2 Leap Frog but VR

Having jumped when the closest small island came close he landed and teetered on the edge. Small rocks scraped from my boots and fell down until he couldn't see them anymore. Once landing he explored the space taking a deep breath. Smelling not grass and wheat but water and wood. Going further into the island there was a small forest weaving through the trees he saw little to no signs of other life being there. Having reached an old animal path he paused to take a breath.

Looking around for danger he saw that it was growing dark. Thinking the word Status the stat screen shows up. The familiar box appears and shows a normal inventory and skill screens (ok for description search "Diablo 3 inventory screen" this should help a bit) in my inventory the 3 coins were added to my money purse and the other items were equipped, The Scythe was added to my weapon slot as a 2 handed weapon with no magic capability's low durability and only +10 dmp +2 reach. Also on my character were my starting gears and the ring.

Other the odd gibberish that appeared again nothing odd was there. "Okay time to go where I smell the water." He groaned a bit while getting up from sitting to long. Max put the worn cloak over his robe giving him a very grim reaper vibe. "Well look at me don't I have a very cool vibe! When I reach a town or something I gotta get a cool skull mask." He spoke aloud now as he walks deeper into the woods the clouds disappear behind him.

"Ha ha, I've done it! The center of the woods, ok game gimmer all the loot!" Saying this Max looked around with an expectant look. *Bing* A red box appears and max's happy face starts to go down a bit. "Wait what is the meaning of thiii-!" The red box is moved aside as a giant crab jumps out of the pond. "AH GAME WHAT HAVE YOU DONE I WANTED LOOT DANG IT STATUS!"

(AYY ok I got some smarts and I fixed the character sheets so now its separate and not just one line!)

"Crap this thing is 11 levels higher than me what do I do?" Max looks at the crab which glares at him as he gets close to the water. "Ok well he looks hostile and he has gotta give good xp. CHARGE come at me you not made sushi roll, Novice Fireball." Upon shouting and a hit on the crab it runs through the water and makes a leaping jump and a small shockwave comes up from the sand.

"Dang this thing is tough. I got to use my game knowledge to make up some cheap strategy that will kill it, flame fist on scythe." Max's hands glow red and orange spiderweb like cracks go up the staff the head became wreathed with fire. "Ha ha this is more like it come over here crab, I'm going to be eating good tonight." While swinging his scythe around the crab backs up as the flames get higher.

*Bing* "New skill developed, Flame Weapon: Cover a weapon in fire and deal more damage. Costs 10 Mana and -1 for every 10 minutes. This skill is boosted by fire affinity, +5 damage +2 fire damage -5 mana cost.

"Sweet this is better than I thought, ok crab your stuff is mine." The crab is now on full retreat, scared of the man in black that burns it. To hide from the barrage of swings the crab tries to jump into the water. "Oh no you don't get back here let me hook your legs." Tripping the crab it flips over and tries to scuttle away but its to slashed and burned to do much. 'blub brrr blsh." The crabs mouth foams as it activates its skill blood manipulation. "Ah god what the fu** what is it doing to itself?"

Dark read blood comes out of its wounds and flattens and hardens into a spear which is thrust straight to Max's head. "Aw crap the name blood is in its name I guess. Dash I got to run away from that spear." Running to the left of the spear it starts to change direction and follow him but the crab dies, and the spear just goes forward and demolishes 3 tries and explodes with blood on the fourth.

"Ha ha ha ah, ok well I'm so tired and hungry." Max grumbles as he pulls the starting bread from his inventory. "Wait where's my xp my loot? Darn it you bastard gimme my stuff, do I have to like go over to the crab?" Walking to the crab he kicks it over and in a neat little pile is some items.

*Bing Bing ding* A series of screens pop up with items and xp gain.

"*whistle's* Cool stats but I'm on 68# for the leader board nooooo. Why world why must I be 1 away from the number. Well its not the worst spot but its so close, I should check out that blood spear it seemed cool and I should see how good it was." Max picks is way through the scarred sand as he goes to the tree line. Lighting his hand on fire for light." Good thing the crab died before that hit me, these trees look absolutely recked just how much damage was that." Bending down to look at the trees he sees a a small round gray rock with blood splatters glistening in the grass.

'Ew this rock is all bloody but it sure looks kinda cool." picking it up it seemed weirdly heavy and it made a slushing sound when shaken like it was hollow and full of something. "What the heck is up with this rock? Wait is it a rune stone?! I need this in my life as soon as possible." Looking closer at the rock it looked to be splashed with blood on the out side but closer to the middle of the stone there was no blood, the center had some shallow groves that were filled with blood making what looked to be a question mark but more curved. "Oh my Gosh it is totally a ruin stone!' Thinking the word "status" in his mind a red and black box materialized in front of him.

Stat Screens popped up around max's body where is avatar sat. (When logged off your body stays where it is but nothing can be changed in a 3 meter radius of the player) Four Stat Screens pop up and disappear after some time.
