192 Spirit Affection Tree Fae!

Ever since the first Fae Master Tournament ended for the new year, the Fae Master population of Parachenko Village, was experiencing a drastic change to the studies of the <First Tale>, in addition to the quality of combat in its new generation.

Quite a number of Fae Masters, after seeing the abysmal performance done by the majority of mortal born Fae Masters had taken it upon themselves to ask Elder Vova to let them train a single mortal born Fae Master, similar to a master and disciple relationship.

These kids were supposed to be the next generation of Fae Masters, and if their combat strength was weak, it didn't matter if there were more per generation, they would only serve to block the talented from attacks, draining the enemies origin essence sea.

They were.... useless in a sense.

The excursions into the territories outside of the Village was put on hold, and a much greater focus was placed on the nurturing of these mortal born Fae Masters.

In fact.... the master and disciple relationship was proposed by Dominic, who wanted to try and create bridged between the new Kovacs and the old Kovacs. He had gathered some of his friends, all of whom were Rank 2 Fae Masters and proposed this in front of the Elder Council.

It didn't just promote greater ties within the Clan, but also the strength of the Clan as a whole. It also tested the friendship, and the sense of camaraderie with all of them, not just the new batch of Fae Masters.

The Elders agreed to it without too much worrying or trouble, opting to turn their focus back towards the Shadow <First Tale> that Arthur had given them.

The details were similar, in that it also mentioned some, but not all of the Sovereign Boundary Physiques, and went into more detail regarding the relationship between Formless Night Shadow and Luminous Golden Soul.

It also focused quite a bit more on Shadow Laws and Darkness Laws more than anything else, although Arthur knew that it was possible to discern almost every Law from the <First Tale> variants, there were some that hadn't yet been included, purely due to the fact that they hadn't been discovered yet.

Alchemy Laws and Blacksmithing Laws were examples of this. As well as various weapon type Laws, such as Sword Laws and Spear Laws.

It wasn't impossible to form intent while gaining enlightenment by using the Shadow <First Tale>, although the Myriad Races used other methods to promote the create and unification of Emotions, Thoughts and Desires.

Niklos too had been quite busy trying to gain enlightenment through studying this version of the Shadow <First Tale>. He specialised in a Shadow Transformation Attributed Control Skill, so if he could even reach a pseudo-understanding of Shadow Laws, the drain of his Attribute Control Skill would plummet, and his strength would increase drastically as a result.

While all these other things were going on, a certain someone has been busy training a group of Fae Masters. The nine or so Kovacs Clan Fae Masters were current staring at a single Rank 2 Fae Master, expressions of annoyance and respect could be seen within their eyes.

Parvan, Zlatanna, Iryna and Milena on one side.

And Henrik, Dagen, Nyssa, Helga and Eric on the other.

With Arthur, that made ten.

"You're serious? You're not fucking around with us are you?".

Milena raised an eyebrow. Even though she didn't like the way that Arthur was "helping" them, she knew that it was the best possible way for all of them to grow stronger. He couldn't promise he wouldn't do anything too over the top, but at least he promised never to harm them without reason.

'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, I suppose....'.

Arthur nodded.

"It has been roughly two months since I started training you all, a little bit longer for those in my generation of Fae Masters, however I think its time that I amp things up a little bit. For those of you who can land a fatal hit on me, I will give you the closest thing to an Attribute Control Skill that I can possibly create. You can all attack together, or attack individually, however only the one who lands an attack will receive the prize".

Henrik narrowed his eyes for a moment before turning towards the slightly older four Fae Masters.

"Isn't this a little bit too unfair though? I mean, all four of them are solid quartz origin essence Fae Masters and above? The strongest one out of us five is Nyssa, and she is only a liquid quartz origin essence Fae Master? Isn't this a little too skewed towards them?".

Arthur shrugged his shoulders, waving Henrik off.

"Feel free to attack each other if you want, I don't really care. If you all want, you could all attack together and then just rotate around, letting each one of you land a fatal hit one after the other, but please note that I will be attacking with the same force that I did previously".

Arthur glanced at Parvan's group, causing the young man to glance at his shoulder and arm before gulping when remembering the pain he went through.

The young man glanced at Milena and the others before turning towards Nyssa's group.

"Let's all just work together. Arthur nearly chopped off my arm last time, and since he won't be pulling any of his punches again, he won't hesitant doing the same thing to you guys either".

The younger five's eyes widened and they turned towards Arthur, as if trying to disprove Parvan's words.

Arthur nodded.

"It's true. If I fired my shot horizontally instead, Parvan wouldn't be here today. Oh don't worry, I won't kill any of you or anything, but don't expect to leave here in one piece".

Eric gulped slightly before turning towards Nyssa and the others. All of them seemed slightly apprehensive, glancing at each other for a moment before turning towards Parvan and nodding slightly.

"We'll accept your offer, however we'll need to know all of your Fae specializations so as to avoid any crossfire or collision of attacks".

Parvan, Zlatanna, Milena and Iryna nodded.

Arthur smiled gently from the other side of the practice field, seeing all nine of them talk and communicate with one another. There was still some slight issues regarding trust, strength and companionship, but with the things that Arthur had in mind, they either had to put aside their differences and fight, or keep them bottled up and die.

Not to mention, that the seeds of affection within all of them had fully taken root, and sprouting into fruits of affection. These fruits of affection could be removed with certain Fae, or they could be used later, during an Attribute Control Skill that utilised the Affection Tree Fae....

Arthur smirked for a moment before supressing any emotion within him, causing his face to take up its normally aloof expression.

He had received quite the surprise a couple days ago....

After the end of the new Fae Master Tournament, Arthur had finally completed the requirements to evolve the Affection Tree Fae from Rank 1 to Rank 2. Originally, if it followed the original evolution path, the Rank 1 Affection Tree Fae should evolve into the Rank 2 Spirit Affection Tree Fae.

This one.... did in fact follow the traditional evolution path.

'Thankfully....'.

Arthur let out a huge breath of air when he saw the massive fifty metre tall Spirit Affection Tree Fae within his origin essence sea. If it had evolved into a variation Fae, the ability might change, for better or for worse, it was completely up to fate.

Its massive green coloured leaves, and pink coloured vines swung loosely amidst the faint breeze. The roots beneath the Spirit Affection Tree Fae were large enough that even two or three fully grown men couldn't encompass it. The leaves had grown, both in size and in number, while the pink vines had sprouted even more pink coloured flowers, blooming and releasing seeds of affection into the world around it.

It was a beautifully dangerous Fae.... even more so in Arthur's hands.

The reincarnated demon just shook his head slightly before turning towards Parvan and the rest, smiling gently as he noticed their crooked, but established formation on the other side of the practice field.

He took out his leafsword fae, holding it gently in one hand as he summoned a Rank 2 halberd fae in the other.

He quite liked using it, so he requested Elder Vova allow him to switch out his Rank 1 one for a Rank 2 version.

He gazed silently at the nine or so Fae Masters opposite him, letting out a deep breath, while steadying his form.

The faint breeze carried his voice along the wind.

"I hope you're all ready, because if you guys don't entertain me, you will feel like you'll want to die".
