he said and we all looked at him, slightly surprised because of how severe the punishment is for such a small thing.

it seems that she released her spoiled brat side, which is her real side, and said :"Flender, who do you think you are? you're just a soul saint."

she said and we all looked at her with the "are you stupid?" look, and Altair beside me was holding in his laughter which was threatening to come out because of the stupidity of this spoiled brat.

she didn't notice us though. Flender have a hmph and said :"that's right. I'm just a soul saint. since you look down at this place, then please leave."

he said and they looked at each other while everyone else was staring at them and Oscar was still running like a good student.

Ning Rongrong said while glaring at him :"chase me out? it's not that easy. Flender, I warn you not to mind my business.if not, you can to bear the consequences."

Flender :"Mubai, help this lady pack her things."

"how dare you, Flender!" she said with a slightly loud voice.

"I'm in charge in my own territory. Mubai." he said and then looked at him.

Ning Rongrong, fuming and panting with anger said :"ever since young, you're the first one to treat me like this."

"haha, even if you're the precious daughter of the Qibao Amber tribe, you're merely a soul grandmaster for me.any student here is stronger than you."

finally, some facts! I may be the emotions and gentle and loving side, but the word "side" is very important!just because I lost my violent side, doesn't mean that I lost my nature.

"y-you... what are you two laughing?! how dare you laugh! it's the truth no one can compare to us!" she told us with a glare, but all that did was make Altair laugh louder.

after a few seconds of us laughing and her gritting her teeth and others looking at us with dumbfounded looks, we both calmed down and I told her with a smirk:

"that is something that only a spoiled, ignorant and naive brat would say. there are people and places that can compare to your tribe. there are people who surpass your tribe. and there are beings who your tribe wouldn't dare to provoke."

I decided to give her some facts, but the spoiled brat stick was way too high up her ass and she said :"nonsense! you're lying!"

"oh? well then, let me educate you. you see, as good and awesome as your martial soul is, it's just an auxiliary type martial soul. meaning that you ALWAYS need a partner.

and we were dismissed. we did talk about it a little, but we then decided to ignore her. and soon, night came and we all went out to the city with Flender leading the way.

the city was particularly busy at night, nothing compared to earth cities being busy though. light were on and people were walking.

we were all looking around, the city at night had a different kind of beauty than during the day. Xiao Wu and Ma Hongjun were more excited than others though.

Ma Hongjun would stare at beautiful women who would pass by with a lewd smile and face. Flender was sitting on a chair behind a table, looking at a menu when Dai Mubai came to his side and nodded.

Flender got up and said :"depart. to the soul arena." Dai Mubai looked at him in a little surprise and said :"dean, you're bringing them to there on the first day?"

Flender started walking with his hands behind him and said :"All of you are monsters. so let's train in a monstrous way. let's go."

other than the old students and me and Altair, everybody else was confused about the soul arena, so San'ge came to Dai Mubai's side and asked :"what's a soul arena?"

Flender heard his question and answered :"that's a place where Soul Masters engage in battles, and where's gamblers bet. for all of you, that's the best platform to improve your actual combat experience."

"you mean we're going to put on a monkey show?" Xiao Wu said with a little bit of dissatisfaction.

Flender said while not looking back :"you're wrong. even though I dislike it too, but I have to admit that... Soul arena is a place to show Soul Masters' value.

it has a complete system, and independent influence. what's more important is, it's rather Fair."

we were standing in the territory of the soul arena, but we were just in the yard. it was a huge field that people were coming and going. there were huge statues that were holding swords in the middle of the field.

and there were one on each side of the huge door leading into the building holding spears that were pointing at the sky with both hands. the building itself was taller than the statues though.

even though douluo dalu is supposed to be from the ancient times, there were still lights pointing at and highlighting the building and statue. and there was also computer like moving signs on the building. don't know how that works.

all of us stared at the magnificent scenery in front of us with awe for a few seconds and then started walking towards the building.

we walked up the stairs and stood in front of the building when Flender said :"after registration, each participant... will receive an iron soul badge.

one point for each winning, every loss, you lose a point. a 100 points will advance you to bronze battle soul.

before you graduate, I want all of you to at least get silver soul badge."

everyone responded at the same time :"yes, dean."

Flender looked at Dai Mubai and said :"Mubai, bring them to register."

Dai Mubai :"yes. let's go." and we all went inside of the building while Flender stood outside, probably to go back while we fought.

the inside was also big, there were statues like the outside, decorations like vases and paintings, and pillars.

"which rank is silver battle soul?" San'ge asked as we walked in.

and so Dai Mubai explained how the soul arena works :"there are eight ranks of badges. from bottom to top is: iron, bronze, silver, gold, purple Gold, Sapphire, Ruby and diamond."

Xiao Wu looked at him and said :"silver battle soul is at 3rd grade, so it's not that hard."

Dai Mubai put hands up and shrugged while saying :"it's not as easy as you think."

Xiao Wu :"what?"

Dai Mubai :"I've been in the battle when I was in level 29. now I get 29 wins, 27 loses. only two points."

Tang San and Xiao Wu looked at him in surprise as they asked :"Mubai, how's this possible with your capability?
