Chapter 30. The wedding.....

Daniel and Isla made there way into the mall. Five bodyguards stood at the entrance of the mall and five followed them inside the mall. Daniel took Isla straight away to the parlour of her skin care, make up and nails. After about three hours she was done with everything. "Show me your hands." he said. Isla showed him her hands. He was satisfied with the nail art and her entire makeup. He then forwarded his black card at the counter for the payment.

After this he took her to the dress store of his aunt Mia. Mia had already prepared a very beautiful off shoulder, long white dress, with a slit on right leg till thigh. Isla went into the changing room along with a helper to help her put the dress on as it had a long chain in the back.

When she came out Daniel was at awe. She looked mesmerizing. He then went forward and put a pair of shoes in front of her to wear them .When she wore them, she looked slightly taller as compared to her usual self.

He held her hand and took her to a salon to style her hair. Her long hair were straitened and then curled into loose waves at her back and left open. She looked like a fairly landed from the heaven. When she was done Daniel took her hand and kissed her knuckles.

They reached the marriage bureau , registered their marriage. During the entire procedure Daniel was holding her hand. His hold felt warm. And it strangely relaxed her. They got married within next half an hour.

"Do you want to go somewhere?" He asked her.

"No it's okk." She said little hesitant.

"Tell me. I am your husband now. You should share everything with me from now on." He said as he held her hand.

"I actually, wanted to visit my mom's and dad's grave, and also grandfather's grave. I want to tell them I got married today." She said looking down while playing with her fingers.

"Then we will surely go. We still have a lot of time until the banquet begins." He said while walking towards his car holding her hand.

All through the way, both of them were quite. Isla was little emotional remembering her family members. She just silently looked out the window of the car as the car sped.

When they reached the graveyard it was still bright. The sun had not yet set. Isla walked up to the stairs towards the grave of her grandfather first.

She sat in front of his grave. A tear slipped From her eyes. Daniel stood a little far away for give her some privacy. Isla gently caressed the grave and tear started to pour down from her eyes.

"Grandfather, I really miss you. And I am so thankful to you for taking care of me even after you left this world. Grandfather Lee took me to his home. The people there are so good to me, specially aunt Grace. She took great care of me these past days. " She snorted while crying and wiped her tears from her hand as she was not carrying a handkerchief."Today I got married to his eldest grandson. I don't know what my life holds for future. But grandfather, I would make sure that i would never let your name down. I would do my best to be a good wife and a good daughter in law to the Lee family." She then gently placed the flowers that they bought on there way to their way. She then caressed the grave and said "I will visit you again soon.Till then, please take care of me from up there."

She then stood up went went near the grave of her mother and father. She caressed the grave while crouching down. "Mom, Dad, i really missed you a lot. I know, I came here to meet you after a long time, but there was not a single day that i didn't miss you. Mom, I got married today. It would have been so good if you would have been here with me today. I miss you both so much." A tear slipped down from her face and landed on the grave. She then put the flowers on their grave and caressed it. "I will visit you again soon." Then she stood up and left.

She reached where Daniel was standing and waiting for her. Daniel saw her tear stained face and red eyes. He passed a handkerchief from his pocket to her and held her shoulder from his one arm into half embrace and led her the way to the car.

On there way to the mansion, Daniel didn't say anything to her as he didn't know how to consol her.

But Isla broke the silence "Thank you." she said looking at his face and smiling faintly.

"You don't have to thank me. It is my responsibility." he said while caressing her head and warmly smiling at her. He then gently placed her head on his chest while adjusting their position to make it comfortable for her. "Rest of awhile. We will reach the manor in an hour." he said to her gently. He gently patted her arm while half hugging her as she slept with her head on his chest.
