Lykanthropos

[WARNING!- MATURE CONTENT] She gasped with eyes wide open and so did he. "It's you." They both said at the same time. She didn't know how to react so she just stared at him. "You're the one who called me a pervert." he said. She was now scared than shocked. "I'm so sorry Prince...Your highness," she lowered her gaze. "You were being a pervert but I shouldn't have said anything. Please don't have me executed." she begged. He stared at her for a while and began to laugh. "Execute you? Why would I do that?" She looked up at him. "I don't know maybe cos I was disrespectful." "I couldn't do that. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't." He said. "So you're not gonna chop my head off?" "No." The elevator opened and they both got off. "What room are you in?" "Um..., I don't wanna say." she said. He nodded slowly. "Ok. I get that. Good night then." He was leaving but then he came back. "What's your name?" asked he. "K-kristen." she answered. "Last name?" he added. She lifted her brows. "Kael." "Hmm. Kristen Kael. It's lovely." She didn't know why but it sounded so nice when he said her name. "What's yours?" she asked him. "Prince Achilles Onasis." he said in a proud voice. She was taken aback. His name sounded really royal. She nodded her head. Instantly, he leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Made you wet didn't it?" he then smirked and walked away. Kristen found herself shocked and nervous at the same time.

Selfish fool

"Right," Loukâs nodded his head. "Why were you in the Palace, and what relationship do you have with my brother?" he asked.

"That does not concern you. I just wanna go back to him. I was with him before you came." "Why were you with him then?!" She closed her eyes as he shouted. "He saved my life Luke while you ruin it. I'm gonna go back now because I can at least be with someone who cares for me."

"No!!!" Loukâs shouted once more. "It's always Achilles. Achilles this, Achilles that. Why does everyone think he's better than me?! He's not ok? He's not. Somehow, he's always ahead of me even with you now, and I never hear the end of it."

Kristen just let him throw his tantrums.

"I don't know what to say, Luke. I wanna go now."

She slowly stepped around him and opened the door. "If you open that door any further..., you're dead." Loukâs gave a threatening remark. She smiled. "There's nothing you can do that can hurt me at this point." she confidentently hindered. She didn't know where she got the confidence from, but she was glad she could stand up to him.

She opened the door and left, slamming it hard and leaving him alone in her hotel room.

She knew he wouldn't necessarily kill her, but he could hurt her if he wanted to, so she decided to walk back to the Palace as fast as she could.

Immediately, she stepped out of the hotel. It was dark and pouring heavily. She wanted to wait till the rain stopped, but she couldn't waste much time.

She walked underneath the pouring rain, clutching her arms as it got super cold. The wind blew strongly, making her shiver intensely. She had quite a distance to go, and she was nowhere near the Palace.

"Achilles, I need you," she whispered in a shaky voice. "Please come help me." She was fully aware that her cries would not be heard but a part of her yearned for him. She wanted him to come rushing to her with an umbrella and warm her up with his fiery touch. A part of her also knew that he wasn't coming. Even if his godly senses were tingling that she needed help, he wouldn't show because he was too egotistical and would never swallow his pride.

"I-I need y-you so bad." she whispered again. She kept on walking and walking. She felt like she had walked for hours, but she still couldn't see the Palace, which meant she still wasn't close. She was exhausted, and the rain was making it even harder.

It was getting stormy. Thunder strikes now and then. She was wet with her clothes and hair sticking to her frail body. She was shivering harshly, and her lips and fingers were turning blue from the cold.

She was losing hope. She kept thinking that she wouldn't make it, and Loukâs would catch up with her. It was really dark and she really shouldn't be walking all alone.

At this time, the moon was rising, but it wasn't at its highest peak. She wanted to stop by a nearby shed, but she thought it was a bad idea. She decided to keep walking.

Lifting her head up, She saw a silhouette of someone approaching her. She got scared for a moment but the person got closer and she saw it was an older man.

"Excuse me, sir, can you tell me if I'm close to the Jurry Palace?" she asked. "Just a few meters more, my dear." the man responded. Her heart leaped for joy. She didn't know how close she was, but a few meters shouldn't be that long.

"Thank you, sir." She said and slightly bowed her head in appreciation. The man continued his journey, walking steadily while holding an umbrella to shield him from the rain.

She, on the other hand, kept walking in hopes of reaching the Palace soon.

She walked for about 7 minutes before she could see the Palace in a distance. She then began to quicken her pace in order to reach faster.

"There you go, Kristen. You're so close." She said enthusiastically. Just a few steps, and she reached the big gates.

A Palace guard saw her approach and walked closer to the gate. "Who goes there?" he questioned. She held onto the golden bars. Dripping wet and shivering violently, she responded. "My name is Kristen Kael. Please tell his Highness Prince Achilles that I'm back and that I'm sorry." "Who are you miss?" The guard asked again. "Um... I wanna say a friend." she said.

The guard nodded his head.

"Stay here for a minute." he said and rushed into the Palace to get the prince.

Kristen stood in the heavy rain, looking desperate and cold. Couldn't he have let her in instead? She was freezing cold.

Soon, the guard came back.

"His Highness says he has no business with you, and you should leave immediately." The guard said. Her heart slumped. Did he really say that?

"What?! Did you say it was me?" She asked. "Yes. Now please leave."

"I can't leave. I have nowhere to go." "That is not my problem, miss. Get out of here!"

"No! Achilles! Achilles?! Come out, please!" she cried out loud. She wasn't sure if he could hear her, but she had to try.

Meanwhile, Achilles watched from the top window with no remorse. In his mind, she deserved it. His mind was flooded with anger and hatred that he didn't feel anything else. He clenched his hand by his side and watched her with pity non evident.

"I said leave now!" The guard yelled at her. She began to tear up. Was he really going to ignore her like that? She couldn't help but cry. Well, at least no one would notice as she was standing in the rain.

She slowly backed away from the big golden gate, shaking her head in disbelief. Turning around to leave, she tripped, and her body slumped to the ground. She was so tired and weak that she couldn't even get up. Leisurely rising up from the ground, she turned around and looked at the Palace. This time, her eyes met his as he was standing at the window, but he panicked. Her eyes...

She couldn't believe he was watching her suffer this whole time. She was angry at him.

Concurrently, his cold gaze grew soft, and he realized what a selfish fool he had been.
