33 CH 33: Scary strategies

Looking at the speechless and shocked face of his friend, Zane chuckled while holding the Guardian Of Felgrand up for him to take :"I said, take it.
I know that this card is weak on its own, but very strong in the right hands. That's why I'm giving it to you.
Even though this card's effect is very powerful, I can't use its full potential. Because I am no longer using a dragon deck, but the Cyber Dragon deck.
That's why, this card being with me, will just be a waste. And since you're making a new deck with dragons, this will definitely help you. That's why, take it already. And I'm not taking no for an answer, so take it."
Ali wasn't one to reject gifts, specially such awesome gifts at that. So with a shrug and a smile, he nodded and took it :"thanks, Zane.
This card will definitely make my deck a lot more stronger. I will definitely make good use of its full potential."
Zane nodded with a smile :"you're welcome, Ali. I'm just happy to see such a good card be in such capable hands.
I'm sure that with that head of yours, you will definitely be able to make powerful combos and strategies."
Ali snorted with a smirk :"hell yeah I will. And speaking of strategies, I already have one in mind. Let me see if Dorothy has those cards. Sadie, thanks again."
Sadie waved with a smile as Ali and Zane walked to the desk and greeted Dorothy :"what up, Dorothy?"
Dorothy was fixing some things, so Ali's voice caught her attention as she got up from under the desk with a smile :"hey, you two. So?
Do you want some new cards, Ali? Do you want booster packs, or do you have some cards in mind already?"
"The second option." Ali said with a small smile :"I want three cards, Extra Foolish Burial, Double Summon, and Super Rejuvenation. Do you have em?"
{Extra Foolish Burial: Normal spell.
Effect(s): Pay half your LP; send 1 monster from your Extra Deck to the GY. You can only activate 1 "Extra-Foolish Burial" per turn. You cannot Set Spells/Traps during the turn you activate this card.

