Chapter 1 : The beginning

Rihanna looked at her slip form in her hand has her mom had just dropped her at the dream university, Havard University, Cambridge in the United States. She had mixed emotions right now not knowing if to be happy or sad about everything she was experiencing right now. First, she would be so far away from her boyfriend whom she had been dating since high school. Second, she was now in her dream university but seemed to not recognize anyone. Rihanna let out a sigh and walked to where she would be doing her registration.

Rihanna was an average height girl with black hair and brown hairs, she had a bright complexion and a breath taking smile but she was an introvert when in a big crowd and an extrovert with friends. Some of her friends would say she was crazy, lovely and beautiful, she never really saw those qualities in herself instead she would rather think negative of herself yet she was grateful to have wonderful friends.

* Rihanna's pov*

"Good morning ma'am, I would like to start my registration". That was me standing in front of the reception table looking as innocent as I could possibly be.

The lady smiled at me and brought out a form.

"You don't have to do much, just feel this form while I look up your name on my computer". I nodded at her and collected the form from her. "Your name". She said.

"Rihanna Sorez". I know what you must be thinking what a dumb name, well I like my name like that sometimes it sounds like we were from the ancient year cause it sounds like a name of a dinosaur or something like that.

"Ok, so you fill that out while I get your information ready". I took a pen to fill out the form, I was still filling the form when I got a call from my boyfriend, Austin. I smiled and picked up the phone.

"Hey how's it going ". He said. "It's going well actually but I miss you alot". I said giggling. He wasn't the type to always express his emotions so quickly, he was one of those loyal bad boys.

"I know you just can't live without me". I laughed at his words and he laughed a bit. I had to be grateful, he was the reason that most of my life was not a pain, he brought me out of my deepest pains and sorrow when no one else cared and showed my my true worth. "So, you settled in Yale yet". I asked yep Yale university. "Yeah that's why I actually called. How about you".

"Almost done though, I'll call when I'm through".

"Sure". Then I hung up and gave my form to the lady. She had already printed out my information which contained my class schedule, my room number, daily activities and obviously some rules. I thanked the woman and picked my luggages to find my room.

This was the beginning of my new life and I knew I wasn't gonna be the same.
