dodge the Herrscher of Sentience's glare, keeping a totally innocent expression plastered on his face.

See, the thing was, he actually started to convince himself! All that nonsense about embers and losing battles? Poof! Straight into poor Su Lu's corner.

"Tsk, let's find out that Su Lu's fault later. Think about it carefully; I didn't realize it at that time. Judging from this video, Kiana is really suffering enough."

"The girl's lost so much: friends, family, even that dragon, and everyone's always doubting her… how does she deal with it?"

She grimaced, and there was a hint of respect in her voice. "Compared to her, stuffy old antique had it easy. If Kiana really is the main character… well, I guess it makes sense. Deserves it, even."

"After all, she is the one who defeated me. I have long suspected that she has the halo of the protagonist." The Herrscher of Sentience touched her chin and spoke her true thoughts, finding a perfect excuse for her failure's

"So, basically you're telling me, you're super-duper sure that this is your world?" Vill-V leaned in, a teasing smile playing on her lips. Her every movement made her chest jiggle distractingly, earning her an displeased glare from the Herrscher of Sentience.

But Vill-V didn't seem to care, keeping her focus locked on the other girl.

"Yeah, pretty much. The numbers all add up." The Herrscher of Sentience gritted her teeth, stubbornly looking away from the distraction and trying to focus on the conversation, secretly complaining about the old antique.

"Speaking of which, Otto's soulium Steel face feels so good."

She recalled the past years and spoke casually, clenching her fists. "Too bad he ended up getting himself killed chasing that crazy idea of his. Makes my blood boil just thinking about it! "

"I really regret not punching him again!"

The Herrscher of Sentience spoke angrily, her words revealing regret and remorse.