Dorothy nodded with a smile on her chubby face :"yes, we do have them. How many do you want to buy?" Ali held up his index finger with a smile :"one of each, please."
Dorothy nodded before she got to looking for the cards around the shop and the place where they kept the cards.
After a few minutes of waiting, she finally finished looking and put the cards on the desk :"here you go, dear. That will be 2,800 DP."
"Damn, expensive. Here you go." Ali handed his PDA to Dorothy who took the needed DP with a chuckle :"that's because the spell card, Double Summon is quite a useful card.
So it's a little on the expensive side. Here, thanks for your purchase and I hope you have good luck with them."
Ali, with a smile on his face, nodded at Zane before giving a two finger salute to Dorothy and then walking away :"aight, Zane, let's go. Catch ya later, Dorothy, Sadie!"
"Take care!" The two shouted as Ali and Zane walked out of the store and towards their classes.
While walking, Zane glanced at Ali with a calm face :"you really got lucky today, huh? That Guardian Of Felgrand will definitely boost your deck."
Ali nodded with a smirk as he lightly punched Zane's arm :"and I have you to thank for. Oh, and my lucky card, of course."
Zane raised an eyebrow with a curious face:"your lucky card, huh? What is that card anyway? You've made me curious."
With a smug grin on his face, Ali reached out the his back and pulled out Silent Magician again :"it's this, baby! The ace monster of one of my decks, Silent Magician."
That surprised Zane a little as his eyebrows were raised even higher :"Silent Magician?! Damn, that is quite a rare card.
And because of being one of Yugi Muto, the king of games' cards, it's quite pricey too. I didn't expect you to have that. And you've even made a deck for it?"
Ali nodded with a smirk :"yup! It was hard a and took quite a while, but I still managed to do it in the end.
Hehehe, after all, not only is this one of my favorite cards, it's also my crush. That's what it's called, right?"
Zane looked at him with a speechless face as he sighed :"are you serious, Ali? A card crush? These monsters aren't real, buddy, their just cards that we respect.
But, speaking of card crushes... Sigh, Syrus also has one, the Dark Magician Girl. It's honestly childish.
But it seems that Ali took offense to that as he snorted :"well, neither is your girlfriend real. Anyway, forget about it. It's just for laughs and giggles. Alright, I'mma go to my class. Bye, catch you after class."
Zane nodded with a slightly twitchy face because of his comeback before walking away and to his own class.
After walking in, Ali looked up to his seat to see Alexis and her best friends already sitting in their own places.
The small shopping had surprisingly taken a while, so quite a few students had already come to the class.
While the three girls were chatting, Ali made his way to his seat before slumping down on it and smiling at the girls :"yo, what up?"
Jasmine and Mindy smiled at him as they waved :"hey, Ali, good morning!" Alexis also nodded with a small smile :"good morning, Ali. Happy to see that you aren't mad about yesterday."
But Ali just chuckled with a shake of his head :"nah, it's alright. It was fun, and I got quite a bit of DP from it.
I also played against you and won. In fact, I should be the one to say that I'm happy that you aren't mad or salty about your defeat."
Alexis shook her head with a calm look :"no, I truly lost, because I was weak. But that doesn't mean that I'm going to give up.
I will improve my deck and strategies so that in our next match, I will be the one to win. So I hope you ready yourself for then."
With a smirk on his face, Ali leaned back on his chair with his hands behind his head :"alright, and you better know that the next time, I will be even stronger."
Alexis nodded :"of course, I wouldn't expect anything else. In fact, I would be quite disappointed if you didn't improve your deck.
That would only mean that you are underestimating me and don't see me as someone to be serious against. And that better not be the case."
At her last sentence, she sent a quick glare at Ali, causing him to chuckle and shrug :"nah, definitely not.
You are someone who is definitely worthy of making me go serious. That's why I will definitely give it my best. But before our duel which will be in the future, I should add the cards that I just bought to my deck."
And so, Ali took out his deck and the new cards as he looked through them to make up the combos that he could use.
His strategy at the moment mostly relied on either the Revived Serpent Night Dragon card which allows him to bring out his ace monster by tributing any monster on the field, including the opponents, Kidmodo Dragon, and Decoy Dragon.
These three cards were the main strategy of his deck. Revived Serpent Night Dragon is a game changer card that is very hard to counter, Kidmodo Dragon summons a monster when it goes to the graveyard, and Decoy Dragon brings back a high level dragon back from the graveyard.
He could also use a few spell cards such as Tribute Doll to send Kidmodo Dragon to the graveyard and summon two dragons at the same time, like how he did against Alexis.
He also had three copies of Masked Dragon in his deck. After all, with the Masked Dragon, he could easily bring out Kidmodo Dragon or Decoy Dragon.

With three copies of Kidmodo Dragon and Decoy Dragon, his deck could bring out quite a few strong dragons once he was able to put some in his deck.
He also had to get Lord Of D, and Divine Dragon Ragnarok so that he could get King Dragun into his deck.

After all, in this era, King Dragun is an ass whooping card with awesome effects! Not only does it unable the opponent from using effects on dragons, it can also let you summon a dragon from your hand every turn!
Its ATK points aren't something to scoff at either. So with all of this combined, he had to get his hand on it.
He also had to get Future Fusion so that he can fusion summon monsters more easily. After all, since he was using an old school dragon deck, he HAD to have that card. The strongest monster in terms of raw power, Five Headed Dragon!

Five Headed Dragon: Dragon/ Fusion/ Effect/ Dark/ Lv 12/ 5,000 ATK/ 5,000 DEf.

Effect(s): Must be Fusion Summoned. Cannot be destroyed by battle with a DARK, EARTH, WATER, FIRE, or WIND monster.}
Once he had gathered those cards, with his heart of the cards, his deck would be unstoppable.
Also, he didn't have to just use the fusion spells to bring them out. He bought Extra Foolish Burial for this reason.
You see, he could just send Five Headed Dragon, or King Dragun to the graveyard using Extra Foolish Burial, and then use his newly acquired card that Zane gave him, Guarding Of Felgrand, to bring it out!
King Dragun was a level 7 monster, so it could also be brought back using either Guardian Of Felgrand or Decoy Dragon.
And he could also use Double Summon to bring both Guardian Of Felgrand and Kidmodo Dragon to send them both to the graveyard with Guardian Of Felgrand's effect and not just bring back his fusion monster, but also summon another dragon from his hand!
And the really sweet thing is that, he could do all of that in a single turn if he got the right cards. But of course, he would never be able to miss with the heart of the cards with him.
