*February 1989*

Today was Saturday and Sebastian was getting ready to go to the library.

"Sebastian" as he was walking down the halls he ran into a housemate.

"Hey Jasper, how's it going?" greeted Sebastian.

"I'm fine, are you going to the library?" he replied as he stood next to him.

"Yeah."

Jasper Hawthorne is a boy the same age as Sebastian, they shared a dorm and had a better relationship.

"Did you complete the potions homework?" asked Jasper.

"Do you want to borrow the homework?" said Sebastian looking at him with a smile.

"You know perfectly well how bad I am at potions..." continued Jasper looking horrified. He really was bad at them, so bad that he had become a recurring target for Snape.

I guess it doesn't matter how smart you are, if you're bad at it you're bad at it, period.

"When we get to the library" sighed Sebastian.

"Thank you! You're the best" he commented happily, making his earlier scared face completely disappear.

"I know right" he replied as they reached the library.

When they got to the library Sebastian pulled out his homework and lent it to her, after all with the spell he had created the assignments would do themselves. Of course he still practiced his writing and did the odd assignment... but mostly it was the short, quick ones to write. Jasper had once asked him how he makes all the assignments so fast, to which he replied that it was magic.

The system has the ability to copy and Sebastian usually uses it to copy all the books in the library, and then to learn he has two ways. The first way is like downloading information and learning it directly, this is the fastest and most accurate way to learn but Sebastian still likes to learn by himself, so he doesn't use this way much. The second way is that he creates a kind of mental library and in it Sebastian can read the books faster than in reality, the time in the mental library seems to go slower.

The main reason for doing this is that his current mind is more intelligent, if he had the intelligence of his previous life he would not dare to waste so much time in activities like these. Besides people like Ronald Weasley and others were able to get through the years, Hogwarts is not a difficult school. So he prefers to use the system to learn other extracurricular skills like alchemy.

"Alchemy..." suddenly Sebastian had an idea.

The system can copy knowledge instantly from what it touches... so if it touches the philosopher's stone... even if you can't learn how to make it, but just learning the principle or secondary knowledge would be enough. The philosopher's stone is the pinnacle of alchemy, any information or process is high level knowledge.

To test his conjecture he quickly took his wand to test it.

[Gathering manufacturing method estimated time... 2 hours 27 minutes.]

"It was possible indeed" Sebastian suddenly thought of many things that could be useful.

The philosopher's stone, Harry's cloak, Dumbledore's wand and other artifacts with lost knowledge. It just so happens that he knows where each and every one of them are, he also knows where the Ravenclaw crown is.

"Looks like I need to pay more attention to the system... I'm not using it to its full potential" he thought as he sighed.

*Time jump, end of the school year, June 1989*.

The school year was coming to an end and all the students were excited to finish school and go home, others were more nervous about the exams. Sebastian was sure he would pass with the highest score... he had finally succumbed to temptation... he had used his system to collect all the school knowledge taught at Hogwarts in the last 50 years. He also noticed that the program hadn't changed much, at most the one that had changed the most was the defense against the dark arts course, it was much more complete and practical 50 years ago than now.

"On this vacation we will create something for the body" Sebastian said to himself as he looked at his properly packed suitcase.

Sebastian's body was fit and even if something was heavy he could move it with his mind, but he still wanted to have a strong and capable body... so this vacation he decided to use the system to create a magical training routine for the body. He thought it should be doable, at least the mages of Kamar-Taj train their body.

"Then with that I'll have a workout for the mind and body... only the soul is missing."

Sebastian knew that in the marvel world there were infinity stones, the stones were: mind, soul, reality, power, time and space. So he thought that even if mind and soul were related they were also independent forces, so if he wants to get to the top he will have to train these three primary forces.

"Seb, we have to go to the farewell party, stop brooding all the time" said Jasper entering the bedroom, this had been a recurring theme.

Sebastian felt embarrassed for always going around having mental monologues.

"Fine, let's go" Sebastian replied.

The exams were over and Sebastian had finished as the top student of the year, but no one seemed to care much about the results of the exams. The students were more interested in the vacations.

When they arrived at the dining hall the room was full of students and most of the teachers were at the staff table, after finding a place to sit they started talking to each other.

"What do you plan to do this vacation?" asked Jasper.

"I don't know, maybe start playing sports or reading books" Sebastian answered.

"As serious and bitter as ever" reprimanded Jasper. His friend always walks around serious and stares at nothing from time to time, he really doesn't know what to do with himself.

"...."

Shortly after that the farewell party began, during dinner Sebastian let himself relax and spent it talking with his other acquaintances at the table.

Thus ended his first year at Hogwarts.
