chapter 6 I'D RATHER TALK TO A MAD MAN

"Are you trying to ignore me? then you will have to do that till tomorrow because I'll be spending the night here".

" you wouldn't dare Mr Ray"

" you look cute when you frown your face and Iike how you called me Mr Ray " ( mimicking her).

Lily flushed red hearing this from her crush, she ignored him and kept looking at her book like she was reading something but the fact is that she was just imagining things.

Ray moved over to her own bed and sat in same position as she was sitting, she still ignored him and kept looking at her book, her heart was racing like she is being chase by someone.

in Lily's head, she was already holding and kissing Ray, but she wouldn't dare make a move so that he won't know she likes what he's doing.

"Are you gonna keep pretending like you are reading your book or keep the book and talk to me Miss"?

"I Lily James would rather talk to a mad man than talk to you"

"Ohhh! that's the name right, Lily James".

Ray pretended to be angry and immediately flipped himself on top of Lily, she struggled with Ray to free herself out but Ray was stronger than she is.

Ray looked into her eyes, but Lily looked away because she was shy.

"Are you gonna talk to me now? if you don't, I'll stay here till tomorrow "

"okay what do you want us to talk about, I promise to talk but first get off me"

Lily turned her face to look at him, their faces where so close to each others face that they could feel their warm breath,Ray decided to use the opportunity to kiss her but then Lily's phone Rang interrupting them.

"pick your call"

"yeah, sure" (Lily picked her phone up)

(Oma spoke up)

hey Lily"

"Hey"

"are you alright"

"uuhhmm, sure I am"

"Why are you speaking like you are not okay"

"I am fine"

" Okay, I won't be coming home tonight, hope you'd be fine"

" sure why not"

"alright "

"have fun girlfriend "

(she hung up)

"Oma right "? (Ray asked).

" you asked her not to come home right'?

Ray didn't answer her, instead he picked up the book she was reading and started going through it.

There was silence between the both for about 20 minutes before Ray decided to break the silence, he asked her about her self, her family, the high school she attended and so on. Lily answered all his questions carefully. She also asked him about himself and they got along so well, Ray ordered food online, they ate, played games and then decided to see a movie on Lily's laptop. Lily slept off while the movie was still on, Ray had to put the laptop away and lay beside Lily, he put her head on his chest and slept too..

Lily woke up, looked on the bed but no one was there, she went to the bathroom, he wasn't still there.

(wondering) why did he leave without a word, is he angry with me?

she saw a small paper on her bed and opened it.

YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL WHILE SLEEPING.

Lily smiled to herself and blushed but she kept wondering why he left without telling her.
