21 Chapter 21 : Who's the Thief?

I woke up when the alarm clock rang on the side of my bed. I yawned while walking towards the bathroom. I couldn't help myself, but I always remember my mom contacted me.

I sighed. "Why would she call me?" I repeatedly asked myself because I also did not know the reason for her sudden call to me.

I ignored it first and immediately do what I have to do to head to school. I checked my email again and I still couldn't believe it while looking at the letter from them.

When I finished preparing, I went straight to the school to talk to the principal. I was nervous as I walked towards his office. Each student's eyes were staring at me. I looked down while walking. I have arrived at the front door of the office, I exhale before I knock on the door.

"Come in," I went in and he immediately stood up when he saw me. The shocked reaction was drawn to my face when he smiled and greeted me.

"Welcome, Ms. Tan," he greeted with a wide smile on his lips. I didn't like his reaction. There is something wrong here, there is something wrong here.

"Mr. Principal, I'm going straight to you. What do you want and need? Why did you change your decision immediately? Why do you want me to teach again?" I asked him and he laughs awkwardly.

"You see, Ms. Tan. I'm sorry about what I have done in the past, but we want you back here. We needed a teacher like you, you're our star. remember?" he said and I scoffed. How unbelievable of him!

I shook my head. "You're so unbelievable!" I uttered and chuckles.

"Hey! What are you doing? Why are laughing? I'm serious," he said and I grin at him.

"You know what, Mr. Principal. I know how hard to live like that,"

"What are you trying to say?" he says.

"It's hard to live like that. You don't dare to talk for yourself, they always told you to want to do. It's disgusting and irritating you know," I said to him.

"What are you saying? I love my job, and If you don't want to teach here, then don't. We don't need you either," he said.

I smiled at him. "You'll regret it soon, but I hope before you regret it," I looked at him and said, "Do what you want to do and you'll find the real happiness you're looking for," I went out.

I feel like something is going on my chest. It feels so light now. I don't feel heavy inside me. I was walking when I saw a man's shoes on the ground. I raised my head and saw Mr. Anthon. He looks so stress and there's something he wanted to tell me.

"Mr. Anthon? Why are you here? I thought you were--" I asked him, but the sad expression was painted on his face. I suddenly feel nervous while looking at him.

"You need to come to me," he said and I was confused. He was about to open the door when I asked him again.

"Why? Can you tell me why before I come with you?" he looked at me while he sighed.

"Mr. Kevin is in the hospital right now," he said and my eyes went wide the time I heard it. I gasped. "W-what did you say? He was okay when he went out from my place," I said.

"He didn't take his medicine. He's been stressed lately and I--" I stopped him. "Let's go," I uttered and went inside the car. He nodded and started to drive.

While in the car I could not get Mr. Kevin. I'm worried for him. I don't know how to calm down now as we head to the hospital Mr. Anthon says.

I was restless so when we arrived I immediately got off and ran to the front desk.

I run towards the room number the nurse told me. I didn't want to open it because I knew I would see him lying on his bed again.

I was already facing the door but I still couldn't open it because of nervousness. Slowly I touched the doorknob but I couldn't open it.

"Is there a problem Ms. Tan?" I immediately realized and went back to my senses when Mr. Anthon spoke. I shook my head and immediately took a deep breath before opening the door.

When I open the door, the falling balloons from the door immediately popped up on me. I looked up at where the balloons were coming from.

I looked at Mr. Anthon and gave him a bad look with my glaring eyes.

He gulped when he looked at me. I rolled my eyes and went inside.

When I finally entered I heard the door close so I looked behind me and there I just realized that Mr. Anthon locked us inside the room. I sighed and when I looked in front of me and there was Kevin. He was standing while holding a bouquet of flowers. He's wearing his suit and I find him so sexy while he wears that. He was smiling and went closer to me.

"Wait, what's going on here? What the heck I'm doing here?" I asked myself when I realized that I shouldn't be here.

"You tricked me!" I shouted at him. He just chuckles while walking towards me.

And now, he's in front of me. "Ms. Tan, are you willing to be my Girlfriend?" he asked me and I was surprised when he says that.

"What is this again? What is this?" I asked.

"I'm serious right now, Gaia," he said, and the way he says my name is so sexy and seductive like he wants me so much. I shake my head and looked at him.

"I don't want to hurt again, Mr. Han. If you're just playing around, you better stop it," I uttered.

"Hey! I put so much effort into this and that's all you can say? Aren't you being unreasonable?" he asked me in anger.

I looked at him. "I never told you to--"

"But, I wanted to," he stopped me. "I want to do things that I didn't do to others," he said sincerely.

I was quite a few minutes when he speaks again. "I didn't expect an answer from you, but I'll wait for you," he said and smiles. I was staring at him and I want to tell him that I wanted him so bad.

"Just take this with you," he said and he handed me the flowers.

"Ah, yes. Thank you," I said and I take it.

"You like me right?" he said in a sudden which makes me startle.

"What question is that?" I asked him annoyingly.

"The answer is yes or no, do you still like me?" he asked me again.

I looked at him and I won't answer him when he started counting.

"I'll give you 5 seconds," he added.

"One,"

"Two," he was looking at me and he's expecting I'll answer him.

"Three," he frowned while looking at me.

"F-four," I smiled at him and waited for the number 5, but...

"Four and one fourth," he uttered and I laughed at him.

"Hey! What counting is that, huh,"

"F-four and one half," he said and I chuckle at him.

"Hey, stop it,"

"Five," he said and he was disappointed while looking at me.

"Why didn't you answer me?" he asked in disappointment.

"I--"

"Mr. Kevin, we need to go now. I'm sorry to interrupt but there something wrong with the company," Mr. Anthon said and he nods.

"Let's talk later," he uttered and was about to walk when I hold him to stop.

"Let me come with you, just this time," I said and he smiles.

We went together to the office. "What's happening?" Mr. Kevin asked Shiela, the new secretary.

"Someone leaks some private information about our-''

"Enough! Meeting room, now!" Kevin shouted and she was surprised and so do I.

I have never seen him like this before. "He's so serious right now," I said and they all went to the meeting room when I was left inside his office. I just realized that I quit my job since then.

I was thinking who might it be. I went to her desk and check something that I could find. I was about to look at her laptop when someone came inside the office and it was her.

"W-what are you doing? W-who are you?" she asked me and she suddenly grabs me and walked towards the meeting room.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked her, but she scoffed.

"I found you now, you're that thief, right?" she said and I was surprised when I heard it.

"Let me go!" I shouted and I didn't realize we were inside the meeting room.

Everyone was surprised while they were looking at us.

"Shiela, what are you doing right now?" Kevin asked her.

She smiles confidently. "I found her. She's the thief. I saw it with my own eyes. She's the--"

"You better stop it, Shiela. That's absurd. How can my Fiance do that? She's here with me," he utters and Shiela gasped and let me go.

"I-I'm sorry,"
