19 Blanche

(A/N: Ugh, fine, I'll continue the story, but do-don't think for a second that I'm doing it because I want to. My sister's been pestering me about it all day, and she's getting all mad because I haven't continued it yet. It's not like I care or anything, but if I don't do it, she'll just keep bugging me. So, I guess I'll continue the stupid story.)

---

After the duel, Haku immediately headed home, turning down Tatsuya's invitation to join Erika, Miyuki, Mizuki, and Leo at the nearest café from school.

He had plans to complete his flight magic soon and was also building a company, so he couldn't afford to waste any time.

"Sorry, Erika. Maybe next time," Haku said apologetically.

"Hmmph!" Erika pouted, but Haku just smiled resignedly. He knew it was just Erika being Erika.

"You haven't come home yet," a soft voice behind them said. Mari and Mayumi were walking towards the school gate with their bags.

"No, we were just about to go to a café nearby, senpai," Tatsuya replied.

"Oh, you guys are so sweet. If so, be careful," Mayumi said sweetly, but Haku felt like the greeting was unnecessary and would just drag on.

"Then we'll excuse ourselves, senpai," Miyuki said, bowing politely. They all said their goodbyes, except for Haku who just waved his hand with a small smile.

Haku muttered to himself about how he still had 15 minutes to kill before his ride arrived. Mari and Mayumi overheard him and offered to walk home together, but Haku declined, saying he had a shuttle coming.

"But if you want, I can give Watanabe-senpai a lift," Haku added.

"Ehh, that's fine too," Mari said, while Mayumi pouted again, feeling left out.

Haku noticed her mood change and teased, "Senpai, are you feeling lonely?"

Mayumi blushed and denied it, saying she was just reading a recipe for her bento tomorrow. But when Haku mentioned a nearby waffle cone shop, she perked up and begged him to take her there.

Haku, Mari, and Mayumi walked to the shop, and each ordered their preferred flavor. Haku was feeling sarcastic, saying, "Sigh, quite a great day."

Mari asked, "Were you happy with the duel just now?" while Mayumi looked curious.

"No, not really. When I was out on patrol with Erika earlier, a bunch of senpai started chasing me. I had no idea they were that passionate," Haku said, shaking his head.

Mari burst out laughing. "I warned you, didn't I? You might become their main target, especially if rumors about you and Tatsuya-kun have spread."

Haku let out a long sigh. "Maybe I should find a solution soon."

As if struck by an interesting idea, Mari and Mayumi suggested he join their respective clubs, the bullet shooter or battle board.

"Let's not be too greedy. Haku is already on your committee, right?" Mayumi said with a cold smile.

"That has nothing to do with it," Mari retorted. "I think with Haku's..."

Haku just chuckled and shook his head.

While the two of them were arguing, Haku sat in the middle of them, enjoying his ice cream like a true boss. He couldn't help but think how popular he must be, even in the middle of a heated argument.

"Senpai, let's table this conversation for now, shall we?" Haku stood up from his seat, smiling at Mayumi.

"Of course. Just let me know if you want to continue," Mayumi replied, still a little annoyed.

Haku simply smiled, not wanting to commit to anything that might become troublesome later on.

Suddenly, the sound of an electric motor filled the air, causing Mayumi, Mari, and Mayumi's bodyguard to turn their heads. As they looked on in awe, a sleek black hypersport car approached them. With a unique Y-shaped design and glowing orange rims, the car was a true masterpiece.

(A/N: the design is like Lamborghini millennio terzo.)

"Come on, Senpai," Haku motioned for Mari to get inside the car.

Mari couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by the exotic vehicle. She was a tomboy at heart, but even she couldn't resist the allure of such an expensive car.

As she carefully climbed into the car, Haku chuckled at her behavior.

Like a true gentleman, he held her hand to help her in, making her feel like a princess. Once inside, the car's system automatically closed the door behind her, making her feel even more like royalty.

"See you later, senpai," Haku said to Mayumi, as he pulled out the steering wheel to take control of the car manually.

"E-Eh? Can you drive?" Mari asked, surprised and a little scared.

"Of course. Don't worry," Haku reassured her, gently pressing on the pedal.

As they drove off, Mari couldn't help but feel a little relieved that Haku was a skilled driver.

Nowadays, most vehicles were fully autonomous, and she was worried that Haku might not know how to drive such a fast car.

Suddenly, Haku took out a bracelet that looked like a French flag and placed it on the glass panel between the driver's and passenger's seats.

Mari was surprised by the bracelet, but she knew better than to ask questions. Mayumi had asked her to keep the organization a secret, after all.

Sensing Mari's hesitation, Haku decided to take matters into his own hands.

"Jarvis, find out what this is," he commanded.

At this point, Mari couldn't help but feel like she was in the middle of a spy movie. She couldn't wait to find out what other surprises Haku had up his sleeve.

