Keira had another field trip with Nate on a Saturday noon, visiting Little Ray Library out of town.

Getting out of the vintage red Aston – how many cars did he own, again? – she could hear the whole building drawing a collective breath. Keira could even feel many eyes and pointed fingers from the unusually crowded library in front of her.

"Oh, I want to open the door for you like a real gentleman," Nate grumbled.

She rolled her eyes and dismissed him, disliking the probable scene of Nate opening the door, holding his hand for her to take, and smiled charmingly as he escorted her inside. That would only garner more attention from the library patrons' to them.

For the strange mafia lord, that must be why he parked in front of the main entrance. Unlike that time, they went to Dawn Grace Library, where he parked blocks away from the building.
