11 Chapter 11 - Winged Beast
I stood holding the Shaman's Monarch in my hands and walked away. We re-entered the Building and walked to the 5th floor, "Why are we back here?" I didn't answer him and immediately peeked out the window to see if a Goblin was passing by. Damaging and killing them is a very easy task, especially since we already have a weapon.
The companion glanced at me. "Do you play a lot of games?"
I nodded.
"Ahh!" he yawn, "So you're a veteran."
I hesitated to nod. Maybe I can be considered a veteran? I don't know.
I don't know why he hasn't left yet. Until we just killed the thirty Goblin, "Why didn't they give the shaman and hob a kill count." it says angrily. Well his through, when we killed the shaman and hob our kill count didn't move. I don't not but I do like the company, however. He never spoke again. Most of the time, we hunted the beast in silence.
I pulled out my Chain and placed it around my neck, and each of the tips is on my hands. I released it when I jumped to the other building and the other tip was on the other one. The man followed me, circling his jump and slashing his blade as he cut down the Goblin's neck.
I caught my breath from the relentless running, jumping and fighting. I looked at the kill count. I only need a few Goblin to complete my required tasks. I don't have much interest in Emblem.
Another, I have a feeling I will be facing That person if ever I try to go for it.
"are there no replacement available here?" a sudden question.
Our eyes widened as we jumped from each other when a chakram flew between us. From the shadow of the walls came a woman. Her wavy hair is cut short and her face is serious.
He easily caught the chakram when it returned to him. "Question. Who are you?" she asked seriously.
"Xy." simple answer of the man.
I was stunned. Oh right, I don't even know his name! We just worked together without knowing each other's names.
The two of them shifted their gaze to me so I fell silent. "John."
"Curious. Are you two together?"
"What do you mean?" Xy frowned. "We partnered up killing Goblins but we are nor affiliated in any ways."
"Wonderful. I thought you were lovers"
Lovers? Did she mean lovers? I frowned. "Do you mean me Lovers?!"
He nodded, "Answer. It's 21st everybody is open minded." I immediately looked at Xy who was holding back a laugh.
"Is that your weapon? Chakram?" Xy asked about the weapon that had thrown at us earlier.
the woman nodded. "Agreement. You're right."
"Why are you saying adjectives at the start of your sentences?" frown if question.
The girl's serious face broke into a hilarious laughter. I stared at her curiously. Xy beside me scoffed in annoyance. The woman's laughter was still steady for no apparent reason.
is there anything funny I asked?
"Oh, I'm in the mood, to do this." she grinned. "Watched a show that had it so I wanted to copy."
she's kind of weird.
"So, what's your name? Have ours, we don't have yours." Xy asked.
The woman was held on the chin while thinking. "Let's see. What's a good name for a scam? Hm. Let's go with Samantha, Sam for short."
"It's a fake name?" I asked because she said earlier that it was a scam.
Sam smirked. "I don't know. You find it out."
I frowned. But I asked her because I didn't know. Besides, why doesn't she know that she named herself.
Suddenly our faces became serious as we saw the garrison of Goblins below. I can see about 20 of them. I prepared the Chain and so did two of their weapons. And immediately descended, We earnestly stared at the group of Goblins that were just in front of us and running.
so we were shocked when a part of the building suddenly fell down. "What the hell is that!" We immediately looked in the direction of the broken building. "That's a winged beast." Far bigger than what we battled the Hobgoblin, we immediately ran to hide when suddenly a winged beats appeared in front of me and took hold of me. I yelped at the loss of balance and footing the two shouted as it dragged me to heaven.
The red sky drowned me in its blood as the Winged Beast Flew towards me for their feast.

Upon killing the Shaman and Hobgoblin, a new beast has entered the floor, a Beast known for its killing strategy, A Winged Beast has appeared.
It is the time for your weapon to shine, you are given a new task:
Kill 50 winged beast.

The claws of the winged beast dug deep on my shoulder making me cry out in pain. It flew me upwards, The crimson sky enveloping me. My eyes widened when I saw two more winged beasts approaching.
From below I saw the passing of Chakram n Sam beside. It sliced over the second Winged beast's body, circle us and sliced the third one. I looked down. It would be suicide if he attacked the winged beast I was carrying. We are very high now.
But I also couldn't afford to feed myself to the winged beast. I can't also let this monster bring me higher into the sky.
I saw a dozen of winged beast that flew below us. That's when I came up with a plan. But before that, I need to kill or escape from the one that's currently holding me.
