3 Chapter 3 - Beta-Tester
I opened my eyes as I heard the phones ring, "Ahh ~" I yawn as I sat on my bed. I looked at the clock just in front of me, "10:34 AM."
"It's still morning!" I complained, but I could do nothing but get up and make the bed and took the towel and took a shower.
"Mom! What's for breakfast?" I asked as I got down. "Bacon with egg, I also made rice cake, if you want that, it's just in the refrigerator!" Mom replied.
I no longer answered and ate immediately.
Ting ..
my attention immediately turned to my cellphone when it rang. "Who could it be?" I asked myself.
"Its John." I said seeing his message to me.
From: Xavier
To: Me
See you in 11.
that's just its text to me, "See you at 11? what's up-" I immediately got up and immediately ran to the bedroom to get my bag. "I'M LATE FOR BIO CLASS!" I shouted and immediately left the house.

"Your face was so epic before Aero, do you really think we have a class today in bio? Didn't you look at the calendar ?!" Xavier said as he laughs.
I thought I was really late before, because when Xavier texted me it was already 10:54 AM and I was still eating, but when I was in a hurry I went to the school gate and saw that it was broken.
"It's your fault Xavier!" angry if he says, "Am I really the culprit?" it said, while looking at me.
I ignored him, we're here in the Park now and we're just leaving school, "So, What's up?" Xavier asked.
"Nope, too boring." I answered, because Xavier didn't know that I was BlueFin. "Ah, of course the trend on twitter yesterday was about TNG releasing its announcement that they have finished sending 500 invitations." it says. "Here we are." we sat on a bench "And do you know that Vince is one of those who received."
It's obvious on Xavier's face that he doesn't like Vince, because what happened is, Vince, Jamaica, Xavier and me used to be BFF not until Vince started playing and started to stream, it became famous because of the brutal way of killing bosses. Yes, he became famous but he lost time with his friends, as well as his girlfriend.
But if you're asking me, I don't miss my friends and even my family, I know I can do time management.
"But damn, the luck of the picks, knowing that they could play as a beta tester." he says.
I was silenced because of what Xavier said, is it such a big deal to be a beta tester? I mean I tried once, but it's so boring, yes there is a part that makes you excited but after that, it's gone.
"Aero." I was immediately brought back to reality when Xavier called me, "Let's put it, you, your a famous pro gamer and then you received an email that you will be a beta tester, will you join or not?" John asked me seriously.
"No." I answered immediately.
"As I expected." it says. "But if I'm the one who can receive I'll join, I mean it's a once in a lifetime and they still pay you, it's a win win situation." he yawn "Oh well, lets grab lunch." he said and he stood up.
"Where do you want to eat?" it asked me, "McDo." I said, he smiled, "" Okay, and since you don't eat breakfast its on me. "I was happier with what I heard. We immediately looked for a ride to McDo.
"1pc chicken and an milk tea for dessert." I told John then looked for a seat.
"BlueFin is really bad, he's the only one who can kill Finic City Boss, Satan." I stopped at what I heard.
"yeah, after his live stream, many pro-gamers followed so that they could be on the list of those who defeated Satan."
"But who is BlueFin really?" its question.
"No one knows, But still I'm still his number 1 fan." said the other.
"Hey Aero, I just finished ordering and couldn't find a seat. I immediately backed away due to panic." Sorry. "That's all I said.
When we found a seat we ate immediately.
"So see you next week." Xavier said and then he left.
I'm still at McDo drinking my milk tea. I yawn as I look at the window. "Should I try the beta-tester?"

the next morning …
August 10, 2078 (Saturday)
"Mom, I'm leaving first." I said then left the house, holding my cellphone as I made my way to the highway. "Oh, I should let Jamaica Know about this." I said happily.
'I decided to join the Beta-tester, because of what I heard and read on social media.'
[Calling Jamaica …]
"Oh, Aero?" she immediately answered the phone.
"I have something to say." smiling I said, "I'll join the beta-tester."
"Ah-WAIT WHAT ?! TRUE? DAMN! THATS GOOD FOR YOU!" she shouted at me, she was obviously surprised but she was more excited. "Tell me about what will happen?" it says.
"Of course, the taxi has arrived, I'm going there" I said at the end of the call.
I take a seat. because the city is far from our town, but the school I attend is just nearby, it also takes more than an hour to get to the city.
in our town there is a kindergarten to high school and then the only Xavier University, where I study along with Jamaica and John. You can say there that in all cases it is still better if you are in the city, there are many places you can go.
At my window I sat down and prepared my headphones. I can doze for the entirety of the ride.
The soft melody and the hoarse voice of Jungkook, I listened to their music Life Goes On. I close my eyes to what I hear. When the Taxi stop. I opened my eyes, the blue sea welcomed me. It glows because of the sunlight. There are friends playing at the top of the sea wall. I smiled at what I saw.
Getting out of our town means watching the never-ending stretch of the gorgeous sea. The taxi started again, I watched the fisherman, who was from a village near us, sail.
The taxi stopped again because the bus following it stopped. A girl whose hair was tucked into a hat walks, wearing two white headphones in her ear and she was constantly fiddling with her cellphone. There was a black bag slung over her shoulder. Her face was hidden by the cap and the black mask she was wearing.
She entered the bus. I didn't pay much attention to her and just went back to sleep.
The taxi arrived in the city by 10AM. I put on the mask as well as my bag then paid and got out of the taxi. I should make a left turn and walk straight from there. The company is easy to spot. It is one of the tallest buildings here in the city.
The café establishment that stood beside it looked like a mere dog house in comparison. I looked around. A large number of people are already entering the building. Some of them are even familiar to me. Streamers.
I followed a group of well -known squad players to enter. They're well known for their teamwork and quirky attitudes. They are maybe one of the well -known group streamers. In any game they are complete.
There are streamers who are loyal to one group or squad. Because of their videos where there is only one partner and they actually have a bond, they will be sold on TechLive. One of them usually have the highest subscriber while the rest gets dragged to fame.
It's easy to get viewers once you're in a group. Meanwhile, for us solo streamers we are mainly watched for tips and tricks. Of course we will also be close to well -known players in the community, however we are more likely to appear in episodes and not every video.
Lots of people in the TNG hall. Guards littered around the room, securing the glass windows, walls and for security check entry. I saw other comrades approaching at the front desk so I followed.
When the group in front finished questioning me the female clerk gave me a smile. I showed the email to the woman in front of me.
My forehead furrowed as I saw the woman's eyes widen. She flickered her gaze from the email to me.
"Is something wrong?" I will ask.
Did I give the wrong email? Should I show an ID to confirm my identity?
"Y-your B-Blue-Fin?" its a stuttering question. I just nodded.
"Ah-" I immediately covered her mouth with one finger. "Shh, can I have my ID Pass?" I ask. She just nodded then she handed me my ID Pass, "Can I get one pic?" She asks.
I just nodded, we took one pic and I leave her.
