CH 85: confession to Zhuqing

(Ali's POV)

I finally held grabbed it with a careful sigh. But my expression quickly turned to that one of my signature ones as I thought about the pain that Yu Xiaogang will go through.

I remember that the children born because of this liquid will be very pretty and will always be girls, but I wonder if I should change that...

<What do y'all think? Should the children be beauties? Or should they be ugly with disgusting personalities?>

As I held the the glass with an evil smirk, I made it invisible using my CS powers as I started to walk back.

I returned to my ever nonchalant look as I walked back to the room to see everybody already there.

When I looked for Zhuqing, I saw her sitting with an empty seat beside her. She smiled warmly at me as she tapped the seat.

I smiled back as I walked to the chair to her right and sat down as she looked at me with a tilted head :"where did you go?"

I shrugged with a smile :"nothing. Just went to my room to grab something I forgot to put inside my ring when we left."

She just hummed without paying any attention before Qin Ming got up with a glass of wine in his hand :"since it has been years that I have seen my teachers, please let me give a toast to you and my juniors. Cheers!"

When he said that, I stopped time and everything without any difficulty using my CS powers. I smiled gently as I made the jade bottle float in the air and get nearer and nearer to the glass that Yu Xiaogang was holding :"cheers indeed. But not to your return, gentleman, but to this bastard's future suffering."

As I said to myself with a gentle but very vicious intentions behind, I opened the beautiful jade bottle and gently poured some of the liquid inside into the Yu Xiaogang's drink.

The two drinks mixed with each other, but there wasn't any change in appearance. So I just stopped stopping time and let it flow normally as I picked up the glass of wine in front of me and held it Leonardo Dicaprio style :"cheers!"

We all called out before drinking from our glasses. Because of a certain bloodthirsty bastard back home, I had drunk quite a bit of alcohol, so I could drink a ton without getting worried about getting drunk.

But as I finished my drink in one swing, I glanced at Yu Xiaogang to see him get a weird expression as he looked at his drink before dismissing it and just continuing to drink it, making me smile.

After the quick celebration, we separated from Qin Ming and walked back to Shrek school. As we stood in the field where the flag of Shrek School was, Oscar stretched before he leaned on Fatty :"finally, we're back."

As dean looked at the Shrek flag which was dancing with the wind on the pole, Yu Xiaogang who I couldn't wait to see the suffering of opened his mouth :"in two months, you will head on to Tian Dou Imperial School."

Within these two months, I won't start the third phase training. But with two conditions. First, deal with your own problems.

Second, assimilate the battle experience obtained from the the soul battle recently. And focus on cultivating soul power."

We all nodded as I didn't feel that much disgust from being around him as before and then dean Flender also said :"go and rest then, you have worked hard recently."

Teacher Zhao also added as he shooed us away :", go back and rest." We all just shrugged after looking at each other as we left.

Me and Zhuqing separated from the team as we left to our usual spot where we trained and relaxed.

As we sat down and half laid down on the huge swing like seat, I slowly brought my hand closer to hers as I started a conversation :"that was a really unique experience, huh? Are you tired?"

She nodded with a small smile :"yeah, a little. I guess this is what mister meant by the fatigue period."

I chuckled as I slowly moved my hand closer like a snake :"yeah, that's normal at first. I also got them a lot when my master trained me physically. But it will get better and your body will get used to it pretty soon."

She nodded with a smile, but blushed a little when my pinky touched her fingers.when I saw that she didn't take her hand away, I slowly moved my hand even closer and held her hand.

I noticed how she blushed while I was looking at the sky :"hey, Zhuqing, have you realized that it has already been 4 months since we have met each other?"

She smiled slightly as she was reminded of our time together with a charming blush :"mhm, you saved my life when I thought that I was nearly finished. Then we coincidentally had the same destination, so we traveled together."

I nodded with a gentle smile as I looked ahead at the horizon :"mhm, we came here together. We fought against teacher Zhao together. Then we found out that we have martial soul fusion skill. You were able to reach level 30 then. And your martial soul even evolved then."

She nodded as she listened :"yeah, it was all thanks to you that I could get so much stronger. I owe it all to you. I could even get a 5'000 year old soul ring with such a powerful effect."

I chuckled as I then turned my head and looked at her :"Zhuqing, do you believe in fate? Because I do.

If not for fate, we wouldn't have met each other, I wouldn't have saved you, we wouldn't come her together, and we wouldn't have a martial soul fusion skill.

Zhuqing, you already know that I'm a person who isn't afraid of showing his feelings and emotions. So I am tired of hiding them all this long.

I brought my other hand to her face as I gently caressed her blushing cheek :"I was charmed everytime I saw that beautiful smile that could only be shown to me.

I was mesmerized by your gentleness that was hidden behind that cold appearance of yours. I was speechless by the effort that you put to getting stronger as we trained together.

I was and am proud of myself to have feelings for such a person. I won't hide it any longer. Zhu Zhuqing, I like you. These feelings in my heart started to develop more and more as I saw more of you. So tell me, do you have the same feelings towards me? Would you make me happy by returning the same feelings that I have kept hidden in my heart for so long?"

