BURIAL PART 2

Madison's POV

After a few minutes, the ceremony started and the Priest began with an opening prayer and then the following chosen and required prayers. When it came time to the part where people had to say something about the deceased, I was crying a river. Asher held my hand through the entire thing. My Mom was such a lovely person.

It was now my turn, I cleaned up my face and walked to where I was supposed to stand. I took a deep breath and started.

“ When I was asked to speak here a few weeks ago, I refused not because I wasn't strong, okay maybe that but mostly because I couldn't come to terms with the fact that my Mom was gone. She was just a joyous, energetic person, and I couldn't believe that I wouldn't be able to see that again. I could stand here all day and tell you all how awesome my Mom was, but you all already know that, instead I'll talk about the conversation I had with my Mom when I was at my weakest.
