A few days after the incident with Richard, Elena engaged with the staff of the mansion and with Camilla. Avoiding Richard at every turn and chance for him to apologise to her. Until a few days later when she is alone in the kitchen searching for something to nibble on.

"Hmmm....should I just eat the chicken curry or the spicy hot wings Fernando made?" I said to myself

"Elena" said an annoying man's voice

Damn, why him of all people to be awake during the middle of the night!

"Yes?" I asked turning around to face him

His face was so badly wrinkled with dark circles around his eyes, but what really struck Elena was the vulnerability of guilty that was captured in his eyes.

"Elena, I'm so sorry for lashing out on you." He said in a hoarse voice

"It's fine Richard I understand, you don't want to talk to me I completely understand." I said
