31 The Path Of Solace*

(He's back!)

(Warning! Cliffhanger ahead!)

Karna's P.O.V,

I am Karna...

The child of Maa Ganga, Maa Radha and PitaShri Adiratha...

I... once longed for the strength to defy others...

To get acknowledgement from the ones who insulted me, belittled me for my caste...

But...

That hasn't turned into my present...

I should... focus on my goal...

In this life, I am blessed with two lovely Mothers! Two fathers who deeply cared about me!

I have a brother (Aarav), a good friend in the form of Vrushali!

World has granted most of my wishes.

So, I don't really need strength. It's not necessary for me to become a warrior. I can simply become an obedient son and live a peaceful life with my parents, Right?

Now, Is there really a need to entangle myself within the chaos of Vijaya Samhita?

However...

It raises a question inside me.

Suyodhana, my best friend from the initial life, shall I leave him amidst the threat of the Pandavas?

He, who had supported me at my lowest, will I let him suffer alone?

For the sake of my current family's smile, will I have to sacrifice the happiness of my true friend?

Definitely not!

I will not let him suffer again!

But, it's not something that can be accomplished easily. After all, Suyodhana is the incarnation of Asura Kali-the ruler of Kalyuga.

[Note: Incarnation/ Avatar mustn't be confused with the deity itself. An Incarnation has their own thought process and unique selves. It is true that they originate from the same being but aren't humans the same. The only difference lies in the character and inherited qualities.]

Though he will not have the same will as that of Kali, he will inherit some of the bad* qualities of Kali.

[Note: Suyodhana isn't born yet.]

Such as: Pride, Greed, lust and Envy of Kali. Despite the existence of these sins, he respected his parents and elders. He remained true to his words. He befriended me, a Suta, when I was nothing before the eyes of the world.

Furthermore, he was a good brother. Suyodhana had never abused his brothers, the ninety nine Kauravas-the Asuras born as Humans.

Additionally, the War at Kurukshetra was a grand scheme orchestrated by Niyati, Shri Hari Vishnu, and Kali.

Everyone of them had their own thoughts aside from Niyati. She was just following the commands of Maa Shakti.

Shri Hari Vishnu wanted to cleanse the Asuras disguised as humans in Dvapara yuga and possibly re-establish Dharma. Or, at least leave something to guide the humans of Kali Yuga (Shri mad Bhagavad Gita).

Kali wished nothing more than the early arrival of his own period (Kalyuga). To make this happen, he bewitched many individuals from the whole Aryavarta. His grand plan was to completely detach the influence of the Celestials from the World.

Fortunately for Humanity, he failed miserably. Or... the world might have met its end at an early date.

I, Karna, already knew too much about the future events, along with the stories of most of the characters. As a listener and reader, I was deeply affected by the miserable lives of many of them. Among them, two peoples are beyond saving i.e. Sisupala-the cousin of Shri Krishna or Jaya-the gatekeeper of Vaikuntha, the realm of Lord Narayan and Dantavakra-another cousin of Shri Krishna and Jaya's Brother.

Their reason for existence was to attain Moksha by their Lord Narayan. I can't do anything about it because saving them will be detrimental for their very being.

I won't interfere in their path of solace.

Now, before confronting the great Lord themselves, I will need something...

It is strength! Higher than my former self and an Unparalleled wisdom!

And, I don't need them to defeat Shri Krishna or other deities but for another thing. It is pure foolishness to overcome Trimurtis with strength and wisdom.

Instead of that, they can only be conquered by pure and selfless devotion!

The Trimurtis always denied Asuras Immortality and yet, they granted it to Shri Hanuman, Maharishi Parshuram, Maharishi Ved Vyasa, Maharishi Markandeya, King Vibhishana, Maharishi Kripacharya, King Mahabali until now.

[Note: Ice Monarch, is it enough to clear your doubt?]

Why?

Isn't it because Niyati desired so and their devotion to lord was selfless?

Take Shri Hanuman for example, He never desired for anything other than to worship Shri Ram and yet he was granted immortality.

These tales are the precious lessons for us to never repeat the mistakes of others. There are huge differences between selfishness and selflessness.

Therefore, my wish can't be realized through normal means. I need some other way...

...

Even after analyzing for ten days, I couldn't find the right path. But,

However, I can't remain entangled with these thoughts!

I need some simulation!

Therefore...

"Come at me!"

Extra: The Horror (3)

[Note: It is a super short skit.]

[Note: Skip it if you like. It's just fun, unrelated to the plot or story.]

Until...

An normal Afternoon,

Knock-Knock!

"Who's there?"

Knock-Knock!

"Argh! I'm coming!"

The Sleeping Scholar was awakened by loud sounds of doors.

He hurriedly went to open the door, thinking that some kid might be playing a prank like last time.

Clang!

Thud!

Thud!

However, Before he could open the door, the people outside broke the doors, revealing ten middle-aged farmers looking at the scholar with crazed expressions!

"H-!!!"

Bang!

The Scholar wanted to scream but he was silenced by a heavy punch from behind!

When he was losing his consciousness, he tried to see behind him. Sadly, aside from brown boots, he couldn't find the attacker.

After which, he remembered nothing...

A few hours later,

"Hmm? Where a-!"

The Scholar wakes up amidst the crowd of the villagers gathered at their previous place. The sheer amount of their crazy stares shocked the heel out of the Scholar!

He was at a loss of words! His body turned cold and he swore, he sweated a bucket at that time!

"Write."

"Write!"

"Write!"

...

Before the Scholar can process the sudden events, the crowd started shouting at the top of their lungs!

"How can I write amid this silence?! Can you just shut up!"

When the scholar regained his normal sentience, he shouted at the top of his lungs, successfully silencing the crowd.

As if his words worked, someone passed a book, a feather, an inkpot, a table and chair equipped with a glass of mango juice.

The Scholar knew that he can't escape this crazed mass without fulfilling their request. Hence, for the sake of his dear life, he kept writing for an hour before finishing the first chapter and passed it to the village chief.

During his ordeal, he kept reciting the sentence, {Sorry Mother and father to leave you at city! I will soon return!}

Following which, he wanted to rest a bit. But...

He was about to close the book and someone shouted!

"WHY IS THERE A (EMAIL PROTECTED ****) CLIFFHANGER!"

"Hiii! Why are you poking my backside?!"

"Please d-don't! D-don't throw rocks at me?!"

"I'm sorry! I apologize! I will never write a cliffhanger!!!"

"Mommy! Please save me!"

"AHHHHH!"

...

After which, only the miserable pleas of the Scholar ranged in the village...

...

To be continued...
