Chapter 22. Daniel's conditions......

During Lunch , Since everybody else was out , only the family of William Lee, along with Isla and Elder Lee were present . Old Madam Lee went to the hill in back of the mansion in search of some herbs.

The lunch ended in harmony and everybody left for their rooms.

After sometime, butler Henry knocked the door of Isla's room. " Miss Jones, Elder Lee is asking for your presence in his study. Please follow me."

"Just a minute , Uncle." said Isla to him and quickly ran to her closet and put on a jacket. "Let's go." she said coming out.

On the way to the study "Miss Jones , you should call me as butler Henry, and not 'uncle'. " he said to her.

"Why not , uncle. You are elder to me. So I shouldn't call your name. " She smiled politely.

When they reach outside the Elder Lee's study "Please go in miss Jones." he said opening the door for her.

"Thank you" she said with a smile.

" Grandfather" She greeted.

"Come here , sit beside me, my child." he said smiling at her. And she followed his order.

Grandfather Lee held her hand and looked into her eyes. "Today i want to ask you something. Do you like this house?"

"Yes, Grandfather . I like it very much here. Every body treats me nicely." She said smiling politely at him.

"If you say so." He said smiling at her. "Here, have some tea." He served her.

She sipped it. The taste was really natural and ethnic.Isla really loved it.

After sometime Grandfather Lee again broke the silence.

"Isla If you face any problem you can always come to me . okey?"

"Yes, Grandfather " she said to him politely.

After finishing her tea she took her leave.

" Christopher, my friend. Your granddaughter is really good. I will become selfish just one more time." He said remembering his friend.

On her way to her room, Isla was very happy. She was really thankful to Grand father Lee that he brought her to the manor. She was really happy here. She had got many people around here who were conserned about her and also took care of her. After coming here she got rid of her solitary, and depressing life. She also got a motherly figure as good as Grace. She really loved her and wanted to spend rest of her days with her.

Grace was very kind to her and the most closest person to her of all.

Isla went to her room to have her afternoon sleep.

In Grandfather Lee's study.

"Have a seat ." said Grandfather Lee to Daniel and William. They both sat down . William,in another couch beside Elder Lee and Daniel, in front of Grandfather Lee.

"I will get married to her. But in three conditions." said Daniel.

"Go ahead." said William. He was also looking forward to this marriage. He wanted his son to get married and have a family of his own so that he leaves him and his wife alone. According to him, Grace loved her sons too much and she always ignored him in their presence. Which he hated the most. So his plan was to make his both sons to get married and live with his wife happily.

" First, Isla would not work as intern in our company, infact in any company, unless I allow her to do so.

Second, she would be my full time wife for next two years of our marriage.

Third, if this marriage doesn't work out , I would be the only one to initiate the divorce. If she agrees to these three conditions, I would get married to her immediately in an intimate wedding. I don't want to have a very big wedding celebration. " Daniel said in a serious tone

"What kind of fucking conditions are these. What do you take her for. She is not some crazy slut that you fuck out there. " Grandfather Lee was infuriated. He could not believe that his grandson would be one step ahead of him. He knew that with these conditions, it would be nearly impossible for Isla to agree to get married to him.

"Now that I am getting married, I want a dedicated wife. What is wrong in that?" He asked raising his brows.

Grandfather Lee knew the stubborn nature of his grandson. Daniel would never take back his conditions. He had to think something different for Isla to agree for the marriage.

Grandfather Lee dismissed Daniel from his study and turned to his son.

" I want you to find out more about Isla's past. " He said to William .

"Yes, father." William said before taking his leave.
