Chapter46

#Chapter46

I've never been a deep sleeper.

Distress, traumas, responsibilities, and well, to be more generic, being the Antichrist does that sometimes; leaves you tired in the morning, yet unable to fall asleep the following night. It's just never balanced enough to let us feel... satisfied.

This morning, however, when I woke up to Jude softly breathing into my ear, I felt perfectly rested, alive, and well. Seems like drinking a Hell lot of Whiskey does wonders down here. One wouldn't even think how much exceptional alcohol can add to their life.

Yes. I was desperate to get that good Whiskey last night.

I was laying on my back, facing the sunbeam-coloured ceiling, watching as the amber lights grew wider and wider on the surface. The sunlight took its time to slowly devour the plaster; it was a great hunt, playing out in slow motion in front of my very eyes. I was casually thinking about nothing but how divine a morning can be.
