20 Chapter 20 – Battle of Hydro City

Zmeya's POV

"Oh? They are one the move!" I exclaimed happily as I watched Magiya Emerald flying towards the Evil Magical Girl followed by Vega who was now acting as Magiya Raylight.

The name of Magical Girl transformation was chosen by the Giants Patron, similar to their name. For the main character though, because the Giant's Patron that she made a contract with was special, she was able to name her transformation as she wished.

It was to hide the identity of the Giant that she made a contract with. If the Council knew about the Giant that she made a contract with, they will surely go crazy to get her to their base and lock her inside.

That was why, for Vega's safety, her Patron allowed her to choose her name by herself. Enough of that though, Magiya Emerald and Magiya Raylight stopped above the Evil Magical Girl and the horde of Beasts in the distance.

"Let's take a closer look." I said as I stood up in the sky and put my chair in my inventory.

"Yes, Master." Answered Zayats.

We flew towards them and stopped right above the three of them. They noticed our presence. Magiya Raylight and the Evil Magical Girl were smiling, thinking that they got help from us.

I took out the chair from my inventory and sat on it again as Zayats stood behind me with a scary expression. Because they stopped what they are doing because of me, I spoke to them.

"Well, continue what you do. Also, bandaged girl."

The Evil Magical Girl looked at me and tilted her head.

"What?" Asked the Evil Magical Girl with a deep tone.

She was not cute at all. If she tried to tidy her hair and talk a little clearer then she will surely become cute.

"Before you fight, tell This one your name." I spoke in a haughty tone as I looked down on her.

The Evil Magical Girl clearly didn't like it, while the two Magical Girls on the Good Side were clueless at what I did. She narrowed her eyes and said.

"Mally."

I smiled smugly at her. That name was her real name, no doubt about it. Even Zayats didn't bother using her Magical Girl name when she meet me because that was the custom of the Magical Girl on the Evil Side.

They killed their Patron, they hate them, so they won't bother using the name that their Patron gave them.

"Mally, was it? Amuse This one. If you can't do that, then die."

The Evil Magical Girl, Mally, finally realized.

"You are not a friend. Why are you here?"

Magiya Emerald also looked at me suspiciously. I didn't mind at all, as their gestures were funny in itself. But, it seems my servant thought otherwise.

"You dare to ask my Master like that?!" Zayats shouted at both of them as she let out her Magia and surrounded the area like when she fought me at that mountain.

Magiya Raylight was almost collapsed as she had difficulty breathing. Magiya Emerald used her own Magia to fend of Zayat's Magia. Mally was doing her best to stand up and control the Beasts behind her.

I glanced at Zayats without a smile on my face.

"Zayats, sit."

The Magia that surrounded the area instantly dispersed and Zayats sat on the sky in seiza as sweat dropped from her face.

I used one of the authorities from our contract to order Zayats. She will not be able to deny my order if I imbued my words with Magia.

Zayats looked at me with a frightened expression combined with pleasure and said.

"M-Master, p-please forgive me."

I ignored Zayats, but as soon as I turned away from her, I heard a gasp from her and then a muffled moan.

This girl, although she was a masochist, I didn't think that she was this severe in her Magical Girl form.

I looked at the three Magical Girls that looked at us with a dumbfounded expression.

"What? Mally, did you not try to destroy this city? What are you waiting for? And Magiya Emerald, you said you wanted to protect this city. Why did you just stand there and let the Evil Magical Girl in front of you try to destroy your city? Just fight, idiot."

The three, no, two of them finally snapped out of their thought and looked at each other intensely. Magiya Raylight was still confused with what happened.

"Magiya Raylight! Just ignore that Zmeya, for now, focus on the threat in front of us!" Shouted Magiya Emerald as she gathered Magia in her wand.

Magiya Raylight finally snapped out of her thought and gathered Magia in her wand too.

"Yes!"

Mally covered her mouth with her bandaged arm and laugh evilly.

"Kukukuku, attack!" She swung her left hand forward and the Beasts began to attack the city again.

Magiya Emerald began defending the city by throwing emerald's shard toward the Beast, killing some of the small beasts easily.

Magiya Raylight had difficulty forming her attack, but after a few seconds, she was finally able to shoot a light ball toward Mally.

Mally just brushed the light ball that held no attack power with her hand and looked at Magiya Raylight annoyingly.

This was Magiya Raylight's first battle, so she was still inexperienced. Her true first battle was with Garmr that I kill on my first day, maybe some of it was my fault? Hmm, I should give her a tip for battle then, as this was my fault for her to only be able to gather her Magia weakly like that.

"Hey, Magiya Raylight. Don't hesitate to hurt your enemy or you will die, understand?"

Magiya Raylight looked at me with a surprised expression. She certainly wouldn't expect me who was strong to understand her difficulty, but I knew all about her.

The Main Character was a kind soul, she would never hurt the other. However, in this world, if she hesitated a little, her life would be taken. In fact, the players died a few times while playing Magical Giants even though they never hesitated.

This Main Character was not controlled by a player, so her heart was kind unlike the players behind the screen. I understood her lore, and I knew why her attack was weak.

She nodded her head at me and then gathered Magia again on the tip of her wand while Magiya Emerald desperately killed the beasts that reached the barrier.

After a few seconds, Magiya Raylight pointed her wand at Mally and shouted.

"Light Spear!"

The light spear shot forward from Magiya Raylight's wand toward Mally at a fast speed. Even so, the power was still lacking. When it hit Mally who didn't even bother to put up a shield, it just managed to make a scratch at her.

But that was enough to anger Mally who was driven by her desire.

"Youuu!!!" Mally shouted at Magical Raylight as her Magia spilled out from her body.

"Good! A battle needs to be filled with shouts and despair! Entertain This one more, oh Magical Girls!" I shouted to no one in particular as the real battle finally began.
