2 Chapter 1

Lia woke up due to the continuous knock on her door, She groaned and looked at her watched. She gasped and quickly sat up and went to the door to open it.

Her Mom Isabel sigh in relief "I was knocking on your door for 15 minutes Lia" Her Mom said sighing

"I'm sorry, I overslept. Is my breakfast ready?" Lia asked while getting some clothes from her wardrobe quickly, Isabel just shake her head while smiling.

"Your breakfast is ready don't worry. You still have two hours to get ready before your flight, I will be downstairs" Isabel said looking at her daughter who's already nodding at her and going in her bathroom. The mother just shake her head but felt sad she will be alone along with her 16 year old son. She looked around Lia's room and smiled before leaving.

Lia is a 22 year old girl, she's from New York and in college. Lia is studying business she wanted to follow her Mom's footstep, she was supposed to continue her studies in New York but she got offered studying in a big and expensive University in South Korea. She think of it really well, knowing her Dad was still there working as a well-known Director in Korea.

When her Dad knew about this he was very excited to finally see his daughter again, he can't come home due to his busy schedule but never forget to update his kids and his wife of course. Lia and Isabel talked about it almost everyday, Isabel doesn't mind at all knowing his husband is feeling lonely sometimes and she also wanted Lia to explore on herself already. So, they made the decision to let Lia study in Korea.

It took her 7 months to finish the files, Lia spend her remaining months with her mother, brother and her friends of course, Yesterday was unforgettable they party a lot and cried knowing Lia will be gone for long. But Lia being the best girl, promising them that she will be back and visit them.

Lia fixed her make - up and wore a comfortable clothes she will have a long flight. Right after, she also checked all of her things, important things. When she was satisfied, she sigh and looked around her room. She had a lot of memories in here, with her friends, her Mom and brother but she need to be strong and do the things that she needs, She patted the door and leave while smiling.

"Liam is not yet awake?" Lia asked her Mom who's currently on her phone, It was 4 am in the morning and Lia's flight is 5:15 am, Lia sat across her Mom and started to eat the served breakfast.

"I am" The boy said, Lia chuckled and patted the chair beside her. Liam sits happily and eat with her. Isabela is trying not to tear up she knows how attached Liam is to her sister, Lia always stand up for him, protect him everytime and lecture him with bad deeds "You won't be gone that long right?" Liam asked

Lia looked at her Mom and she smiled sadly, She knew to herself that it may take her 7 years to go home because after graduation she will be the new CEO of her Uncle's and Mom's company. "Li, To be honest I might not be able to come home right after I graduate. Mom, Uncle and I decided that I will manage their company already" Liam's smile dropped, At first. He really doesn't want Lia to leave but her Mom is good with words ended up accepting it.

"I-I" Liam sighed and close his eyes "Just promise me you will get me soon?" He said sadly, Lia smiled and gave him a tight hug "I promise, You and Mom will visit me soon" His eyes lit up and grinned at your Mom as she nodded, He giggled and kissed Lia's cheeks. They end up eating happily forgetting that Lia will be leaving in a few minutes.

"Passport? Charger? Phone? School files? Laptop?" Isabela asked Lia who's texting her friends for a Goodbye "All checked" She looked at behind her and Liam is rechecking her things again "How about your Korean book?" Lia took it out from her backpack and grinned cutely at her Mom, her Mom chuckled and suddenly hugged her first child, Lia sigh and hugged her back.

"You don't have to be sad, I will be with Dad and I promise I will video call you anytime" Lia said detaching to the hug "I know but my first baby will be gone for so long, seeing you through the screen is not enough but I have to understand that you have your own life and decisions" Lia nodded and hug her Mom for the last time.

"I love you Mom so much" Lia said lowly her Mom kissed her head and rub her back.

"You know I love you so much too" She pulled out the hug and smiled as her daughter wiped her tears. The last call for her flight has been said, She hug her brother for the last time and her Mom of course promising them that she will update them. With that, she eft.

Lia finally arrived at South Korea, She texted her Mom and her Dad. Her Dad texted her back that he was already on his way. She was just standing there scrolling through her phone, She knows about Korea. She knows that a lot of people here have the judgment look, but she doesn't mind at all knowing she has a korean-blood because his grandfather is half-Korean it means her Dad is also.

She could feel a lot of stares but she doesn't mind at all. All she wants is to see her Dad and hugged him tightly "Lia" She finally heard the familiar voice, She turned around quickly and smiled. Her Dad ran slowly at her and give her that tightest hug and spun her around. Lia was just closing her eyes relishing the moment. Finally, She's in her Dad's arms again.

"My big baby, I missed you so much" Jaesung said looking at his grown up daughter "You just look like your Mom" Lia chuckled and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"should I be worried to the Man behind you?" Lia asked, Jaesung smiled and shake his head. Lia knew his dad is a well-known director here, he has a lot of fans and awards but you and Liam wasn't in the spotlight which is very understandable also your Mom doesn't want you both to be in the media.

"Don't worry, He is my body guard" Lia nodded while her Dad asked him to carry the luggage for them. Jaesung protectively snake his arm to his daughter's shoulder and walk to the car.

They decided to have lunch in the restaurant, Jaesung ordered some korean foods for her he was very excited to finally be with his daughter again and finally support her personally with everything, he really missed his Son but as of now seeing her daughter is enough.

They talked about Lia's plans after college, Jaesung know about this since Isabel also talks about this. He was surprised that Lia decided to follow her footsteps than to follow his there's this part of him that he wanted Lia to be a director also but her Mom being that talkative one Lia has some plan being a director also.

Lia really loves trying out new things most especially when it involves to her parents skills. She was just like her Mom "So, you're working on a new drama?" Lia asked her dad while trying some fish cakes.

"Yes, I decided to let them rest for now since I will be picking you up. Want to know more about it?" Lia nodded "The actress is a famous idol" Lia furrowed her brows she may be half korean but heck, she doesn't know what idol or kpop is.

"Idol?" She asked curiously while chewing "Idol is a Korean singer they are either in a girl group, boy group or soloist but some of them are doing both they are also persuing their acting skills" Her Dad said giving her some Jokbal, Lia told him to continue "I want you to meet them later and the staff and also you know where to go after your class" Lia nodded insictively. They continued their conversation and Jaesung telling her more about the drama.

"Please tell me that's the last line" The Aussie accent said pleadingly, The Korean and the thai shaked their head while laughing

"It is" The older rolled her eyes playfully while the Aussie jumped happily and went back eating her sandwich "Soo, I thought you will be filming for today?" The Thai girl asked "Nope, I lost track of my days I thought he will be picking his daughter up tomorrow but ends up today but no worries we will be having a meeting" The Raven girl nodded

"I wonder what her daughter looks like" The Aussie accent asked the girl looking at Jaesung's photos "Yeah, I'm very curious. His wife is very beautiful" Jisoo the actress said "Her wife is not korean?" Lisa the thai girl said

"No, Her wife is a New Yorker while Jaesung is half Korean it means his daughter and son has a Korean blood" Jisoo said nonchatly,

"I wonder what the--"

"Oh Jisoo, girls your here early?" Jaesung said "Hey direct!" Jisoo said bowing while the girls also did, Jaesung smiled at them and let them sit down "We were bored at the dorm and decided to go here now and wait for you, Have you pick up your daughter?" She asked

"Yes" He grinned "Where is she?" Jaesung was about to speak

"Hey Dad, I didn't know you-- Oh Hi?" Jisoo and the girls jaw dropped, most specially the cat-eyed girl...
