It was only a week ago when they were given a notice, that the land deed had been changed to the hands of a new saintess.

Even though the village was sterilized, dangerous monsters still lurked in the area, because of this many villagers didn't bother traveling. They were safe so long as they stayed within the village's territory, limiting business, damning themselves to poverty.

For Rubert it was like being placed in a prison.

"She's done it again." Mr. Hi reported to his master who watched the village swarm around the eel like ants to food.

His master in question released a breath.

His aide muttered.

"We offered to donate but she refused us, is this her way of retaliating?"

His master's face twitched at the memory.

The saintess Xana looked surprised at his offer. "If you want to donate do it for the village, not for me. I don't need a human's charity." Her clear dark blue eyes that blinked at him were indifferent.

A saintess. That's right she was a saintess. She wasn't his Qiang . So...why was he more drawn to this one? He should be scouring the Earth looking for her...

"Not for that. For hurting you this time. I just wanted you to have difficulty walking to get the doctor to visit."

Lilac pursed her lips.

Seeing that she refused to look at him he walked around and picked up her foot and rubbed it.

"Are you possessed?"

"I know it may not seem like it but my intention wasn't to hurt you that time."

Lilac closed her eyes.

"I already know that you only care about your own feelings. I understand that fully well. So stop touching me."

While rubbing her foot Klive's eyes narrowed.

"..." He didn't dispute her claim.

In the game Klive wanted her as his wife, not a saintess. Their sarcastic exchanges and negative interactions unfurled into a relationship where he could no longer continue to live an ordinary life without clashing with his nemesis. The moment her player character picked up on his twisted feelings she tried distancing herself.

She's a bit disappointed to report that aside from that night and that second time. The following days have been fairly peaceful and Klive has spent his free moments literally trying to kiss up to her.

He kissed her foot.

"What are you doing now?!"

He kissed her ankle then her shin, she snatched her foot away and kicked him in the chest.

He lied there on the ground.

"Get up."

"You'll only feel better if you fuck me up just as badly."

Lilac stared. She wanted to tell him otherwise but... her gaze gravitated to his nether region.

She slipped her foot back into her heel and lifted it up.
