I got the Brown town resident permit and bought a set of clothes. The shop catered to the ordinary adventurers, so I bought a set of t-shirts and pants and leather shoes. it took me 3 silver for the whole stuff.

Finally, with the reward from Rock and Madam, plus the earning from Earth mana bottle. I had about 45 silver or 4 gold 5 silver.

I said goodbye to Tom and reached home.

I had no possessions in this world. there were a bunch of Earthern utensils and husky mattress on which I slept, so I just came here to activate my system cheats.

I opened the panel.

inactive spells - soul contract, oath, Earth spike.

I could activate 4 of them since I had about 35 silver with me since I was not going to activate compound types like holy or plant magic which were expensive or I could upgrade Earth magic to level 2 and become a real mage.

I decided to get metal magic to become an alchemist. Can't be activated needs, level 2 Earth magic.

What the fuck.

I decided to upgrade the Earth magic skill to lvl 2.

I just felt a stream of particles coming in and had to sit down to take it all in.

My mana bar was going up at rate visible to the naked eye.

The Mana stopped increasing at the 200 points and same was the case for Health bar. I felt my muscles tightening and skin getting sharper.

I tried using my mana to make a earth spike outside my body and it formed instantly. I tried moving it away from me and I could control it in anyway till about 10 metres. After 10 metres, it could only go in the direction the initial force was in.

I could form increase the number of spikes but then they became slower in control since I had to focus on them to move them. I could just form tens of small stone spikes and throw them forward . I tried this attack, it did work but then number of spikes was less than what I had imagined. It was only about 20 small stones. It reduced the size of stones and it became more. it should be due to my mana pool.

But I can do this attack multiple times and blink items with dust. I wanted to experiment more. all the Naruto memories with sand ninjas were coming back to me but I couldn't cause I destruction.

I wanted to try a movement skill with Earth magic to move the area beneath me but it was too slow since it had to activated multiple times due to my less mana.

Like if I wanted to build a stone platform where I was standing, I could do it but it happened in small pauses and seemed a bit scuffed so, I decided to try it when I had enormous mana pool.

I was thinking of what to activate next. Psychic magic could help with me the bloody soul contracts and oaths that were done to my heart. I had 20 silver left.

I activated alchemy level 1.

Loads of information about runes came into my mind. Alchemy seems like software engineering to me. All these lines were nothing but code. I wanted to activate alchemy level 2 but then I decide against it.

I first needed to solve the problem of immediate money. I couldn't bring out products without a care in the world.

I needed to first get enough startup capital before bringing out my products. Me, Bruce as a worker of Madam Svetlana would be chewed out of any products.

I decided to buy rune encryption level 1 and same thing happened again. I learned things like cryptography and mathematics which I couldn't even learn in my last life. It seemed natural to me. The system was amazing.

I activated light magic level 1 and metal magic lvl 1 which I had tried earlier.

My mana bar reached 400 when all of it had finished.

I was more powerful than when I had come to this shack. I decide to take the cloth sheet, pack some clothes and leave for Madam's house.

I looked around for Mike to tell him if he could sell this house for me.

Mike was in his house meditating. I told him about my experience and he was pretty jealous of being able to enter the inner city.

by the nobles. it was not like we were extremely close, plus he had led me to that shady old John, still I asked to sell this house. Maybe, I could salvage some value out of it which I didn't expect.

I saidy goodbyes and left with 5 silver and a few clothes as my belongings. I still had the mana bottle from Blu Inn which felt like a slave contract to me. I wanted to do nothing with that contract.

Now that I had information about alchemy, this bottle seemed like simple stuff. Just a product with combination of 2 mages. A metal mage for a one way valve and ice mana flow to reduce activity of mana, so that it did not become a battery of Samsung note. *\0/*

These bottles were the batteries in themselves built to replace natural spirit stones which were humans earlier got from spirit mines or from beast cores.

I could make one if I tried but needed to buy raw metal from a shop to mold it for alchemy since, I was only a level 1 metal mage and could not create metal yet. Poverty was acute even with a cheat or specially due to this cheat.

Necessity is truly the mother of invention.
