Mu Yuexin went beside the fake plant and smelled the air.
'Sniff! Sniff! I don't smell anything though!' Mu Yuexin thought and when she looked down, she saw the soil which was supposed to be hidden by white rocks were messed up terribly and the stand on which the fake plant was set could be seen.
"Ah, who violated this plant's root?! It's definitely not me!" Mu Yuexin exclaimed in shock but in that empty room, nobody was there to hear her.
And thus, she had to clean the mess made by a certain someone.

"Boss, you are late." Van Alroy spoke with a sluggish attitude. He was playing cards with another man as Ethan Han entered the booth.
Ethan sat down beside Van and right after, except Van all other men left the room. Only then did Van Alroy become serious. He took out his phone and passed it to Ethan.
As Ethan Han zoomed on the global map of the city, Van Alroy pointed towards a greenish spot and whispered, "The illegal gemstone mine. Some local officials hid it very well from the government's eyes. If you agree, we will work together…"
"What is the profit-sharing ratio?" Ethan Han asked as he zoomed more on that greenish spot.
"Fifty-fifty." Van Alroy said. Ethan Han stared at him for a few seconds after hearing him and that made Van Alroy nervous.
"Will we provide the latest equipment just for 50? Getting 60 will still be unfair to us." Ethan Han said as he threw his phone at him. Van Alroy nodded as he hurriedly said, "Then I will try to make it 65-35."
"No, minimum 70-30 and maximum 90-10. Try to get as much as you can. If they don't agree… expose them to the government." Ethan Han leaned down and smirked at Van.
The other party nodded as he again realized the difference between him and his boss.
Either you get the real deal or destroy it. Ethan Han believed in this saying and till now ruled with it. He did not want to take risks without any actual 'profit'.
Van Alroy gave Ethan Han a glass of wine to shrug off tiredness. As Van's phone buzzed, he took out his phone and saw the picture of both Li Yi and Mu Yuexin playing games while only their backs showed.
Ethan Han also saw it and the hand that was raised paused in midair. He looked elsewhere and did not speak further. Van Alroy however read the caption and immediately felt he was correct that Li Yi was his type.
Also as he saw Mu Yuexin's back, suddenly he had a thought, 'Friends usually have the same personalities. If she is like this then this woman could also be my type.'
Van Alroy's eyes lit up. Unexpectedly he also began to have thoughts regarding Mu Yuexin. Fooling around in other people's land was always interesting to him.

When Han Fan returned to his office that day after a busy meeting, he turned on his laptop. Then he went to check the CCTV footage of Ethan's office room.
However, he watched as Mu Yuexin came beside the camera's location. Right after a brownish liquid fell on the screen.
"..." Secretary Fan.
That wasn't all. Afterwards a long time passed, Ethan Han came beside the plant and sure enough, he dramatically fell. But he controlled the fall but in the process, the whole pot with the fake tree was overturned.
Ethan Han accidentally stepped on a fly and murmured with a smirk, "Why am I getting the smell of coffee from here?!"

"Why isn't it working?!" Han Fan muttered and then realized that something had happened to the tiny camera he had installed in Ethan Han's office.

As Mu Yuexin was cleaning the mess in the general manager's office, her phone rang out with the sound of Ding! Ding!
Mu Yuexin threw her job of rearranging and restocking the soil in the root of the tree and picked up her phone.
Watching an unfamiliar id which sent her a friend request in direct message, Mu Yuexin wanted to ignore it but when that person sent her a message, she could no longer stay calm.
[I am F. Where is your boss?]
Mu Yuexin stared at that F for a long time and thought, 'F, f for what?'
Not getting a quick response, Han Fan frowned.
[Agreement.]
"Oh! Oh! It's Secretary Fan!" Mu Yuexin exclaimed as hurriedly glanced back to ensure there was no one beside her.
Mu Yuexin: [Sorry, sir, I did not recognize you at the start.]
Han Fan: [Where is he?]
Mu Yuexin: [He went outside.]
Han Fan: [Do you know where?]
Mu Yuexin: [No. He did not tell me.]
Han Fan: [Yuexin, you have to adhere to the agreement. You are supposed to stick with him most of the time…]
Mu Yuexin: [Sorry, sir.]
But in real life, Mu Yuexin had yet to understand the degree of stickiness he was mentioning.
Han Fan: [What are you doing in the office in his absence?]
Secretary Fan was contemplating whether he should ask her to send some pictures of Ethan's secret folders.

Only then did Secretary Fan leave the chat box but he thought in confusion, 'Making her change the soil? What is he up to?'

After an hour, Mu Yuexin wiped her forehead as she saw the fake plant which looked just like its usual self. She sighed in tiredness, "Finally it's over, phew~."
The dusk light broke through the glass wall and fell on Mu Yuexin. She went towards the window and stood beside it. Mu Yuexin took a deep breath and felt the tiredness leaving.
"I need to go to an agency." Mu Yuexin murmured, pushing her fringes aside and enjoying the fresh air.
That night both she and Li Yi went to the real estate agency that was nearby. Mu Yuexin stared at the old man who began to flip a huge file after she stated her preferences.
"Double room apartment?" The old man asked again.
"Single room or sharing will do too." Mu Yuexin added as she knew how hard it was to find a place of her liking in this heavily packed city.
"You are only wasting your cash, stay with me instead, hn?" Li Yi whined in a low voice and told Mu Yuexin.
But the other person was firm in her decision and whispered, "I can't live in your home forever, right? I should get a place for my convenience, near to the Han Corporation."
"Okay… but even then, don't leave me! Hn? Hn?! Hn?!" Li Yi whined like a little girl who couldn't bear to part with her mama.
Mu Yuexin hid her smile and thought wryly, 'If possible I also do not want to leave you but I can't…' Li Yi's mother and that huge villa made her remember every single time, she did not belong to that high-class life.
She patted Li Yi's hand and took back her sleeve from her clutch as she murmured, "You can still come to live with me…"
Hearing her, Li Yi's eyes lit up. Mu Yuexin hurriedly added, "... From time to time!"
Li Yi still happily nodded. The old man gravely looked at them and put his hands together on top of his desk.
"Currently, we are unable to find anything as per your demand. Many are unwilling to rent their apartments to single people." He said.
"Ah, is that so?" Mu Yuexin was troubled. 'Do I have to get married just to find an apartment now?! Che!'
Now a days it was becoming too hard to find a place of her liking and affording a full apartment complex was equal to her half pay. Mu Yuexin was reluctant to spend that much!
The old man saw her sadness and added, "We will contact other agencies to check and see. If you are lucky, you can get it in a few days to weeks. If not then I am sorry."
"It's fine, uncle. If you find one please contact me in the future." Mu Yuexin said with a gentle smile.
"Definitely." The old man nodded.
While they were exiting the agency, Li Yi hugged her hand and said, "See, the whole universe wants you to live with me!"
"It seems so." Mu Yuexin chuckled. If she did not know Li Yi clearly, she would have thought this girl of a rich family used some underhanded tactics in her case.
