103 THE TRUTH?

Lyrical's blood turned cold as soon as those words left his mouth. She couldn't believe what her uncle had just said to her.

"Dad, please," Norman shouted. "Would you stop yelling, you are scaring her.

"What? Did I say something wrong?" Uncle Simon shouted once again.

Norman let go of Lyrical and wanted to walk towards his dad to confront him, but Lyrical clutched his shirt and refused to let go. She frantically shook her head, and her tears rolled down freely,

"Dad. Please leave. I will talk to her." Norman once again shouted at his father, but Uncle Simon adamantly refused to leave. Aunt Marissa was standing right behind, and she softly pleaded, "Let Norman handle this. Please. We both should stay out of it."

Uncle Simon huffed, "Do you think I don't care about her, Marissa? Just like Norman, this girl is equally dear to me. I'm trying to save her, and you people are trying to throw me out of the room? You want me to go away?"
