The novel "South of River Screen" is a gripping detective thriller set against the backdrop of contemporary America. It follows the enigmatic Homicide Captain Joe Harper and renowned psychiatrist Dr. Adam Kane. Their paths cross in a chilling case of unnatural death amongst psychiatric patients. Joe discovers that Adam is the adopted son of his late mentor, a decorated police detective who died under mysterious circumstances labeled a "traffic accident." For years, Joe has been investigating the case in secret, making no progress as those in the know remain silent. Deliberately, Joe tries to get close to Adam, but Adam seems indifferent towards his foster father's memory. As the investigation progresses, it appears to engulf them both into an abyss with no end. A key informant in a decade-old case, known as the "June 15th case," is murdered, with evidence pointing to Adam as the prime suspect. Duty-bound, Joe arrests Adam. However, as Adam faces danger repeatedly, Joe cannot suppress his deeply buried affection for him, which becomes a torrent of emotion. "You must realize what it means to run at a time like this," Joe says, as Adam feels the chill of the handcuffs around his wrist. "Stay put while I search you," Joe's voice is cuttingly cold. "Explain in three sentences why you ran," Joe demands. "You've tried to find out what I want, I've told you everything now, does that change anything?" Adam asks with a bitter smile. "I can't let you go," Joe states, his voice devoid of warmth. The story intertwines the lives of two strong, elite individuals in a metropolitan setting where love and duty clash amidst suspenseful mysteries. Their roles as a Homicide Captain and a Psychiatrist challenge them to navigate the complex moral landscape of a society governed by law.

Harry Potter & The Mirror Of Noitcelfer

We’ve all heard of The Mirror of Erised. An ancient, ornate mirror with clawed feet and a gold frame inscribed with the phrase “Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.” The writing engraved on the frame of the mirror is supposedly in a foreign and probably dead language, but if you look closely it says “I show not your face but your heart's desire” backwards, with the spaces rearranged. The mirror shows the most desperate desire of a person's heart, a vision that has been known to drive men mad. But have you heard of the Mirror of Noitcelfer? Said to be created at the same time as the Hallows, the mirror has never been seen but stories warn of the power it holds. Said to be an dark archaic mirror that can change forms, the tales caution of how it taints even the purest of hearts and turns them cold. Its original form is said to be encircled by a frame of threadlike strands of silver, interlaced together in a floral arrangement, with places in the polished glass surface blemished black. “Niht iwnoi tce lfer ehtt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.” ••••••••• Written from the perspective of Jade — a Potterhead — who manages to enter the wizarding world and see the events we all know unfold herself. But the stories doesn’t go as we remember... In fact, the series changes drastically with the point of view Jade sees it from. How you might ask? Read to find out. ••••••••• Completely AU! [Cross-published on Wattpad under the same account name.] ••••••••• This book will have irregular updates and periods of barely any at all. However, I assure you that I will complete this novel even if it take me 3 years. I hope that you will support me in this adventure and enjoy being brought into our wonderful Wizarding World from another perspective. Yes, the story is NOT preplanned so the plot is a work in progress but I have an idea of where I want to go. You may see that previous chapters get updated, this is usually to fix typos and edit. If I change a section or add a new section I will inform you all so that you may be up to date and not lost if any new information comes up. Please bare with me. I have a lot of exams for the next two years and I do not wish to fail them. Thank you for being understanding and for all the support. I really did not expect it!

For he had seen, through the eyes of the CREATOR, the horrible future his failure that day, had secured for humanity. Only the destruction of the 'Fallen' could assuage the CREATOR's wrath and avert the certain horrors of the revealed future. Yet he attempted what had never been before done-have the CREATOR reverse his verdict. Muno, much loved by the CREATOR and all for his devotion and integrity, dropped to his knees in the howling wilderness: With wings rent from despair and his luminance dimmed by his heartbreaking failure to fulfil the CREATOR's demand... He prayed a desperate prayer and awoke into the revealed horrible future... 'Abba Father! Plenteous in mercy...' He exclaimed. 'You have given me a chance at redemption. I shall prove my fealty and strength to you in the battle foretold. I shall yet raise an army for good, from the "Offsprings of the Fallen", all is not lost.' Muno literally could taste evil in the air; this world he had awoken to had little goodness in it. Danger lurked precariously over an unsuspecting people. He failed the CREATOR once before, he was thus determined, that this chance at redemption would not be lost, regardless of the Beguiler, his army of the 'Fallen' and their offsprings. 'I must seek out the "Offsprings of the Fallen"... ' He muttered. How was he to know them? For they appeared like regular humans from the vision shown him. 'Anyways, with this much evil in the air, they'd make an appearance, sooner than I am ready.' He reckoned. Nonetheless, Muno knew this much about the 'Offsprings of the Fallen'... They were the result of sexual relations between the 'Fallen' Watcher Angels and the daughters of men and so, they carried the 'Blood of the Mighty Ones'-the ELOHIM. From the future foretold, they possessed supernatural abilities as a consequence of the blood in their veins. Abilities harnessed by the Beguiler and his 'Fallen', for the battle foretold in the vision of the future Muno had seen. Muno's mandate and purpose were clear: He would, by all means, make these damned offsprings a force for good. For the 'Blood of the Mighty Ones' possessed a greater propensity for good-same blood flowed in his veins. First, he would have to deal with the imminent evil hanging over Victoria Island-the location of his rebirth. And then proceed to find those who shared his blood nomenclature. He had learned from the vision he had seen, that the science of humans described his blood and that of the 'Offsprings of the Fallen', as the 'Rh Negative' specimen. 'Driver! Driver!! Why have we stopped moving?' A panic-stricken lady asked, from the rear of the bus Muno awoke in. By this time, several vehicles had come to an abrupt halt. The sun rapidly retreated into the clouds and surrendered the day to unwanted darkness. Then, there was silence... a ghastly silence that was as loud, as it was silent. Suddenly screams pierced the still air and a stampede broke out amongst passengers, who had by this time alighted their vehicles. A foot race of death had begun...
