10 Chapter 10: I want to go back

I was discharged from the hospital. I looked around and I feel like I don't want to leave the place. I want to rest and live my life again how I am supposed to live.

I walked and I was outside my room when I saw Mr. Anthon. I looked at him with surprise. "Mr. Anthon? What are you doing here?" I asked him and he looked at me and gives me a smile.

"Let's go to the office. you had a lot of work to do, Ms. tan," he utters and I frowned while looking at him.

"I-I..."

"Let's go now, Ms. Tan. Mr. Kevin is waiting with you," he said and I just followed him outside. We were outside when I saw the car parked in a corner. I don't see him inside.

"He's at home. You need to help her, Ms. Tan. He's going on a business trip and you're going with him," he utters as he was driving.

"W-What? Just the two of us?" I asked in surprise.

"What about you then?" I added. He chuckles and looked at me.

"I'll be his substitute in the company, I'll handle things on my own," he said. I nodded and we went towards Mr. Kevin's mansion.

We're outside already and all I can feel is an annoyance. "What do I have to come with him? He's so cold towards me, how can we cooperate and help each other with that attitude of him?!" I angrily asked inside my head.

I went inside and went up directly to my room. I was sitting on my bed as someone was knocking on the door.

"Yes, coming," I open the door and saw Mr. Kevin outside while crossing his arms and his brows raised.

"Mr. Kevin? Do you need anything, Sir?" I asked calmly, but he looked at me with his cold gaze.

"Packed your things now, we're leaving," he said and walked away. I was unable to answer him as he already left. I mess my hair as I closed the door.

I looked at my phone again, hoping I could get an email from the school, but there's still nothing. I began to pack and after that, I went out and head down. I saw Mr. Kevin was waiting for me outside. I checked all the house before I left.

I was outside, carrying my stuff while he was just sitting there inside his car. The sun strikes at me. I can barely see the road as I was slightly closing my eyes when the sun rays hit my face.

As I went inside the car I was panting. "Let's go, Mr. Anthon," he said and his driver began to drive. I was feeling sleepy as I didn't get enough sleep from the hospital. I was looking at the road when I suddenly feel my eyes fell.

"Ms. Tan, we're here," I could hear a voice beside me. I slowly open my eyes and saw Mr. Anthon. I rub my eyes and get up. I saw Mr. Kevin went inside first. We're here at a beach resort. I went out and saw there were a lot of people in the venue. "Woah, this place is--"

"Let's go," Mr. Anthon said and I followed him. We went inside, but I was walking when I saw a very familiar face. I stopped and gasped.

"Maya? I utter in surprise as I saw my sister's here. I looked away and walked faster. I was walking faster and I didn't even look in the way and so that I bumped into someone's back. I bounce back and massages my head.

"Who is this? Why he had a very hardback?" I asked and raised my head. I then saw Mr. Kevin was in front of me. I gulped as I was looking at him.

"I-I'm s-sorry, Sir," I uttered and walked towards our room.

I ran as fast as I could. "Finally, I found it," I uttered as I was looking at the room number in front of me. I went inside, I was still panting as I was running earlier. I went to the terrace and looked outside. I saw my sister with other rich people.

"By any chance, Is my mom here too?" I asked and looked around. I was looking around from above when the door suddenly opens. I stopped and looked at who opens the door.

I was surprised when I saw Mr. Kevin. I walked towards him.

"Mr. Kevin? Why are you here?" I asked in surprise. He looked at me coldly.

"What do you mean, Ms. Tan?" he asked.

"I-I mean... Are we sharing the same room together?" I asked.

He doesn't even give me a response. He walked towards the bed, but I pulled him towards me. But, unfortunately, I was out of balance and that causes us to fall.

I was on the floor and he was on top of me. He looked at me without any emotions. My heartbeat races while looking at his handsome face.

Thug... Thug... Thug...

I gulped as I can the heat from his breath.

"Are you going to stare at me the whole time?" he asked and I was back to reality.

"Huh?"

"I'm handsome right?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

I pulled him away from me. I stood up and fixed my shirt.

"Is there any problem, Ms. Tan?" he asked me and I looked at him.

"No, nothing, Sir," I uttered and I went inside the bathroom. I was leaning in the door when I touch my chest.

"Why my heartbeat so fast?" I asked myself as I can feel the beat on my heart. I sighed and tap my head. "Am I crazy? Why did I stare at him?" I unbelievably uttered while looking at myself in the mirror.

After taking a quick shower and change my clothes, I went out and saw him at a study table inside the room as he was typing something on his laptop.

I was slowly walking when he speaks.

"Give me my medicine," he said and I almost forgot about it.

"Yes, Sir. One sec," I said and get the medicine from my pouch. I was carrying all his medicines with me.

"Here, Sir," I said and handed him a glass of water. He reached out the water from me and he accidentally holds my hands when he took the water. I looked at him with my eyes wide, but he wasn't paying attention as he was focus on what he was doing.

"What was that? How can a man like him have a smooth hand like a woman?" I confusingly asked myself and looked at my hands. I shook my head and I started to arrange my bed on the floor. There was only one bed inside the room, but I'm a girl scout. I'm always ready and I didn't forget to bring my folded bed. I was arranging my bed when I noticed Mr. Kevin left the room.

"Where could he be?" I asked myself and stood. I saw him on the terrace and he was in a call.

"Mom, what did I tell you? I can take this all my own, you don"t have to help me!" he said calmly, but I saw him fold his fists. As the call ended. I went back to what I was doing and he headed back inside.

"Ms. Tan, get me some drinks there," he said and sat on the sofa. I looked at him and nodded. I went out and looked for a drink. I was walking when I saw Maya. I looked away and walked back, but she calls me.

"Gaia?" she utters and I stopped and smile when I looked at her.

"Maya?" I uttered with a smile.

"Are you here for vacation?" she asked.

"Yes, I am," I answered.

"By the way, I have to go now," I walked and went to the front desk.

"One wine for room 301 please," I said and left.

I went back to the room and saw Kevin looked at me.

"Where's the drink?" he asked.

"It's on the way, Sir. Why don't you call them? They have customer service here," I said and rolled my eyes.

Someone knocks on the door and I went towards it to open it. "Here's the wine, Madam," said the staff and give me the bottle of wine.

I closed the door and went to Mr. Kevin. "Here's the wine, Sir," I said and put the wine on the center table. I walked as I was about to sleep when he talks.

"Drink with me," he utters. I stopped and looked at him. "What is he talking about? Is he playing something with me?" I ask myself.

"I'm no good at drinking, Mr. Kevin,"

"It's okay. Just... stay with me," he said and drank the wine from the wine glass.

This is perfect tho. I was having a hard time while I saw my sister. I had to release the stress I'm feeling. I took the glass and drank all the wine inside it. After drinking it, I feel dizzy.

"Hey, Ms. Tan. Are you okay?" Mr. Kevin asked me and I looked at him and smiles.

"No, I'm not. Why life is so hard?" I said while tearing up.

"Why?"

"I want to go back where I belong."
