Chapter 1 Goodbye grandfather

It was a long day. Standing at a secluded beach Isla was thinking what she should do with her life now. Abandoned by her uncle and aunt , now she had no were to go. And when you are desperate, people around you start to avoid you .

FLASHBACK

When she was 11, her parents died in a road accident and she became an orphan.There was no one on whom she could rely on. The police authorities found her all alone in the attic of the house after five days her parents died. She was scared of everybody, the reason being that she lived all alone those five days in the dark all by herself . She was sent to an orphanage from where her maternal grandfather took her to his house where she lived with her grandfather, uncle ,aunt and their daughter who was two at that time .

Her mother , Emma Harris married her father , Robert Jones against the wish of her elders. Robert Jones was a poor man and was unemployed at the time of their marriage. And Emma was the only beloved daughter of her father Christopher Harris who was retired army colonel who didn't want his only daughter to get married to some poor ,lowly educated man. So when Emma married Robert, her father Christopher disowned her.

Later on when the Christopher came to know about her daughter's accident he rushed to city A to see her one last time. After buring her and her husband he found their daughter in an orphanage and took her to his house to live with him. His son , John Harris and his wife Hannah Allen where not very happy with Isla's arrival. Hannah always made things difficult for Isla . But her grandfather would protect her from her aunt's schemes.

FLASHBACK END'S

Today her grandfather, Christopher died . And as soon as the burial ended her aunt Hannah banished her for their house. Her parent's house was long being sold away by her uncle.

Before Christopher died he became very ill due to his old age illnesses. And this was the time her uncle John took advantage of to transfer all the assets her grandfather had on her name to himself and sell them off for more money. He waited for him to die before he threw Isla out of the house.

Now Isla was left with nothing, no one was there to take care of her, and no place to go.
