After a moment of awkwardness, Adeline laughed nervously and tried to regain her composure, averting her gaze from the painting and the curious eyes of the students.

The instructor's face lit up as he turned his attention back to me, "Graham, would you consider working with me at my studio? You could draw more scenes like these..."

"Thank you for the offer," I replied, my tone apologetic, "but I have quite a few commitments at the moment, and I'm not exactly short on cash."

Obviously, I didn't have time for this.

"I understand," he said with a warm smile. "But if you ever change your mind, know that there's a place for you in my studio."

I felt a sense of pride at his recognition of my talent. It has been a novel thing for me.