[Yes Sir]

Mari's eyes widened in surprise at the voice of the man named Jarvis. She had assumed he was human, not an A.I., as his natural-sounding voice was indistinguishable from a human's.

Curiosity burning within her, Mari wondered who Jarvis was, but she didn't have the guts to ask.

"Don't worry," Haku reassured her. "He's someone I know."

Mari's face scrunched up in confusion. "Can you read my mind?"

Haku chuckled. "No, but your expression is too intelligible."

As Mari blushed, Haku smiled at her. Suddenly, his face fell. "Oh no, I think the AI has infected me with bad jokes. I'm so sorry, senpai."

Mari giggled. "It's alright. Your terrible puns are part of your charm."

Haku's smile turned into a grin. "You think so?"

Mari nodded. "In fact, I've been meaning to ask, who exactly is this?"

"Oh, Jarvis? He's just an A.I. assistant I programmed myself."

Mari was impressed. "Wow... you're so talented."

Mari was at a loss for words. Was this really a skill that a high school student possessed? She couldn't help but wonder who he really was.

Haku beamed at her. "Maybe I could teach you a thing or two. Just don't blame me if you become addicted to coding."

Mari grinned. "I'll take my chances."

As they continued to chat, Jarvis interrupted them.

[Sir, I have collected all the data you requested.]

Haku replied, "Show me."

As I let go of the wheel, the car's system engaged autopilot mode, and the vehicle began driving itself.

A hologram screen appeared before us, completely blocking the windshield. Mari's eyes widened as she looked at all the information displayed, while Haku crossed his arms with an unamused expression.

[That bracelet is the symbol of [Egalite], the subsidiary organization of the people's movement organization [Blanche], which is also an anti-magic organization,] Jarvis explained. Mari glanced to her right, and Haku looked at her with a sigh.

After fully hearing Jarvis' explanation, Haku asked, "Does the principal know about this?"

Mari nodded in agreement, then asked, "What are you going to do after knowing all this?" Her question seemed personal, but it really struck a chord with Haku.

He had learned from his experiences in this world that if anyone tried to fuck him, he would make sure they paid for it.

Haku's eyes turned cold, and his killing intent began to seep out.

Mari gasped and wondered what was happening, but she realized that the seat heater was running perfectly.

Haku let out a long breath, feeling the tension leave his body.

As we arrived in Shinjuku, the car system announced our arrival with a robotic voice.

[We have arrived at Ms. Watanabe's apartment,] it said, interrupting Haku's evil smile and killing intent.

The car stopped smoothly, and the passenger door opened, revealing the bustling streets of Shinjuku.

Mari winked and tilted her head. "Looks like we've arrived," she said with an awkward smile.

losing the mood to be dramatic, he turned his attention to the U.I. update, Jarvis had to make.

[I'll fix it, sir.]

Jarvis said it apologetically.

---

Haku didn't return home; instead, he decided to check the building where his new company's headquarters was located.

As he stepped out of the car, he was greeted by the towering presence of the 100-story building that he had acquired after the Dahan incident.

"I hope it's sturdy enough," he muttered to himself.

According to the system, the building could withstand shocks of over 10 magnitudes, but Haku wanted to be sure.

He scanned the entire 100-story building using his elemental sight, a superpower ability that allowed him to see things beyond the limits of human perception. In a matter of seconds, he had processed every detail of the building, from the foundation to the roof.

It was a truly inhuman feat that left him unfazed. Unlike normal magicians, Haku didn't experience any physical or mental fatigue from using his powers.

As he entered the building and began his work, he relied solely on robots for maintenance since he didn't have any employees yet. He also made constant improvements to every technology he had developed, constantly pushing the boundaries of what was possible.

But what he was really interested in was Howard Stark's diary. He had been impressed by the theoretical experiments outlined in the diary and believed that, given the energy principle, nothing was impossible.

Time passed by in a blur as Haku lost himself in his work. He was so immersed in his research that he didn't even realize the time until he glanced at the clock and saw that it was already three in the morning.

"Shit! It's already morning," he cursed under his breath.

As he got up from his chair, he caught sight of the tri-colored bracelet that he had forgotten in his haste to start working.

---

Tatsuya and Miyuki watched the news screen in front of them and froze as they read the headline:

"Newly formed Yuki Magitech releases revolutionary Flying Magic..."

Tatsuya felt a sense of shock and disbelief wash over him. He had been working on a similar project, but he never expected someone to beat him to it, especially not a newly formed company. His mind raced as he tried to process what the fuck is going on?

"Onii-sama..."

As Miyuki voiced her disbelief, Tatsuya remained silent, lost in his thoughts. How did Yuki Magitech manage to develop and release this technology so quickly? Were they working with someone else? Did they have access to resources that he didn't?

The news of the flying magic technology spread like wildfire throughout the world, and Tatsuya knew that this would change everything.
