1 Chapter 1

I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off and my dad knocking on my door constantly "Hazel wake up you're going to be late" my dad said as he continued to pound on my door. My dad respected my privacy he never came into my room without my permission and he always knocked before coming in that's why I loved my dad. I hit the off button on my alarm and got out of bed to look at the clock it 7:40 school starts at 8 so I had only a few minutes to get dressed. I yelled to my dad that I was awake and he finally stopped pounding at my door. I walked over to my closet and grab my black crop top and my ripped jeans, I brushed my teeth and washed my face and did my makeup I made sure to keep it simple I wasn't like most girls that would cake their faces with makeup. After I finished with everything it was 7:59 I had one minute to get to school. I grabbed my bag and walked out of the house, I got in the car and sped to school. When I made it to the school the tardy bell rang I rushed to my locker and grabbed my books and ran to class. I snuck into the class luckily the teacher didn't see me so I was safe.

*6 hours later*

I just finished cheer practice and was on my way home, I was so happy that we were now on spring break that meant I was about to make sleep my b*tch. I pull up to the house to see my dad was home he normally was never home this early, it was only 2 and my dad normally came home at 9 or 10 at night. Once I walked into the house I saw my dad talking to this tall muscular man, he had jet black hair and light gray eyes. He had tattoos going all down his body they both looked at me once I placed my car keys in the bowl where the keys go. The man stared at me in amusement until he was interrupted by my dad "Hazel this is Dimitri he will be staying with us for a while and I have one rule for both of you so listen closely, absolutely no romantic activity or else!!!"
