The next day.

Ilyana and Val sat at a round table discussing their work. As a new staff, Val still has a lot to learn from his senior, this opportunity was used very well by Ilyana who sat next to Val. Who doesn't know that Ilyana likes all the handsome guys in the office, and now, Val is her newest target?

"So this is the report, it must be copied and in 3, then put the signature is marked like this. Big boss, you know because he is old, he likes to sign whatever he thinks is right but it turns out to be wrong."

Jason approached with a cup of hot tea, smiling at how Ilyana's sexy body seemed to be wrapped around Val, without the young man realizing it.

"Ahem! Il, is the report finished? The boss will be here in a second, you know?"

Ilyana straightened up in her seat, she was embarrassed by Jason's meaningful glance. The girl brushed her shoulder-length hair behind her ear.

"Eh boss, I want to put this on his table, he"

Immediately, the sweet girl wearing a short skirt above her knees and a rather tight white shirt with three buttons open, showing the shape of her sexy chest stood up from her seat.

"Excuse me, boss"

Val held back amusement.

He knows how mischievous Jason likes to tease Ilyana, if he doesn't know Jason who is really ignorant he will think his boss is a masher.

Jason sat in front of Val, sipping his warm tea slowly.

"Well, Val, you said, you're looking for a new place to live. I heard that your apartment is going to be demolished, how about you go with me to my apartment. The place is quite big, there are three rooms, one is already rented, and there is still one empty room, and it's not so bad, you know?"

Val turned his head, frowning.

"Boss, you're kidding, are you?"

Jason frowned.

"Why should I? This is serious"

Val thought for a moment, afraid that his boss might just be teasing him, but the look in Jason's eyes did look like he was quite serious.

"That would be great, Boss, but it's definitely very expensive, your apartment is so luxurious. I can't afford to pay the rent."

Jason smiled.

"Umm, I'm telling you, it is free for you. Just think of it as accompanying me, because my roommate is always out of town, I'm totally alone, you know, I'm a little scared," he whispered.

Val's eyes widened, hearing the word free.

"Free? Really? Boss?"

Jason nodded. He took out a pass card from his trouser pocket, apparently having prepared it from the start.

"Here, just tell me if you want to move your stuff, I'll help."

With a beaming face, Val accepted the card, even though he was still a little doubtful. Was it not wrong to live with his boss? This is a bit suspicious.

"Is this serious, boss?"

Jason nodded.

"Hey, I'll never play around with something like this, we'll go home together this afternoon, okay? I'll show you your room, I'll just ask the apartment worker to clean it, all the furniture is complete, but who knows, you might want to fill it again."

Val is in deep thought. It might feel very strange, but there's no harm in trying. He really needs a place to stay right now, and what's great is that his boss's apartment is right across the building, after the intersection. He can go to work so easily every day, and of course, it will save a lot of time and money.

The little bird had just taken flight with its tiny wings and perched on a branch, sharing the joy with its mate and also some small birds in a small pile of hay on top of a large branch. The trees grew towering in the middle of the city, and the morning atmosphere at that time was filled with busyness which quickly spread to all places. Pedestrians were like ants in groups that immediately filled the walkways between the tall office buildings in the city center.

The cross intersection in the center of the Argent's heart that always crowded and lively. The CBD office buildings where the business center is, one of the Diamond buildings, and the cross of the street was the other apartments and shopping center block, while the other part of the intersection is the hospital and another vital business point of the city. It is a very strategic neighborhood.

The old Director, Mr. Garber chaired the meeting that afternoon.

Since he arrived hours ago, the staff have become very serious in their seats, instantly being so busy. The main director was known to be very strict and did not hesitate to scold his staff who were incompetent at work, which was really troublesome, thought Ilyana, who occasionally peeked out from her cabin. Val, who had just brewed coffee from the pantry, approached, she grabbed his hand immediately.

"Eh Val, don't walk around like that, if Boss see you, you'll get scolded," Il whispered, Val smiled.

"He wont scolded people just like that, don't worry, I've finished my work, I want to straighten my waist a little, I sit all day now."

"Just come here, don't get scolded by the boss" whispered Ilyana.

It didn't take long for the afternoon meeting to finish quicker than usual.

The company operates in so many industries, one of them is consumer food, with high quality products. Jason leads the market study team so he always has to be in direct contact with customers. One of their tasks is to interview customers and assess the level of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the final value of the company's products, and how to market their new products in the future.

While Jason was still tidying up the files on the table, Mr. Garber came out of the room.

"Jas, don't forget to stop by the house tomorrow night, I want to discuss that problem again," he said before leaving Jason alone, Jason nodded.

"Okay, gramps"

When the old man stepped out of the meeting room, the entire busy office instantly turned so calm. Everyone returned to their respective jobs.

Mr. Garber stopped in his tracks when he saw Val who had just come out of the pantry with food in his mouth. Looks like he was caught on act, Val thought confusedly as the man stared at him without blinking, he then finished the food in his mouth and smiled.

"Hey, good afternoon sir"

The director looked at Val from top to bottom, he must be a new employee. The old man just saw him for the first time there.

"What's your name?" asked the director. Can't take his eyes off Valiant.

"I'm Valiant, Sir"

For a moment the old director fell silent, staring intently at the young man in front of him, long enough for his assistant, Mr. Tyus, to remind him.

"Pardon me, sir, but we have to get to the airport immediately, we might miss the plane."

"Y-yeah, come on," as if realizing, the man immediately turned around.

Strange, thought Val, seeing the owner of the company pass by and rush out, what's made him look at him like that? The man still managed to look at him a couple of times until he entered the elevator. For some reason, Val didn't think the person was scary, just, strange. He must have been so cute that the man kept looking at him without blinking.

"Weird"

Ilyana grabbed Val's arm. 

"Oh Val, I told you not to go back and forth like that. Looked what you have done, he got you, right? I reminded you."

"It was, Il, don't worry, it's no problem"

In a luxury apartment building directly across from the office building.

Val couldn't stop admiring Jason's apartment suite, it was the best thing money could buy. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious, and full of luxurious interiors. Cool air, nice smells, and clean squeaky shiny floors that can reflect images as if they were a mirror. One floor of the apartment only has two suites, they can also have a private elevator, which is great.
