Meanwhile, Caleb and his wife had begun to fight more constantly over his new mistress Tina.

"Tina honey, is breakfast ready?" Caleb called from the top of the stairs when he perceived the sweet aroma of boiled corn, sausages, toasted bread, and fried eggs coming from the kitchen.

Angela had taken in, and could do nothing strenuous because of the weight of the child. She had reached her seventh month, and was advised by the doctor to do nothing too stressful. So she took to reading more books since her husband had abandoned their love. But today felt different. For many months, Angela hadn't felt the touch of her husband's skin on hers, and she was desperately in need of him.
