TIME TO MOVE ON

I was watching Netflix trying to make myself feel better , I even called Gabi and told her everything but she wasn't able to come over cause she's at her uncle's wedding . My parents came home a few minutes ago .

" Madison can you please come down " My mom called .

"I will be right down " I picked up the tissue and through them away . And walked down stairs.

" Madison come sit down , we want to talk to you about something" said my dad .

I sat down opposite them.

"We have a problem dear , um... You see the company we been working for , got into some kind of trouble and got sued so everyone from the company has been fired . So we have to get new jobs " said my dad.

" I'm sorry Mom and Dad what happened what will you do now" I asked .

" We are not sure darling but I'm sorry we have to move so me and your dad can find jobs" said my mom.

I was shocked I can't move all my friends are here I have a good life here . This can't be happening.

" Why can't you stay here and get a job? " .

" Sweetheart it would be hard cause after everything that has happened no one would want to hire people from a company that just got sued, they would think there's something wrong and we are also part of it " My Mom said.

" Do we really have to ?" I asked.

" Yes we do darling , if the problem is Matt and Gabi we could find a way to get them to came with us,would that be okay" Asked my dad.

Once my Dad mentioned Matt's name everything came flushing back about what had happened early .

" Madison why are you home by the way , shouldn't you be out with Matt today you guys make 1 year together " Asked my mom.

Now I was crying again

" Mom we broke up , today " I was now trembling.

" Oh my baby come here , mommy's got you " My mom said while putting her hands around me . I hugged her back.

" Madison you can stay home tomorrow if you want" said my Dad . It was a little bit funny cause I could tell my dad was feeling uncomfortable and didn't know what to do .

" No dad I want to go " .

"Okay darling " he said.

" Can I go to my room now " I asked

" Sure you can , dinner will be ready in a few minutes" said mom.

" It's okay Mom I'm not hungry " With that said I entered my room and shut the door.

The Next Day

I woke up and got ready for school I chose to wear black leggings with a white T- shirt and a yellow sweater on top.

As I walked into school every was looking at me . I couldn't see there faces we'll cause I had chose to leave my hair down so it could cover my tear stained eyes . I went up to my locker to grab my books for first period , I sent Gabi a quick text and told her to meet my in class .

As I was looking for my English notebook . Someone had shut my locker hard , I was lucky that my fingers did not get caught in it . I looked up ready to scold the idiot who almost got my hand caught in the locker. It was no one other than Sarah Duckworth she's our schools barbie doll .She thinks she's better than everyone but she's the opposite she's slept with half of the boy population in our school.

" What do you want Sarah ?" .

" Nothing just came to say sorry about being dumped" she said. Clearly she wasn't sorry she looked happy she's always had a crush on Matt but Matt didn't like her back . when me and him got together she was angry from that day on she hated me.

" What do you want Sarah " I asked I'm really getting annoyed with her .

" Nothing , actually I came to tell you . I told you so , Matt will never like you he got bored and decided to dump you . poor thing do you need a hug " she said while holding her hands out.

How dare she even if half of what she said was true , who is she to tell me.

" Don't touch me with your filthy hands god knows how many dicks you've touched with those hands I don't want STDs . Go away" With that said I walked away from her leaving her shocked and pissed .

" Where have you been? " Gabi asked.

" I had run into Sarah on the way"

" What did she say ? " Gabi asked.

" The same thing she says every time " Lunch came faster than I expected and I had to sit alone cause Gabi does not have lunch today at the same time as me .

" Guys look over there its Madison doesn't she look lonely , only if she could sit with Matt she wouldn't be . I'm glad he's done with her " Said Sarah as she turned over to Matt .

" Hey Matty aren't you happy your done with that hoe , I bet she's was bad in bed . Don't worry you have me now " she said while looking over at me.

" Sarah leave her alone , she's done nothing to you " Matt said . why can't he keep his mouth shut I don't need his help.

" Oh I see so your now defending your hoe , I thought you could be better . Anyway call me if you need me" Sarah said as she walked away with her minions.

Was this girl some kind of special stupid couldn't she see he's not interested . She's so needy .Matt walked over to where I was sitting and sit down.

" What do you want " I asked Matt.

" I'm really sorry Maddie please take me back , I love you . please " Said Matt. Is he mad or what , he has cheated on me twice and expects me to forgive him.

" Mo " I got up and started walking away .

" You know what Madison zi don't want your sorry ass back, you don't even look that nice . I was with you for the money only . I love the car by the way and I ain't giving it back" He yelled on top of his voice . Everyone just sat there looking at me .

I ran and ran until I was out of school and I didn't stop there I ran until I reached my house .

I unlocked the door and entered I ran into my room and shut the door . I cried for almost 3 hours ,I finally slept after that.

By the time I woke up my parents

had already come back. I went downstairs to talk to my parents about the choice I had made.

" Hey mom , Hey dad" .

" Hi darling , how was school today " My dad asked.

" School was fine , I want to talk to you guys about something" .

" Come sit down and let's talk" said mom.

" I have decided that I want to move "

" Really sweetheart " Mom asked me she was totally happy from the big smile on her face.

" Yes mom I'm really telling the truth" I said and smiled back at her.

" Then its final we are moving to Redfield(South Dakota)" My dad said overjoyed.

" Redfield(South Dakota), Dad no that place is boring" . Really South Dakota . what mess did i get myself into. I'm so going to regret this.

" Okay fine , when are we leaving and what time is the flight". I think it will be about a week before we fly out . so I'll just hangout with Gabi.

" The flight is tomorrow night at 11:30pm , so go and start packing " My mom said.

" What!! Tomorrow " That's so soon.

" When will I say bye to my friends "

" Go see them tomorrow morning at school and you can come back home . You can take a half day." That's actually a good idea after saying bye to my friends I can go shopping for a few clothes before I leave .

" Okay fine . That's okay I'll go and start packing now". I left the room and walked up to my bedroom I told Gabi about me leaving . she was sad but said she'll meet up with me tomorrow.

The Next Day

I woke up when I heard my mom calling me . It's so early in the morning what does she want .

" Mom I'm tried , what do you want so early in the morning".

" I'm just telling you me and your dad are going out for shopping for some gifts for the guests " !y mom said .

I got out of bed and walked down the stairs . And into the kitchen .

" Mom which guests are you talking about "

" Oh , In South Dakota I have a best friend there and I recently found out that we are next door neighbor's . So I'm going out to get her a gift, you will love her she's really nice and she also has a son your age " my mom said.

" Mom no more boys okay " .

" Okay , I understand . But you will like him . he's wonderful".

" Mother stop its not funny , Dad do something to make her keep quiet" I turned around and walked back up to my room.