She blushed heavily as her eyes teared up just a bit as she smiled and leaned into my touch. But just when she was about to answer after opening her mouth, a sad expression took over her face as her eyes got even more teary.

She shakily took her head away from my hand as her teared sparkled with the light :"I-I... I want to. But I can't..."

I felt my heart clench, I truly had developed feelings for this girl in front of, I would never lie about that

But I didn't show any emotions to make her uncomfortable as I squeezed her hand gently :"why, Zhuqing? You clearly have the same feelings. I'm not a fool, I have seen how you look at me and interact with me like you do towards no other."

A tear started going down her face as she shut her eyes and said with a shaky voice :"because, Ali, I already have a fiance."

I didn't get mad, nor did I get sad, I just smiled softly at her as I squeezed her hand comfortingly as I wiped the tear from her eyes :"is he Dai Mubai?"

She had a shocked look as she looked at me with surprise, but she didn't get away from my hand :"you... How did you know?"

I chuckled with a smile :"Zhuqing, I have told you that I'm not a fool. I remember the hurt look you had whenever you saw him with a girl in his arm at first.

You said it yourself at first when we first met that you were looking for somebody. And also, I have heard of the white tiger martial soul and the surnames Dai and Zhu, so I suspected that you were his fiance."

She leaned into my touch again as I rubbed her face comfortingly :"so... You already know about my identity?"

I just nodded in response before she asked :"but, then why? You already know that my family wouldn't agree. The Dai family would also be too proud to take this humiliation."

I smirked back in reply :"Zhuqing, I have already said that I don't hide my emotions. What I fear, is that when I look back in the future, I will have regrets.

That why I knew that if I don't tell you my feelings and love so that I can have you for myself, I will definitely regret it in the future."

She smiled sweetly as tears began to pour out of her eyes at my genuine confession :"but, what about the white tiger family? They are the royal family of Star Luo empire."

I chuckled as I put both my hands on her cheeks and wiped the tears of sadness and happiness away as I winked at her :"Zhuqing, there are a lot of things that you still don't know about me.

Don't you worry your gentle and cold heart, I will take care of it myself. You will know what I'm talking about in the future. Do you believe in me? Do you trust me?"

She nodded with a smile as her tears kept on coming out :"I do. If you say that something is possible, I know that you will never lie and bluff. Alright, I believe you. A-and I l-like you too, Ali. No, I love you.

After I awakened my martial soul, all I have received was suffering. Even from my own family.

When I became Dai Mubai's fiance, I thought that I had found a companion who was on the same boat as me and would help me.

But he ran away and left me alone. Those years were very tough. Because of the tradition of our family, my sister even tried to assassinate me multiple times.

I smiled so wide with genuine happiness at her words that my face hurt! She was fully crying as she held onto my hands on her tearful but still pretty face for dear life, as if I would run away.

I closed the distance as I put my forehead against hers and listened to her soft sobs as she shakily held my hands and whispered :"I love you. I love you so much." To each other.

When she opened her eyes, I slowly closed the distance between our lips. She slowly closed her eyes as well as she lent forward.

I fully closed my eyes as I kissed her plump, soft lips gently and with love. After a few seconds, I parted our lips as I chuckled and she giggled

"I love you so much, Zhuqing, I truly do. I want you to stay with me my entire life." I said as I rubbed her face with love and affection in my eyes.

She smiled brightly with the same emotions in her eyes as she nodded eagerly:"mhm, I love you too, Ali. I will for my whole life beside you."

I chuckled, before fully bursting into laughter as I picked her up by her waist and started twirling around as she squealed before starting to giggle.

I pampered her face with a barrage of kiss attacks as she giggled :"hahaha, Ali! That tickles! Hahaha!"

I didn't stop as she tried to gently push me away :"I don't care! I'm a cuddly person, so expect a lot of treatments like this in the future!"

But I finally stoping my full kiss assault on her as we looked at each other lovingly with her in my arms.

But I smirked as I glanced at a direction with the corner of my eyes :"are guys planning on just hiding there, or are planning to come out?"

Zhuqing's head whipped towards the direction that I glanced at and blushed heavily as all of our classmates started to walk out one by one from behind the trees and bushes.

She blushed heavily as she used my neck to hide herself as I chuckled :"so? Did you guys enjoy the show?"

They all had embarrassed smiles on their faces, but Fatty gave me a thumbs up without any shyness :"hell yeah, boss Ali! Congratulations on finally getting together!"

"Congratulations!" Everybody else also yelled as they clapped and whistled. I smiled and chuckled :"how long have guys been there anyway?"

Oscar scratched his head with an embarrassed smile :"haha... We came a little late, we just heard Zhuqing's confession to you."

She sighed in relief to my neck as they didn't hear the first part. Everyone had a wholesome smile on their face as they looked at us.

But deciding on not to torment my little lover, I tried to help her :"alright, alright. Go away now. That's enough teasing for my Qing'er for one day."

They left while looking at me with approval as Qing'er blushed even more at the nickname. Qing sound a little like king. Little king and the Majesty, huh? What a beautiful pair.
