Chapter 68: Start of the High School DxD Arc

Walking out of the portal, I look around and take a deep breath. I'm finally back on Earth, somewhat. I know, it's not my Earth but I'll take it. I look around and notice that I'm in a forest. I use my senses and sensed a house close by. Two living beings are inside the house. Both female. One is a child and I sensed that she is only half human. That must be Akeno. The other is an adult human.

"So that's where Shuri and Akeno live until they were attacked." I said quietly to myself. Just then, my phone rings.

"Hello old man."

"My child, I hope you like a bit of time travel."

"I don't mind it. Is there something else?"

"You can now duel wield most of your guns."

"The only ones I can't is my minigun, the grenade launcher, and the Barrett, right?"

"Yes."

"Ok, I'll text you when I'm done here."

I hung up and began walking towards the house. I use Stealth as I wanted to observe the house for a little bit. I know that once the fighting begins that I'll draw attention towards me from the three factions and all the other gods in this world. Well, I guess I better prepare to make a statement to make these fools understand not to cross the line with me. I get a good distance of the house and watch Akeno run off. I guess she went to a playground to play. I then sense a group of 11 people approach the house. Suo Himejima and the Himejima Clan must be moving forward with their plan to kill Shuri and Akeno. Even if I didn't intervein, Akeno would survive but her mom would sacrifice herself for her daughter's survival. I have my mission to save Shuri. I'll still make sure that Akeno will survive. I pull out my phone and text God to tell Akeno to keep running when she escapes from the house. I watch Suo enter the house with one of his goons. I here a slap and a thud. My rage is building up. I watch Akeno run back to the house and enter. After Akeno entered, I placed my hand on the ground and say," Stone coffin, Iron Maiden." You think I only trained my strength these past five years? I knew that I would need to train my magic too. Having some mages as my wives is a plus for training. After saying the spell, the 9 men that surrounded the house got incased by stone and the blood was pouring out the bottom of the stone structures. I then walk towards the front door when I hear a scream and then see Akeno escape off to the side. It's my time now as I duck so I don't hit my head on the top of the door frame.

"Quickly, after the child. Take all the men with you. She must be killed!" Suo commanded his goon.. I said, "Quick Draw" and my Glock quickly appeared in my hand and I shot the goon in the head. Suo turned his head towards me and was frozen in fear.

"W-who are y-you?" he asked me. I walked up to him and smacked him with the back of my right hand. He flew through a wall. I see Shuri on the floor holding her gut. I see that she's bleeding. I rush over to her. I put my hand on her wound and cast heal on her. The wound closes up and she looks at me with her eyes wide. I put my hand up to tell her to stay quiet. She nods. I stand up and walk over to a struggling Suo. I knocked him silly with the back of my hand on that hit.

"So because this woman fell in love with a fallen angel and had a child with him, you think it's right to kill mother and child?" I said loudly to Suo.

"They will bring ruin to the clan!"

"They don't belong to your clan once you kicked them out. I need to take my rage out on someone and you're the only one left alive. So you know what that means." I told him as I started to smile evilly. His face went pale. I crack my knuckles and then went to work. It took me 2 minutes to break his soul as I broke his arms, legs, and ribs. I ended him with the Columbian Neck Tie. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to see Shuri walking towards me. She embraces me.

"Thank you, who ever you are." Shuri said as tears start to fall from her eyes. I kiss her forehead and return her embrace.

"Ma'am, my name is Michael Barnes." I said. "May I ask you for your name?"

""Shuri Himejima. Where's my daughter?"

If memory serves me right, Rias should have found her by now. This is how Akeno becomes Rias' queen.

"She's safe. We got to move to another spot. It's not safe to stay here." I tell her. She nods and looks around. I send a text to God and a portal opens. Shuri eyes went wide again. I pick her up into a princess carry and walk into the portal. 30 seconds after the portal closed up, the area was being investigated by the heads of the 3 factions. Sirzechs Lucifer was the first one on the scene, then Michael, with Azazel being the last to appear on the scene.

"Hmm, seems like we missed the man that created this mess." Azazel said.

"His magic is something I haven't seen before." Sirzechs said while examining one of the stone structures.

"His brutality is something we need to watch too." Michael added while looking at Suo's broken shell of a body. Michael picks up a note that was left on Suo's body.

"What does the note say?" Azazel asked Michael. Sirzechs walked over to the archangel and they both read the note. The note was simple and to the point. It says, "I'm here. Signed, Mad Dog Barnes, King of the Barnes Kingdom."

"Mad Dog Barnes? I need more information on this guy." Azazel said.

"We all do." Sirzechs said looking at both Michael and Azazel. "Azazel, isn't this the place where one of your subordinates was staying with a wife and child?"

