He continued "This energy when active and reacts with living beings, corrupt living beings in a way." He said as the screen changed to show a person covered in black chitinous like material with orange lines

"That's what happens to a person infected by the Honkai and gets corrupted." He explained as the image switched to show a person with weird purple circuit like patterns on his body "That is what happens when you're only infected."

"The corruption is only possible if the subject has atleast a bit of adaptivity to Honkai." He kept going as Adam and Lyle were completely overwhelmed

"Weapons, Equipment, Vehicles, many other things have been made to be able to use Honkai energy " Welt explained as the images switched between futuristic guns, armour similar to Halo and Spaceships

"Why? Why were they made into such..... militaristic tools?" Adam asked as Welt switched images to show a red and metallic being hunched over with a veil like thing infront of its face

Adam's eye twitched as he looked at the holographic image

"We call them, Sky People." Welt said "An alien species civilization with advanced tech that harvests Honkai from planets, eventually wiping out that planet's civilization completely after they completed their harvest." He told them as Lyle looked shocked alongside Adam who was also shocked and speechless

"The expansion of our civilization past the Solar System..." Lyle realised as Welt nodded "Yes, these Aliens, stop our advancement." Welt revealed "The Aliens have tech stronger than us but not by much, the war goes harsher and longer because we don't want mass panic. So, the war can only be fought with only a few hundreds of millions of people " He told them as their eyes twitched at how Hundreds of Millions were only few

"Wait, then The World Serpent." Adam looked at Welt "Yes, World Serpent founded by Mobius was to fight against The Sky People. Eventually, Mobius understood that she wasn't cut out to lead and instead appointed Kevin Kalsana as the Leader." Welt replied "Now, Kevin is the head of the entire War, We call him 'Supreme General'."

How, he didn't understand. Kevin was supposed to be a normal person unless..... "Dr. Mei is also a part of the Army." Adam stated as he looked at Welt "Yes, Dr. Mei is currently the head of the research department over there."

"Why are you telling us this?" Lyle asked Welt "Because you two have potential." Tesla replied "Humans, are losing." She admitted "We can't beat those shitty aliens unless we do unexpected things and you two-" she looked at them "-are unhinged geniuses like Vill-V." She said with a grin

"The core can be used as a bomb." Adam suddenly said as Welt and Tesla looked at him in confusion "Ah, what I meant was, if you make the core into a bomb and activate the device, it can make a pseudo black hole the size of a city easily." He explained

"Wait, the size of a city?" Tesla noticed his words "Yep, so, a good chunk of a country can easily be destroyed." Lyle nodded as they looked at the Duo in shock

"You two, really are unhinged." Welt admitted as he looked at them with slight fear as cold sweat ran down his back

"Would you like it? We can register you as a user." Adam told Welt as he looked at him with hopeful eyes as Well nodded immediately, only to get kicked by Tesla

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IDIOT?! THAT'S A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION!" Tesla shouted at him

"But, it's cool." Welt said as he was on his knees and as he looked away and Adam and Lyle nodded

"Ahem, so, we'll be leaving now." Adam said as he grabbed Lyle by the collar and the two of them ran out the lab

"You look like Otto." Tesla said as his face instantly changed and coughed from the sheer surprise

"Do I really?" He asked with a broken almost crying face as Tesla laughed "Look at it yourself." She said as the hologram projected the moment earlier

That day, a scream filled with despair and pain rang throughout the whole AE Research Centre.

"Huh? Was that Mr. Yang?" Lyle asked Adam as they quickly ran out the elevator "Yeah, definitely him." Adam confirmed
