Next week Monday is Halloween and I don't have a costume, why do I have to wear a costume when am already looking scary. " Luciano, what costume are you wearing this year" What the use of costume, beside aside from my family members, no one else know that am a vampire.

Smith is my only friend, that's because he wouldn't leave me alone, he loves hanging with me.

Since my parents enroll me in highschool, smith is the only one who isn't afraid of me, my scary eyes make everyone to be avoid me and call me son of the devil.

" Am not a fan of Halloween".

I reply smith.

I look at Smith and smile.

Aside from being a vampire, my dad own a association of mafias, who deal with illegal activities, I wish I could change the fact that I was his son.

I was lost in my thoughts, until I hear the school bell.

Smith tap me on the shoulder.

"Luciano let go, I can't wait to walk Ella home".

I ask my friend.

"You shouldn't be serious always, at least cheer a little man".

I just look at my friend and offer a dry smile.

"Smith let go".

Smith obey and follow me, without asking any further question.

Smith carry my bag, and run ahead of me, I just follow him behind.

Am always the center of attention, everyone keeps staring at me, always, they are just afraid of me.

I wonder why smith isn't afraid of me, maybe cause he is a weirdo and didn't have any friends.

No one want to be his friend, cause of his locality, I noticed this, that's why I decided to be his friend, cause am also different from everyone else.

My eyes are always red, my hair is wig, am always dress in my vampire suit, my body perfume is made from a magical portion, am probably the most handsome and hot guy in college, but also the most scary guy in college.

I meet smith outside with Ella.

Ella is beautiful and from the look on her face, she is probably 19.

I distance myself from smith and Ella, I don't want to indulge in any discussion with them, am only free with smith and I don't welcome the idea of walking Ella home, maybe I will go home without smith.

I watch as they both were chatting from afar.

I use my vampire ear, to listen to their discussion from afar.

" I love the amulet on Luciano neck, he is very handsome, but am scare to talk to him, he looks scary".

I heard Ella.

" He is fun to be with, am afraid of him also, but you will love him, if you are close to him".

" I wish I can steal his amulet, it's very attractive".

" Me too, but he never take it off, or even allow me to touch it".

" Bet me, I will be close to Luciano and I will probably steal his amulet".

"If you say so".

I smile as I hear Ella idea to steal my amulet.

A special amulet is given to every member of the Kane family, it protect us from the sun and help us to live for ages.

My amulet is specially gifted to me from my grand father, am the only male child of my parents, and also the last born in the house, I have elder sisters.

I would love to see Ella try.

I continue to listen to their discussion, until my black dove landed on my shoulder.

"Your dad want your attention at the mafias meeting, right away".

"I will be there in 14 minutes".

I answered my black dove.

I quickly walk over, to Smith and Ella and collect my bag from smith.

"I will see you tomorrow".

"Okay"

Smith answer me.

I walk into a location where no one can see me, then touch my amulet and activate my vampire speed an start running to meet my Dad.