"Baraqiel, I just called him back a few days ago. What should I tell him?" Azazel answered.

"If I were you, I would tell him bits and pieces about what happened today. We should check the house." Michael said. The 3 checked the house, seeing the blood on the floor and the hole in the wall. They find a dead man with a hole in his skull and a shell casing. They also see another note.

"Hello boys. I knew you would check this house. Let me introduce myself. My name is Michael Barnes. Knowing all three of you, you're going to try to dig up info about me. That may be hard for you to do since until today, I was in another world. I'm a high human and make no mistake, I'm very strong. In fact, I know I'm much stronger than the 3 of you. I came here to save the one known as Shuri Himejima from death. Sirzechs, I know that Shuri and Baraqiel's daughter, Akeno is with Rias. Azazel, tell Baraqiel that I'm going to train Shuri to get her skills back and then some. Michael, when I return, I guess you would like to have a talk. I'll be back in the future. All I ask is to not get in my way. I have missions to complete. And I'll be completing those missions, no matter what. All will be reviled in due time. Also, tell the Himejima Clan to leave Shuri and Akeno alone or I'll wipe the entire clan out. As you saw, not my first rodeo in killing. Signed, Michael Barnes. P.S.: Don't tell anyone else about this letter, This is for your eyes only. I'll know if you let someone else other than you 3 see this letter. Don't face my rage or you will find that I'm brutal in my fights."

Seeing this, Sirzechs destroys the letter after the other 2 read it. They wrap up the investigation and Michael heads to Himejima Clan to warn them about their transgressions. Azazel went back you his headquarters. Sirzechs went to his house.

Back to Michael Barnes' world...

A portal opened and I stepped on the grassy plains outside of Austin once again. I gently set Shuri down. I texted God to show up at my location as I had an idea.

"Where are we?" Shuri asked.

"Let me fully explained where we are and reintroduce myself at the same time. As you know, I'm Michael Barnes. What you will now find out is that I'm from another world. We are in the world I'm from. I'm known as the Mad Dog King of the Barnes Kingdom. I've spent 7-8 years in this world. I also have many wives and kids. The reason I brought to my world is to train you in self defense so what happened a little bit ago won't happen again."

Shuri's eyes went wide. She looked around and saw my capital city in a short distance. Then a flash of white light blinded her.

"hey old man." I said as God arrived.

"Well, that didn't take long, my child." God said.

"Can you make her a high human like me?"

"Yes."

"Then do it." I said to God. He touched Shuri's forehead with a finger and Shuri started to shine brightly. After a few seconds, the light dimmed down until she was back to normal.

"What did you do to me?" Shuri asked looking at God.

"I made you a high human, a human that has surpassed the limitations on one's body and soul. For what Michael has in store for your training, that's for you to ask him." God answered her.

"And what training you will have will be 2 months of physical training, 2 months of weapons training, and 2 months of magical training. Then 2 months to hone your skills. God, teleport me to my castle please."

With that, we were instantly teleported to my castle. My wives sensed that I came back and all went to greet me. When they saw me with Shuri, a few of them started to get the idea that they were getting a new sister. Before they went to greet Shuri, I told them to hold on. I explained the situation and then asked if they all could help her with training. All of them said yes. My eyes caught Yuna as I saw that she was going to hatch a scheme to bring Shuri into the sisterhood of my wives. I walked over and hugged her. As I hugged her, I whispered, "Don't. Let it happened naturally. If it is meant to be, I'll accept her as a wife. If it doesn't then don't push it. She has a daughter in her world and the father is still alive. She may still love the father of her child so that's why I don't want you to push her into the sisterhood." As we separated, she nodded to me as she understood. I showed Shuri around my castle and showed her where her room is. Then I showed her where she was going to spending most of the first 2 months in, my personal weight room. All the while, my wives where following us and introducing themselves to Shuri. When Kagura introduced herself, I could see a friendship would start. I did plan on Kagura to train Shuri with swordsmanship since she's the only one that wields a katana. The day came to an end with a big dinner and some time with my kids as I played with my children. Some of my kids was already in school so I helped them with homework. Margaret and Jazmine helped to play with the kids too. Soon it was bedtime as I was heading to bed with all my wives. I run into Shuri, heading into her room.

"Michael?"

"Yes Shuri?

"Will I see my daughter again?"

"Yes, I have to go back and finish my missions there in your world. But first, you need to know how to defend yourself."

"Ok, good night Michael."

"Good night Shuri."

I walk towards my room. As I away, I felt her staring at me. I knew it wasn't with bad intentions. I made sure that I put up a soundproof barrier so I wouldn't disturb anyone sleep. It's time to have some fun with my wives.
