1 Reborn

As Karn opened his eyes again, he found himself floating in the middle of darkness, where he couldn't see anything, and only darkness was present.

"Where am I?" he wondered aloud.

Suddenly, a very small golden light appeared out of nowhere in front of Karn. Before Karn could do anything, the golden light entered his body, and he lost consciousness.

Don't know how much time had passed, Karn opened his eyes again only to see a blue sky filled with clouds.

"Where am I?" he muttered, his voice barely audible against the backdrop of nature.

How is this possible for me to be alive?" he wondered aloud, his mind reeling with confusion.

"Didn't I die because of cancer in the hospital?" he questioned, grappling with the surreal reality unfolding before him.

Suddenly, he notices something peculiar: when he tries to speak, only the sound "babbling" emerges from his mouth.

Karn tries to speak again, but only "babbling" escapes his lips.

Attempting to move his body, he discovers he can't. Instead, he notices he's being carried in one direction, akin to a river's flow.

Suddenly, Karn noticed one more thing: his body. Yes, his body. Karn realized that he was inside the body of a 6-month-old baby, floating in the middle of the river inside a basket.

"What the hell... is happening?" Karn exclaimed, dumbfounded by the bizarre turn of events.

"Didn't I die in the hospital because of cancer? Then what am I doing here?" Karn questioned, his mind swirling with confusion and disbelief.

"Did I transmigrate like those protagonists in the novels I read in my previous life, where after transmigrating, the main character gained a golden finger and enjoyed their life fully?"

"Noooooo... No," Karn exclaimed, his disbelief palpable.

"Really? How is this even possible? Surely enough, it's just my imagination before I die," Karn said as he closed his eyes again, waiting for the illusion to end.

Karn waited for some time and opened his eyes again, only to see the same scene as before.

"Then this is not an illusion (Maya)," he muttered in disbelief.

"Holy shit. Did I really transmigrate like those protagonists?" Karn exclaimed, his mind reeling with the implications of his situation.

" Hell yeah... Here... eeeee," he added, his thoughts racing with excitement and trepidation.

"Then where am I, and where is the golden finger?" Just as Karn said this, he heard an emotionless voice in his mind.

"[Ding], System is activating..."

"[Activating...]"

"[10%... 20%... 50%... 99%]"

"[Ding], Sign-In System Activated."

"[Ding], Congratulations to the host for activating the Sign-In System."

Karn stared into the sky as golden-colored windows appeared in front of him, and he was stunned, saying, "Golden finger."
