138 Hidden Title

Awful things happen to wizards who meddle with time…'

The words of an older Hermione from his past life came to mind. As he saw the familiar portal standing there.

'That explains what happens to Wizards or rather people who meddle with Time.'

Moments later 3 more Rectangles appeared out of thin air a few meters apart from the first one and people stepped out of each of them. Four Soldiers clothed in dark combat suits with protective armor on their chests, arms, and feet. Each of them wore a dark helmet with a number printed on them. On their shoulders was a circular patch, it was orange in color and depicted an Hourglass. Written on it were the words 'Time Variance Authority' at the top, and at the bottom 'For all time - Always'.

'Damn, Loki is D. B. Cooper one of the most wanted men on earth. Shit, this isn't important right now! Am I in the MCU or the Marvel Comics? Or what is the TVA doing in my Universe? At least I should be part of a Universe belonging to a Sacred Timeline monitored by them since they look exactly like the TVA of the MCU.' He realized unsure of where in the Multiverse he lived on. That was the least of his concerns at the moment.

The Soldiers spread out analyzing the Situation while surrounding Matthew with their Time Sticks pointed at him, combat-ready for any unexpected movement. "Appears to be a standard sequence violation." Said the dark-skinned female Hunter with the number B-15 on her helmet. She looked at the Device in her hand while slowly stepping forward. "Branch is growing at a stable rate and slope. A variant identified!"

"Sorry who are you?" asked Matthew trying to lower their guards as he was unsure of their true capabilities. He saw the show Loki in his old life and knew they managed to take him out without trouble. Something he was pretty sure he couldn't do at the moment, after all, Loki was not only a powerful Asgardian but also one of the most powerful magic users in the MCU or the Marvel Comics. He had no real way of countering their time manipulation besides catching them off-guard.

"On behalf of the Time Variance Authority, I hereby arrest you for crimes against the Sacred Timeline." She continued B-15 not bothered by his question, as if she did this countless times, which she probably did. "Hands up. You are coming with us." She demanded as her companions prepared their Weapons.

"I truly am sorry. But I don't know who you are or what this is about. Or how you even entered Hogwarts, but I am sure we can talk about it like civilized people." Tried Matthew while fishing for time so he can come up with a way out of this Conflict. Even if he fled they would just Reset this whole Timeline which would mean the end of his existence so or so. Even if he killed them they would just send someone else to reset the Timeline. This only left him with one option, survive and adapt.

'But first I need to gather some information so I can adapt.'

"There is nothing to talk about the variant. Last Chance!" warned B-15.

"I have no time for this. Get out of my way so I can take care of Tom Riddle and help an Innocent Person. Now get out of my way." Said Matthew as he stepped in direction of Ginny and the Diary.

'Be ready Sarah! Gather all possible Data on their technology and Time manipulation.' He requested at the same time.

Like Matthew expected they didn't care about anything in this Timeline, B-15 raised her Times Stick and put a Time dilatation field around him without any further warning as she punched him in the face.

'Ouch. For Science!' thought Matthew in real-time.

"You are now moving at 1/16th speed." Explained B-15 as she watched Matthew flying backward from the impact of the Punch in Slow Motion since the speed around him is slowed down as he experienced the pain, "but feeling all that pain in real-time."

[Analyzing Time Field… gathering Data. Not enough Data for Countermeasures.]

She put a Collar of the TVA around his Neck before Matthew landed on the stony floor of the Corridor. Two of the other Hunters approached him and picked him up as B-15 ordered, "Reset the Timeline."

[Beep! Detecting magic and energy interference. The Collar around the host's neck is preventing magic from leaving his body. No Spell casting is possible. Analyzing Situation and preparing possible Counter Measures.]

'I am sorry. In order to save one person, I doomed a whole new Universe. But why? In the Original Books and Movies, Hermione survived and only got petrified. Shouldn't this be part of the Sacred Timeline? Was it because I killed the Basilisk? Or is it something else?' Pondered Matthew while he got dragged through one of the Portals to the TVA, 'I will find a way to correct it. But first I need more information and to survive. Kang the Conqueror is an extremely dangerous foe. There is no way I can act as blindly as before.'

The last thing he saw was that the last hunter activated a reset Charge he placed on the floor, and this newly created Timeline began to disintegrate before the Scenery around him changed as he passed through the Portal.

They arrived at the entrance area of the TVA Office. The Floor and Walls were orange-colored and gave off a rather otherworldly vibe. On the ceiling were many circular light spots while also being Orange in color. The whole place felt futuristic but at the same time 80s, which was extremely strange for Matthew. But it looked just like in the TV show.

Behind them, the Time Portal closed as he was led into the Lobby area where a circular orange reception desk with a hole was. On it stood a Computer and Casey the same Asian Clerk that handled Loki was sitting behind it.

'So it's hopefully the TVA pre-Loki and Sylvie killing 'Kang' or 'He who remains'. Since Casey is the Clerk who spent his whole Life behind the Desk. How does time even work here? This place exists outside time.' Pondered Matthew, 'If the Wizarding World is part of the MCU, then does that mean that the events of Loki only happen after the Time Heist? Time Travel is just Brain fuck…'

"Where am I?" asked Matthew as they approached the Reception.

"Shut up." Replied B-15 as she pushed him forward and took his wand from his wrist holster. She didn't register his Pouch.

'Good the Notice-me-not Charm is still working. This means it's the Collar that is suppressing my Magic and not this place in general. So any enchantments I place on things will be working here.' Realized Matthew, as he secretly dropped his Pouch onto the Floor where it would remain hopefully undetected.

"Hello, ma'am." Greeted Casey awkwardly as he registered them.

"Put this in evidence!" B-15 placed his wand on the desk before pushing him forward.

"Can you at least tell me what it is? A fancy stick?" shouted Casey behind them as they were leaving.

"My Wand! Take good care of it I will be needing it later." Replied Matthew annoyed still trying to come up with possible escape routes.

Meanwhile, B-15 just snorted amused.

"We will see!" she added before she pushed him through an automatic metal door, that looked a bit like for an elevator.
