49 SURPRISE AND SHOCK

Melody woke up to the adorably drooling face again, and she loved waking up to this sweet sleeping face. Melody smiled lovingly, looking at the person sleeping beside her. Lyrical stirred in her sleep, and reluctantly Melody closed her eyes and pretended to sleep. She wanted Lyrical to get the satisfaction of waking up when Melody is sleeping. Melody knew Lyrical liked it too.

Lyrical opened her mouth wide to rescue a yawn before she could slowly open her eyes. The yawning turned into a hiccup midway as she looked at Melody, who was sleeping beside her. "Fuck!" she silently cursed and immediately covered her mouth. After a few seconds, she whispered, "Melody, are you awake?" Twice or thrice she must have repeated this only then Lyrical was convinced that Melody is not yet awake.
