Eight years ago.....at school

The soft sunlight rays glides across the bedroom with the snoozes of a young teenager girl. White soft covers keeps her in her dreamland until.....

"Elena! Wake up you going to be late for school!" said an older woman pulling the soft covers off the young teenage girl who didn't seem like she is going to move a muscle.

"(Mumbles) I don't want to go to school!" Elena said pulling back the covers

"If you don't get up right now I'm going to cut your allowance! And give you a good hiding!" she said

"But Aunty Amelia...." said whining Elena

" You don't want that allowance to be cut off so you better be ready in 20 minutes!" said Aunty Amelia as she disappears from the room leaving the whining Elena as she kicks off the covers dragging herself to the bathroom to get ready.

Coffee brewing in the morning gives a fresh start to a new day. As I approach the kitchen I feel a little burning sensation at the back of my head.

"Ouch! What was that for?" I asked

"That's for not waiting up on time." she said grabbing an apple to peel

"I know Aunty but you don't have to hit me" I said

"It's what works doesn't it?" said Aunty Amelia

"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes

"What did you say? Do you want another hiding?" she said

"What? No!"

"Behave"

"Okay(pouts)"

"Don't give me that look"

"But I need some money..."

"For?"

"To buy something...."

"Like what?"

"Something I can't tell you what it is!"

"Why!"

"Because it's for someone special..."

"Ohhhh is it for Richard???(laughs) your face is getting red like a tomato. You must really love this one"

"I do"

"Make sure he doesn't break your heart or otherwise I'm going to break his bones." said Aunty Amelia holding that knife in a violent position that is ready to kill anyone

"Okay okay! No need to get all violent!"

"Hmmm....here is your card" said Aunty Amelia

"T-thank y-" I said waiting to take the card but is witheld

"But you got to use it wisely." she said

"Yes Aunty I know" I said

"Fine here you go and today Richard will be picking you up." Aunty Amelia said

"WHAT? Why didn't you tell me earlier!!" I said

"Didn't I try to wake you up?" she said

"Ohhhh"

"He is waiting for you outside"

"Oh no and I have been making him wait outside all this time." I said

"Yes you have, now go you're going to be late for school if you don't go now." Aunty Amelia said

"Okay I'll get going bye!"
