Chapter 11. " I don't want compensation"

"G.... grandfather, it is my dream to work in the company. I have been looking forward to this day. I really want to work there." she pouted slightly. This made both the men chuckle.

" Okey, do as you wish." said William pating her head.

"But you have to live in our manor with us. You see, it is not safe for young and nieve girls like you to stay all alone in the city" added the elder lee.

"But how can I live in the house of my CEO?" she said awkwardly.

"Why not? Who would stand against me? What I say goes . You don't have to worry about anything else. Just come with me. Moreover your grandfather asked me to look after you and I want to do it nicely. Otherwise, what face will I show to your grandfather after I die?"

Isla smiled greatfully towards him and nodded in responce. She wanted to follow the wishes of her grandfather. If he arranged this for her future, she would surly follow it. She loved him dearly afterall.

" Let me check on Daniel again then we will go ahead." said grandfather Lee.And three of them stood up. Grandfather Lee was still holding Isla's hand so she followed him inside the room.

When they got inside they saw Daniel slightly frowning his brows. Finally he opened his eyes.

A nurse came inside the room following Samuel. She removed oxygen mask from Daniel's mouth and changed his drip. Meanwhile, Samuel was talking to William.

"Sir, he still needs to be observed for a night. He can be discharged in the morning. His condition is stable now. He has some lacerations and minor abrations due to which he lost some blood. He also had some internal injuries which were treated during the surgery. He has no fractures in his body. Overall, he is recovering fast."

During accident, Daniel was sitting in the back seat which was designed specially for the purpose of reducing the damage during any accident. This was the reason, Daniel was not severely injured. Moreover, years of training and excercizing made him strong and musculine. He was trained for situations like this. As one of the most influential people in the country, he and his family had constant threats to there lives. For this reason, he was trained hard from a very early age as he was the successor of this huge empire.

Isla was standing at the side of the bed with grandfather beside her. She had her eyes down and her head slightly bowed and she was playing with her fingers. Which was a very beautiful site to behold for Daniel. He was staring at her hard. This couldn't get missed away from grandfather's eyes. He smiled at them. " Thanq for saving my life today. I would like to compensate you. Tell me anything you want." Said Daniel . Emotions on his face could hardly be seen. No body could tell what he had in his mind. His face was blank.

"I would also like to thank you. If you would not have turned the steering to another direction I would have died. Thank you" she said, still looking down, softly." And I don't want compensation."

Grandfather Lee was not very happy with what Daniel said to Isla. For him Isla was already his granddaughter. And who would dare to compensate his granddaughter in anyway. He just hated the idea of her being compensated with materialistic things. He wanted her to be the part of their family.
