Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques

Taking the two new Fae home, Arthur immediately started to refine the black smog fae as well as the camouflage fae.

The camouflage fae was surprisingly lax, and didn't put up much resistance as it was refined, while the black smog fae was extraordinarily aggressive and would take more time than initially thought to refine completely.

Having another two fae would increase Arthur's ability to sustain his wealth, seeing as though he needed to purchase food for both fae.

Both of the new Fae were Rank 1, so their feeding requirements were relatively easy comparatively speaking.

The black smog fae needed to be fed large amounts of black soot worms in order to be used, while the camouflage fae needed multi-coloured fireflies in order to be used.

Both were mortal Rank Fae materials so Arthur only needed to use some silver taels in order to purchase both of these materials.

Despite not being Rank 1 Fae materials, these mortal Ranked materials still played a huge part in the ecosystem across Winter Rain Mountain.

Black soot worms were usually formed after an intense fire and possessed a remarkable vitality and the ability to increase the nutrients in the soil.

Multi-coloured fireflies were captured and used within houses as a light source, instead of candles and flames. These fireflies were captured and bred within Parachenko Village as a unique mortal Fae material and sold to travelling merchants by the bundle.

They weren't much individually seeing as though they were only mortal Ranked materials, but still, buying in bulk, was better for the merchants anyway.

"My need for Water Attributed and Wood Attributed Fae can wait for the time being. Purchasing these two will increase my combat abilities by a lot, and allow me to take down most opponents without much trouble. And I've still got the moonsword fae that I can use as well".

"I originally wanted to purchase a waterslice fae and a stream fae in order to fight Randolf. But seeing as though we have an agreement, I guess I can settle for second place".

Arthur's main goal was still to reach Rank 2, and become a Rank 2 Fae Master. His cultivation was improving rapidly under the influence of the bloodseeker leaf fae, and far exceeded that of a first-tier talent.

"Only someone with Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques could exceed my current cultivation speed. There was someone from one of the other Villages in Winter Rain Mountain who possessed such a Physique.... The Overflowing Ocean Depths Sovereign Boundary Physique. If I'm not mistaken her name should be.... Anastasia Marina.....".

The Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques were the strongest levels of talent in the entire world.

They exceeded first-tier talents by an enormous margin and were the results of research done by the First Man and the Myriad Races within the <First Tale>.

Those who possessed one of the Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques would have numerous advantages during cultivation.

Firstly was the automatic use of 300% of their origin essence sea. No matter what Sovereign Boundary Physique it was, all of them had the ability to utilise the full 300% of their origin essence sea.

Secondly was the rapid regeneration of origin essence. Even though the origin essence of Fae Masters regenerated at a set pace, depending on talent, those with the Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques could regenerate even faster.

Arthur didn't know the exact number, but it was at least double that of a first-tier talent.

Thirdly was the formation of a second Origin Fae during their talent awakening ceremony. The first Origin Fae that formed was usually an indication of what direction a Fae Master should direct their talents, however this second Origin Fae, was always the manifestation of the specific Sovereign Boundary Physique.

For something like the Overflowing Ocean Depths Physique, the second Origin Fae would always be the Tidal Teeth Fae.

There were more abilities that were granted as a result of being born with one of the Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques, but Arthur didn't know all of them.

He knew a couple of details regarding one of the other Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques, the Formless Night Shadow Sovereign Boundary Physique, but other than that, nothing.

"The appearance of the Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques are completely random, and anyone, regardless of Race could awaken any single one of them. In fact, the vast majority of Rank 9 Fae Immortals possessed one of these Physiques.....".

Arthur sighed.

Rank 9.... how would the world look from such a height, he wondered.

The thousand year old reincarnate shook his head from side to side, his attention placed solely on the Rank 1 black smog fae.

"I need to stop thinking about such things and focus my attention on refining the black smog fae".

Arthur, without hesitation utilised the bloodseeker leaf fae in order to increase the amount of origin essence he had within him. The thick, long leech shot out from Arthur's origin essence sea and landed on the large vines he had growing in this basement.

Arthur could feel through the connection between him and the bloodseeker leaf fae that it had started consuming the plants life force, converting it into origin essence for him to use.

It was only 10% an hour, but combined with Arthur's origin 10% an hour for having vapour quartz origin essence, his total origin essence reached a whopping 20% per hour!

This was 20% out of the 201%, not 20% of 201% though.

But still, Arthur's origin essence replenishment still far exceeded that of Randolf's. Only failing to reach the level of the Thirty-Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques.

With such a thing assisting his cultivation speed, if he didn't become a Rank 2 Fae Master before Randolf, he could only atone with his life.

At any rate-.

"The rewards for the tournament between the new generation of Fae Masters gives out one free Fae of choice to the first place winner, in addition to 25 origin essence stones. The second and third place winners will receive a random Fae, chosen by the Elders that suit the Fae Master the most, as well as 15 origin essence stones.

Fourth to sixth place will receive 10 origin essence stones, while seventh to tenth will receive 5 origin essence stones. Everyone below that will receive 1 origin essence stone".

In his previous life, Randolf won, and chose another Fire Attributed Fae to augment his other Fire Attributed Fae's abilities.

Since Arthur would be the one reaping the rewards from Randolf, he naturally would chose something else which can benefit him.

"The current me is lacking in everything, including long-range offensive measures. I don't have the luxury of being picky at the moment, but I can count on Father at least picking something that I want, rather than need".

Arthur could count on his Father to influence the Elders to pick the Fae that he wanted, rather than needed the most.

So long as Arthur had a good reason for it, why couldn't his Father, the Clan Leader tell the Elders the same thing?

Nepotism was truly a great thing, he thought to himself.

"In terms of short range combat, the moonsword fae, black smog fae and the camouflage fae all compliment each other well, even if they don't amplify the others abilities. The bloodseeker leaf fae is used to increase cultivation speed and is in its own category, while the water leaf tree fae is used to generate wealth.

What I need is something to increase speed and defense. Then I can wander the forests surrounding Parachenko Village and prepare other sources of revenue, far away from the Village itself. A concealment type fae would be nice, but speed and defense are currently what I lack the most".

Any accomplished Fae Master would have a plethora of different Fae for them to use. They should be able to attack, defend and assist in battle, regardless of the situation or event they were stuck in.

If they could only attack, how could they defend themselves?

And if they could only defend, how would they be able to defeat their enemies?

Fae granted the Myriad Races abilities that only Gods and Devils could possess. If they only used it to focus on a single thing, then what good were they if they died?

They could only blame themselves if such a thing happened.

Arthur let out a sigh, a small smile on his face.

"Finally.... I refined the black smog fae".
