Harrassment

In a darkly lit room with only a girl sitting before a computer screen. The ending credits were reflected off the lens of her glasses.

"Phew."

She sat back in her chair and sighed.

"It's finally over."

As soon as she said this she received a message from the game developer. They had practically harassed her to play the game and now they were harassing her for a review. When did they sleep?

"I absolutely abhor harem otome games, at first glance, anyone would take this for just that. Incorporating the magical girl and RPG elements made it a lot more fun than I initially anticipated. Even though the game forces a love interest on you in the end, I like the fact that the side characters were romanceable. The leveling up, collecting cute outfits, building your own base, the conversations with the townsfolk, and even just the simulation of actually living in this game's universe made me nearly forgive the game for that. The graphics are of high quality, so much you forget which world you're living in. For that, I am grateful to have played such a game. Most harem-type games tend to focus on relationships and clothing. For this and this reason alone, I give this game, four stars." Su Yawen, posted her review, and stretched.

Then she went to bed. She had an exam tomorrow.

The next day Su Yawen munched on her sandwich feeling a bit depressed as she sat on the school rooftop overlooking the blue sky.

She had gone to sleep late so she had been worried but, turns out the questions on the exam were nothing that had been taught in class or even in the textbooks. Many of her classmates decided to petition against the teacher and she wanted to join them, it's just that she had work starting in a couple of hours at a local bakery and she wanted to recharge to last through her long shift today.

She wanted to sleep but... that game developer kept messaging her!

Having had enough, she read their message which asked if she would be interested in playing the game again should there be a sequel.

What the heck? Her recharge time was interrupted for this?

"If romance wasn't forced, and the characters were given more freedom to roam the world, maybe. Sometimes just fighting all the time and trying to farm for materials to build your base got boring. I would be willing to play of course, if you made a few changes. Otherwise, my answer is no."

Seeing that the developer didn't immediately respond this time, Su Yawen laid back on the ground and closed her eyes. She had already fallen asleep by the time her phone pinged. There was a response.

[Alright, launching MagiGirl STUCK 2!]

When Su Yawen opened her eyes she was falling from the school roof.

"What the- help! Somebody!" She screamed as she plummeted towards the ground but no one seemed to pay her much mind.

Expecting her face to meet concrete pavement she braced herself but what happened instead was she dived into a rift in space that suddenly opened up before her. It closed as soon as it swallowed her whole.

The college students roaming the campus continued on with their daily lives having both heard and seen nothing out of the ordinary.
