38 Trick 37: Holding up the Globe!

Ace turned his head, only two glowing purple orbs in the hood of pure darkness as an ever-changing voice echoed from it "Please leave the premises."

The people just stood there in shock as Natalie questioned "Who are you?!" Ace didn't answer her and turned to the Drones that were left.

They all turned to Ace in the middle of the crowd.

He looked at the drones and muttered to himself "Oh for fuck's sake…" he slapped his hands together and pulled them apart as his cards appeared, circling around him. The Drones jumped off the stage as Ace threw out a card.

The card exploded into light and created a barrier around the audience as the drones started firing at him. Ace pulled on his cloak and blocked the bullets as he picked out another card, running towards the drones, throwing it out.

It was the Wheel of Fortune card!

The card burst into flames and blasted a hole through a row of drones. He jumped on a drone and threw another card in the air above his head.

It was the Justice card!

The card turned into a giant sword and Ace waved down. The sword flew down, pinning another drone to the ground. Ace waved his hands and the cards created a shield on one side of Ace as he flicked out his wand, saying "Incendio Maxima."

A fireball blasted a Drone flying, smashing into the barrier around the audience before landing on the ground and smoking.

Ace pulled back and the cards came back. He pulled out the Strength Card and slapped it on his chest before punching through a Drone's chest, ripping out the glowing object. The drone fell to the ground and Ace crushed the orb, kicking another Drone, sending it flying.

The other Drones started firing missiles at Ace, who reached his hand out and grasped at the missiles. Unfortunately, only one of them turned to bubbles as the other rockets flew at Ace's head.

Luckily, the Tarot cards created a shield in front of him, blasting Ace flying back as the cards flew towards him, orbiting around him again.

He got up and a card floated in between his hands.

It was the Judgement card!

He clapped his hands together before pulling them apart as a glowing ball of white light appeared. Ace floated up and spread out his hands, white wispy energy emanating from his body.

The ball of white light spun in front of him and beams of white light fired from it, piercing drones all over the place!

Ace turned his head and shouted "Leave!" Pepper was dazed and Natalie grabbed her, running off as the Barriers opened up towards the exit of the Expo. The crowd started running away as the Barrier shattered, turning back into a card and flying back to Ace.

He looked at the dim Hierophant card and snorted, turning his head back to the Drones.

The Strength Card peeled off his body and Ace assembled his cards again, landing back on the ground. There were only around a dozen drones left. They were all the Army Drones. The rifles on their backs locked onto Ace, giving him a sense of crisis. He had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to block these high powered rifles at this close a distance.

Ace drew three cards and slapped the Hanged Man on himself, threw the Devil card in front of him, and held the Tower card in his hand.

A portal opened in front of him and a huge devilish looking creature rose from the ground, snarling at the Drones, covered in scales.

The Drones fired at Ace, but the Devil Creature got in the way, its scales blocking some bullets but managing to be pierced by most of them! It didn't bleed at all and charged at the drones as they continued firing them.

Ace flew into the air with the help of the Hanged Man card and turned invisible thanks to his cloak. The Creature roared and tackled the Drones together, jumping on them, pinning them to the ground.

Ace tossed the Tower card into the pile and flicked his wand out, saying "Protego!" A barrier surrounded the pile as the Tower card exploded violently, blowing a hole and incinerating the drones entirely!

Ace stood in the air and looked around at the other drones, throwing out normal cards that turned into steel in mid air, stabbing into their glowing chest things.

The Devil and Tower cards floated back to Ace as he conjured all his cards in front of him, clasping his hands again while floating back to the ground. The cards disappeared and Ace looked around, seeing no casualties around him.

He smiled to himself and walked out of the presentation area, looking at the rest of the Expo.

He froze as he saw Drones flying around. He whistled and jumped in the air, the newest Nimbus 3000 appeared under him and Ace flew off extremely quickly.

Where did he get this?

The only successful portal magic he had ever done was stealing this broom from a display case from Kamar-Taj!

Ace used the broom like a skateboard and flew through the air chasing after the Drones. He pulled out a wand and flicked it forward, muttering "Deprimo!" One of the Drone had a hole just blow open on its chest before it fell from the sky.

Ace swooped by and grabbed the Drone, crushing it into confetti as he chased the rest.

He looked forward and saw Tony leading Rhodey and the rest of the Drones into a hollow globe. He chased after them and his eyes widened as he saw what Tony was trying to do.

He stopped and dived to the base of the globe, slapping the Strength card on his chest.

The Drones flew into the globe and smashed into the metal continents, all of them exploding other than Rhodey and Tony!

The Globe started moving towards a group of civilians but Ace hopped off his broom and grabbed one of the metal bars, his arm veins swelling as he lifted the giant globe! The Strength Card flickered as Ace pumped more of his magical energy into it for more strength!

His eyes glowed into a violent purple light as his body swelled into a bodybuilder physique! The globe was lifted over his head and Ace groaned as a purple light crackled off his body.

Suddenly, the globe exploded into water, splashing the people instead of crushing them.

Ace stood at the bottom, breathing heavily as the Strength Card fell off his chest, floating back down to the ground like a piece of paper.

Ace grabbed it and twisted his hand, making it disappear.
